"What do you want for $50.00?"
I got what I paid for & expected.: tired, worn out room, dirty carpet, filthy fridge, no a/c, worn out, but seemingly cleaned bedding, and one and only chair that was ready to fall apart. At least the guy at the counter was friendly and accommodating!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Well worth the price."
The place is old but freshly remodeled clean and in good shape.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good rate for a fair hotel"
Rooms are old and a little dingy, but it a fair rate for fair accommodations. Everything worked in the room and the service was good. The only problem was that I had trouble getting Wi-Fi reception and my room was very near the reception desk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap place to stay."
Not bad for the price stayed at worse. Don't expect much for the cost people.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect for the cost"
Route 66 planned as we went along. The hotel was booked last second! Polite receptionist! room was clean. Perfect for one or two night stays!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worst hotel ever stayed"
Worst hotel ever. Staff is rude, AC doesn't work, only one cheap roll of tissue in bath room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I got what I paid for"
Older hotel, I have had better and worse for the price. Good for a cheap overnight option.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Disappointing but has potential"
Facility is dated and needs a renovation. There were bare patches of (unpainted) plaster in the bathroom, sheets and blankets with cigarette holes, coffee and pool listed on the sign were not provided. The staff did not give a good overview of things when signing in like where the laundry room was, that we had to ask for the room to be cleaned, but […] that we had to ask before 11 am (?). The rate for the room was very inexpensive, but it needs some overall renovation (painting, repairs, coffee in room, pool repaired, loose electrical plugs replaced, etc.) to make it competitive with the nearby chain motels. The room was VERY smokey. There were no suites available due to a broken water pipe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Food across the street"
It was interesting having the 2 beds separated by a wall and door - Choose the room with the bathroom or the room with the TV! Although they allow dogs - don't stay here with one - nothing but hot pavement all around - no where to walk your pet. We had ants in our room and the room was not cleaned while we were there. It took forever to get towels when […] we needed them and their is a loud train very close by. The diner across the road is great though :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap all I did is sleep."
Just came to sleep there .There was a lot of train noise and the walls were thin, poor lighting and electrical plugs.I would definitely upgrade the next time I visit Flagstaff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"on the way to Grand Canyon"
It was sufficient for what I needed - to stay somewhere overnight. I did not expect much. The bed sheets were so thin that you can see through it. Towels were very worn out also, mostly grey, not white. During the night I could hear the train like I was on the train station. Microwave oven did not have the glass plate. Bed was comfortable and shower […] worked OK. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The A/C doesn't work and generate tremendous noise. Overall room condition is a bit shady.Genuine Expedia guest review
"WOW... I know it was cheap, but come on!!"
First off. Entered the "lobby" nobody is there, wait 5 minutes, nobody.. A cab driver shows up to pick up someone, calls the front desk telephone, nobody answers. I had to go find a maid, to find the manager or whomever he was to come to the front desk.. What the? No apology... nothing.. The ridiculous part, I'd already paid for the room!!! I wasn't […] expecting much from the room either, and it came in far below my expectations. The only outlet that worked was the one the dated TV and refrigerator (which looked like it'd been dropped down a set of stairs) were plugged into. Had to unplug one or the other just to charge my phone. The towels all had stains on them, the hand towel looked like it was used as a grease rag because there were dark black streaks on in.. All I can say is I have no idea how that place passes any inspections, because it was... WOW... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Only under duress"
The room smelled of things I can not describe. There was no wifi, mirrors anywhere in the room. All of the towels had holes in them. I have been around the world with the military and have stayed in some very questionable place and this was even worse than those.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Will not stay there again!"

The price was cheap, and I regret making the price be my "choice maker." I was questioned why I needed more toilet paper in the bathroom! Are you serious ???? There was only a half a roll when we checked in!! Never again will I stay at the Snow Peak Inn!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good customer service, rooms are suitable for quick stays especially if you're site seeing the area... There was No continental breakfast when it was listed on Hotel.com.. For the price of the room, I could live with out the breakfast...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I like cheap hotel rooms This one was a little beyond my comfort zone The towels were stained and disgusting Not just a little stained It looked liked someone had used it to wipe up oilGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great stay for the price"
The rooms were bigger than we expected. We had been given a room next to a loud dog and they switched our room upon request. The only real downside was it is next to a train that woke us up a couple times during the night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This place sucks."
These are the rudest people in town. They give zero poops about their customers.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"0.5 miles to the Las Vegas strip"
No microwave or refrig. Internet is very slow. Breakfast is kiddy meal. You have to pay for your drink. The resignation is inside the casino. If you have health problem. I wouldn't go inside. TV is basic channel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Horrible Horrible Horrible"
Most HORRIBLE place I've ever stayed!!! The room was FILTHY!!! The ground out side was cleaner. There were cigarette butts and pills in the drawer. The refrigerator still had someone else's food in it. The shower was repulsive. The place needs to be burn downed. "Top place for a Flagstaff on a shoe string visit"
We found this hidden gem on Expedia that gave us a fantastic price per night. This deal gave us the opportunity to get reasonably waisted at a nearby bar using the money we saved on this stay. The motel's central location was perfect for walking to our favorite brewery in Flagstaff. We knew what to expect therefore the first thing we checked in our […] room was the bed linen. It obviously was not fresh (well, for a connoiseur) and had some hair on it. From one's head as well. The receptionist was kind enough to give us another room with two (sic!) beds. Needless to say, both beds had a used linen on them. We went to the reception for the second time and were offered a full refund for the reservation. We rejected this generous offer feeling positive about supporting this local non-chain family run business. Instead we took a set of fresh linen and changed it by ourselves. Everything else was fine besides a dirty towel that required a third rendez-vous with the receptionist and a well-torn blanket that reminded a Swiss cheese. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"won't stay there again"
Very noisy rooms, lighting was terrible, the only plug in the bathroom was not working so it was hard to get hair and makeup done in the morning. I had to wait until the manager came back to even check in. He was gone and took the key so no one else could help. The heat was not working, no phone in the room and the sink was clogged.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"R U N!!!"
horrified.. I certainly didnt have delusions this may be the Ritz when I booked but WOW. if you've ever wondered what happens to hotel furniture when it gets discarded...this is it! everything in this room is wobbly, damaged in one way or another, even missing pieces. stripped bed for giggles to find the mattress covered in dark brown stains and obviously […] far beyond its legitiment 'best if used by' date. couldnt use wifi if my life depended on it, couldnt even plug phone or computer into an outlet (kept falling out) and more water damage than ive ever seen just painted over and over. and to top it off my family was rudely approached immediately after arriving by an intoxicated 'permanent resident'. "Great value for money"
At the price we paid we were not expecting the Ritz but the Snow Peak Inn was a pleasant surprise, just far enough away from the Santa Fe railroad to not be disturbed. A good 50's diner opposite 10mins from supermarkets and with a microwave and fridge in the room and of course on the infamous route 66. Don't expect thick fluffy towels etc but everything […] was clean and workable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Snow peak inn sucks"
Dirty rooms. Towels and rags were stained. Heater started blowing cold air in the middle of night 1. Night 2 heater was still not working. Called the front desk they offered their last space heater to us. Breaker blew while running microwave. It was completely useless to even offer a microwave. Will stay else where next trip to flagstaff.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Much better than expected"
Based on the reviews, we expected the worst. Turns out the room was basic but totally OK. Very nice, firm mattress let us sleep better than on the soft beds in more expensive hotels. Don't expect much of the hotel staff, they're neither very friendly nor exceptionally helpful. Bathroom didn't look great, but everything worked. For the price, though, […] you could do much worse. "Worst hotel experience I've ever had..."
Upon arrival, I received a broken key with the incorrect door number on it, & it didnt open the room we were assigned. After over a dozen tries, we asked the front desk to help. He tried w/the same broken key, had trouble opening it, then after a few tries, hit the door open w/his shoulder & instructed us to "use force" to get it open, because the door […] "gives a little." He said he got the door open using "magic." Uncomfortable, but we had an hour before a wedding, so we agreed. We went to the car to get our bags, & when we got back to the door, we couldn't open it again. We used some force as instructed, & it broke the thin piece of wood holding the door shut. The maintenance man immediately yelled from downstairs, "hey, be careful because I have to fix everything you break!" I tried explaining from the 2nd floor, & the man scoffed and walked away. I called the front desk & told the man what happened, & he said "I'll send someone." He sent maintenance, who began yelling at us. "What did you do? No one told you to break it!" I politely explained what happened, apologized, & explained that it was 1 piece of wood. We were sorry, but it happened & it had to be fixed. He said "I'll be right back.." He then called us an explicit profanity! The man at the front desk came to yell as well. He angrily said that it was our fault. He told us we couldn't have another room. We had to leave the room open when we left & keep our items in the car all night. Still didnt work when we returned. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Reserved from hotel.com month ago. When I arrived there and asked about free breakfast and was told that the hotel canceled their free breakfast just one week ago. Guess better to let customer know before the come if they change policy to affect sold service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Older hotel. The rooms are smaller. No Wi-Fi but has DSL. If you don't have a DSL cord, they will loan one to you. Electric plugs and DSL outlet are in awkward areas. No plugs in bathroom at all. "Will never stay here."
We had booked this room and from the site it looks ok for a one night stay. However the site was wrong. We checked in and everything seemed fine. We got to our room and it was DISGUSTING!! It was not clean at all. We opened a drawer and there were cracker crumbs in it. There was no phone and no wifi. We weren't getting a good cell phone reception so […] a phone would've been nice. We were leaving to go sightseeing and we stopped at the lobby to tell them about our room and asked if they would send someone to clean it and to ask about the wifi. When we asked for someone to clean our room the hotel staff said if we were going to be difficult we should check out now. They didn't act like they wanted us there so we in fact did check out and checked in at the super 8 two doors down. They were happy to have us and said that that happens a lot. I would certainly not recommend anyone staying here. Spend a couple extra bucks and book someone else. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"you got what you paid for"
Recommended for budget traveler. Don't expect much for the price this hotel offered. You will get a not cold fridge, a microwave (did not find out if whether its working), soft pillow and bed, tiny room, not a flat TV, a noisy air conditioner, but I was okay with those condition. For me, this hotel offers better than other hotels on the same class.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok for one night."
While the room was clean the outside was terribly dirty with debris mostly cigarette butts. Could hear the train faintly all night long just enough to awaken us. The towels were rather thin. The manager was very grumpy. Would not stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hands down the worst hotel I've ever stayed in"
We got in very late after a long day of driving through Phoenix dust storms and then monsoon rain. After check in, we walked in and were nearly blown over by the smell of cat littler. The roof leaked and water dripped on the bed. The towels were ragged and had actual holes in them. The carpet was matted & sticky. There was no breakfast as advertised […] and when I asked for coffee he said "in 5 minutes" so I came back in 10 and he was gone, as was the coffee pot. 30 minutes after that he said it was after 9, no more coffee served. The swimming pool area is used for storage. They will only give you one key. If we hadn't traveled so far, in horrid weather, and it was so late and prepaid through hotels.com there is no way we would have stayed, but as it was I had to carry my daughter up stairs in pouring rain to find out how bad the room was to begin with. I'll be back in Flagstaff a lot as my other daughter goes to NAU. But I'm spreading the word of how nasty this place was. NEVER EVER EVER stay at the Snow peak Inn Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
