Great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast selection and quiet. The only room they had left was a smoking room, i was nervous about it but we got in our room and it had a sligh smell, we just opened the sliding door to air out and it never bothered us. We had a great experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best place in Ukiah"
Arrived late at night. No signs of staff. Rang desk bell. After 7 minutes a young, tall, skinny man began to slowly walk to the front desk. He was on the phone and did not make eye contact with me. He proceeded to finish his call (I think it was with a guest) and then began to help me. He turned on the computer farthest from the end where I was standing, […] then asked for my ID and credit card. I found them, set them on the counter and said "here they ate", while I kept looking in my purse for my rewards card. I made small talk and then began to pick up stuff off the floor that had fallen. After I was done (5-8 minutes) I looked up since I noticed it had been silent since I gave him my cards, which were still there. He still was sitting at the other end of the counter, arms crossed, feet against desk looking at me impatiently. He asked for my cards again (which were and had been on the counter). I said in disbelief "I guess I will bring them to you", and did just that. He rolled his eyes, not a word from him. When I asked for the manager on duty he grinned and said it was him. What ridiculous interaction. What a shame the service lacks basic attentiveness to the customer; this actually is the nicest hotel facility in town. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"What a surprise!"
I was quite surprised at how nice the hotel was. I have stayed at Hampton Inns before and never have they been as nice as this one. The room, pool, fitness facility, staff, breakfast and lobby were excellent.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Weekday Stay in Ukiah"
I had business meetings in Ukiah in the middle of the week which required an overnight stay. I checked in about an hour earlier than check-in time, but was allowed to check in anyway. When I arrived at my room, there were three open suitcases sitting on the floor and the television was on. I immediately went to the front desk to let them know that there […] were still people in the room. Without even asking, the front desk provided me with a new room and key, all the while apologizing profusely about the mistake. When I got to my 2nd room, I realized that they had upgraded me to a room with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Within 5 minutes the manager called the room to make sure that everything was fine and again apologized for the mistake. The hotel was immaculate, the room was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. They displayed what I consider to be the epitome of customer service. Although they made a mistake, they were quick to make things right and from that point on the entire stay was perfect. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Romantic Getaway in the Wine Country"
Great location in the heart of Mendocino county and the wine country. We enjoyed our stay in the room with a jacuzzi.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were very delighted with how clean the Hampton Inn was. Staff were very friendly as were the maintenance staff, in particular Martha who took the time to offer any additional help to make our room comfortable. Breakfast was a great convience for our family since we want to not go out in the morning. Should we ever need to be in the area I know we […] will be returning to the Hampton Inn. The Hampton Inn is probably the most modern hotel in the Ukiah area, however, it's getting older and you can tell. The breakfast is poor, the shower isn't satisfactory, older television, the stiff bed, the spa is not quite "hot" and the jets are poor at best especially for paying $30 - $50 more dollars than the few competitive hotels nearby. Not all […] was bad, they finally put in an entrance to the neighboring restaurant, Branches, the lobby is nice and the room is spacious. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Did not get charged the corporate rate. I had asked twice about that and the man said not for PG&E. Requested quit room but go noisy room (facing street) without balcony even thou I had booked it w/balcony. Very bad coffee.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel--marginal breakfast"
The hotel was as one expects at a Hampton Inn--clean, generous size rooms, etc. The breakfast, however, was very meager and the offerings help explain our obesity problem: all carbs and sweet stuff. It would be nice to have a yogurt that isn't full of sugar or a hot dish that isn't all fat. If we pay extra for the breakfast, it would be nice to be able […] to pay less and go get a decent breakfast at a local restaurant. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best stay of our long vacation"
We spent a few days here relaxing after several days of camping up in the Redwood Forest. Beautiful new building, great pool area, decent breakfast, comfy beds. Only minor quibble was the tvs weren't HD/widescreen, but everything else about the hotel was great. Highly recommend for wine country stays - close access to both Anderson Valley and Russian […] River Valley, plus many more. (PS - next time we want to check out the king rooms with fireplaces -- we just stayed in the standard two-queen room!) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Beautiful location, clean hotel room that was large and well kept. Loved the breakfast, was great for our one night stay. Plenty of car parking, a plus all round.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice big room, supercomfortable bed and very clean. Ukiah is very hot in the summer so the hotel's pool was a nice surprise. Also has a gym and a good buffet for breakfast. Highly recommend this for a stay in Ukiah.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice stay"
We syayed for just one night passing through the arean. The hotel is very nice and I would recommend anyone to stay here. The area of the hotel is nothing special but most people are here to go wine tasting anyway so it's not important.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This hotel offers a sweet escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The pool and beautifully landscaped garden have a view of the surrounding mountains. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast were a real treat for our large family.

"Friendly, First Class Service"

All their staff from reception, kitchen, and housekeeping made us feel very welcome. That made our stay most comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen and dining room staff took pride in their work and went out of their way to help and insure food was replenished. They worked hard in keeping the area clean and looking neat. We would definitely return and recommend to friends.

We stayed here during a motorcycle vacation, the room was super clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. The bed was huge and comfy, the jacuzzi tub in the room worked well, and the internet and TV service were also really good. We really liked this hotel.
"Comfortable and Reasonable."

I am always looking for a comfortable place to stay on highway 101, as I take the trip on my way to my children's summer camp. This was our nicest stay in the 8 years we have made the trip. There was a little problem with my reservation, and Rachel at the front desk was so helpful, and nice about it all. The room was very comfortable, and the grounds and pool attractive and welcoming. We ordered dinner from the adjoining restaurant (Crush), and the food was excellent. The only reason I gave this hotel four stars instead of five is that there is a little noise, and the comforters are slightly lumpy. Having said that, I have now ended my search for a good place to stay every summer. This is the place!

"Best hotel stay in all my years!"
06/23/14 Kristen H Paso Robles, United States
Not only was my room perfectly comfortable, but I was constantly blown away by the freindly and accomodating staff! I travel so much for work and I can honestly say that this was by far the best hotel stay I have ever had! Amazing value for the money! Also, as a female, I have to say that I really enjoyed the fresh, clean smell of the entire facility. It's the little things...
We stopped here on a road trip to Oregon. The hotel was just what we needed for the night. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at Mi Pubelito nearby and it was delicious. Breakfast in the morning was great for the family. The staff was nice and we recommend this hotel.
"Hampton Inn is my only choice in Ukiah!"
06/18/14 D M Fortuna, California
As someone who stays at the Hampton Inn in Ukiah regularly (2-3 times per week average since last September), I have already confirmed that the Hampton Inn is my choice when I travel to work in Ukiah. I organized a regional training last week for mental health providers from six other counties and was again reminded of the level of professionalism at this hotel when: Staff worked with me on a block of rooms to ensure availability for attendees to stay at Hampton Inn; Naomi and Nicole assisted every guest with our group with such courtesy and efficiency; and the front desk staff provided awesome support when one guest never arrived on the first night (a Sunday night). I was pulling my hair out Monday morning with worry as I had to leave to begin our training in town…but knew one person was somewhere between Williams (where they called me from at Sunday at 11pm to say they would be in Ukiah by 1am… and never made it.) Besides already being so helpful in providing local maps for everyone who was going to the training, hotel staff also agreed to keep one for the person we were still keeping an eye out and also took my cell phone # to call me if she heard from the guest. The fact that the staff were so supportive made a huge difference just to know we had someone at the hotel who cared. We got the guest there a day late, and he was revived not just by a good night’s sleep but by the care shown your staff. This is my only choice for a hotel in Ukiah!
"No Wine In Wine Country"
06/16/14 Whissely Sao Paulo, SP
This is an above average Hampton Inn. However, I am giving it a lower than average rating for two reasons: First, if people walk heavy on the floor above you - you WILL hear it (and possibly feel it). This is simply unaceptable at a chain that has built hundreds of locations in the US. You would figure that by this time, the architects would have figured this out and designed the building decently. Second, was the fact that the hotel is in wine country yet there are NO wine glasses available at the hotel. The best you get is a plastic coffee cup. You can walk across the street and buy four glasses for $5 at the WalMart (which is what we did). but Hampton should get their act together and fix this. Its just amateur.
