The hotel is well-located. Though it is an old building, and it could use some renovation.

This century-plus aged hotel is stunningly beautiful inside. Look in even if you don't stay here. My suite was large and well appointed, but the AC didn't really cool the room and the bed was very squeaky. In short, it looked great but functioned a little less well. That said, I will stay here again on my next trip.

I thought the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was great for me because it was close to where I needed to be. 5 minute walk to a mall with a few American stores like Aldo and Guess, a movie theatre, and some restaurants. We were even able to walk and found a museum and site seeing. There was however construction going on in the hotel but it wasn't bad at all. They didn't start too early or stop too late.

Located in Mexico City (Polanco), Presidente InterContinental Mexico City is close to Auditorio Nacional, Museo Nacional de Antropologia, and Chapultepec Park. Also nearby are Castillo de Chapultepec and Monumento a los Heroes de la Independencia.

"too old"
there are other better and more modern hotels in D.F. needs serious matinenance.... love the neighborhood and the restaurants inside the hotel but not enough for me to go back.... not recommended.

"Need remodelation"
This hotel is well located, but looks old, the carpet needs to be change! the beds are as hard as rock, the bath looked old, we stayed in a non smoking room but the whole bedroom smelled like cigarrets. The bedroom size is ok.The people in the reception and the concierge are very nice. We went on a day trip and when we comeback they still havent done […] the room!!! No wondeer why the smell. "Needs a lot"
The room was dirty. Had not been vacumed. Hair everywhere. The bed was as hard as concrete. Had to pay extra for wireless. A very expensive hotel with very low quality rooms. I do not recommend.

Excellent location, fabulous staff, perfect for a first visit to Mexico City. Room was very comfortable and, of course, clean. Highly recommending this hotel!

Nunca había conocido un Concierge tan amable y profesional .. el nombre no es fácil de recordar pero tal vez ,, Fidencio .
Es un excelente hotel, creo que sólo tendría un par de quejas, siendo la principal que por error de su sistema al momento del check out, me cargaron a mi tarjeta de crédito el costo de la noche, siendo que éste ya había sido pagado con anterioridad en su totalidad a través de hoteles.com. Sin embargo todos fueron muy amables en solucionar el problema […] y se me hizo el reembolso, tardaron 2 semanas, pero lo hicieron. El otro comentario sería que en la habitación que nos tocó, la alarma de incendio estaba toda parchada y llena de cinta canela por todos lados, dando un muy mal aspecto al resto de la habitación que estaba muy bien. Recomiendo este hotel cuando visite Ciudad de México por su excelente ubicación; cerca al metro, al Turibus y a myuy buenos restaurantes y bares. Busque alojarme en este hotel, porque lo hacia seguido hace algunos años, y me gustaba, de repente empece alojarme en el Camino Real de Mariano Escobedo, el cual me gusta mucho, encontre en Presidente Chapultepec, muy feo, descuidado, estaban arreglando algo en el lobby cuando llegue por lo que no pudimos apreciarlo, la habitacion muy austera, decidimos […] quedarnos en mex. de ultimo momento y no llevabamos nada, supuse que en el hotel me darian shampoo y algunos objetos que son de utilidad, pero no tuve que salir a comprarlos, enla reservacion ofrecian desayunos, que negaron en darmelos, asi que tambien sali a desayunar a otro lugar, definitivamente muy caro para lo que ofrecen, me quedo con el Camino Real , concozco casi todos los hoteles soy agente de viajes desde hace mas de 18 años, mi agencia es de las mas importante de la ciudad de hidalgo. "Hotel Presidente: Estrategicamente cerca de todo"
Excelente la estancia, ya que caminando puedes recorrer todo Polanco. Enfrente esta el Auditorio Nacional y la parada parada para subir al Turibus. Una de las grandes atracciones esta dentro del hotel, su restaurante francés una delicia.
En general el hotel muy bueno no lo conocía pero me quede con muy buena experiencia. Si vuelvo a hospedarme

"great business hotel"
hotel was well situated. all the amenities were great. very nice view over the city. It's starting to show some age, but maintenance is done well.
