Everything was fine except the air conditioning didnt get cool enough for my satisfaction. My wife was fine with it though. Loved the location. Right across the street from the Granary Cemetary where Sam Adams, Paul Revere, etc were buried. Very close to Park Street T station as well as Boston Commons. When I asked what was taking so long, I was told that I should have given the wait staff notice. No one told me that an advance notice was necessary. Great hotel, very clean and comfortable with great and friendly staff. Loved the wine hour from 5-6pm everyday in the lobby where you can get free red or white wine. Affordable stay in a great location.

Very nice hotel, great location walking distance to everything including the harbor. When we told the front desk that it was our Anniversary they sent up a bottle of champaign and a sweet hand written note. Enjoyed a 2night stay at this very well appointed boutique hotel. Central to most everything you'd want to visit on a weekend getaway in Boston. Only complaint is that the room was very small - like most other reviewers noted. Otherwise a great stay. Walking distance to Quincy Market, Newbury St. (shopping/cafes) and waterfront.

I think this hotel is over-rated on the "romantic" end. It's contemporary design made it unique and the queen bed was very comfortable and the room sound-proof. We booked a king room with view, but when we arrived early for check in, one was not available. The desk attendant offered to take our bags until the normal check in time, but then offered us a queen room with view, which was a better solution for us. The room was perfect for us, and the view really was extraordinary. The hotel is located just steps from Boston Common and a walkable distance from Newbury Street. The wine hour is a plus! The concierge was very helpful in giving us advice on daily activities and where to eat. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We arrived at the hotel a few hours before check-in time planning to drop off our bags, but we were happy to find out our room was ready and we were able to check in right away. It was very hot in Boston during our visit, and the staff kept ice cold water with orange and lemon slices available in the lobby. Great experience overall. Checking in and out was a breeze. Staff was friendly and willing to help. I had made a few special requests that were taken care of no problem. Location is great to downtown, quincy, the T, everything. Valet was great too. Friendly, clean, comfortable, modern. Would and will stay there again.

Our room was beautifully decorated and furnished; very clean; the bed was amazingly comfortable; the dark-out curtains provided almost perfect darkness for a great night's sleep. The bathroom was well-appointed, elegant, and literally sparkling clean. The common areas of the hotel (that we got to see--it was a quick trip) were tasteful and well kept. […] But the thing that brought it all home was the staff; everyone we either dealt with directly or saw in passing was polite, friendly, and welcoming. We arrived in the city a few hours before official check-in time and decided to check and see if we could get in early...no problem. Likewise, when we asked about checking out a little late, we had the same response--no problem! While we've tended to stay in Back Bay when visiting (our daughter lives in South End and it's just a little easier to get to from Back Bay), we will stay at the Nine Zero from now on. Read more

The Nine Zero is located in a highly convenient spot, just a few blocks away from a the financial district and from some of most relevant Bonston's historical sites. I was welcomed by very professional and smiling staff (a smile is something simple but that you may value a lot when checking in after 11pm!). The hotel looks quite new or recently renovated. […] The size of the room was perfect, and it was clean and comfortable, I only had two small remarks: i) the dock-in station for the iPod/iPhone didn't work properly, ii) in the shower the liquid soap was missing. I enjoyed the complimentary wifi connection to Internet, which was of a very good quality.
