"Good but not Great !!!"
We have stayed at a neighboring hotel in the area before and did not like it at all. We have stayed at Hampton Inns many times in Texas and always have had a good experience. We liked the Hampton Inn in Ukiah but the neighbors in the upstairs room were so loud in the morning that my husband was awakened by them. He was not so happy about that. Our main […] complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was almost non-existant and the tub drained very, very slowly. Also, there was no hot water by 10 am. So, a brisk shower was the order of the day. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very convenient to touring the northern CA coast"
Clean room. Hospitable staff. Good breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was up for a triathlon in Ukiah, the most important thing to me was SLEEP...the bed was VERY comfortable and the room Quiet! The breakfast selection was excellant. I do have 2 complaints though, when we checked in the receptionist was on the phone to a client helping them figure out how to get on the internet. She did not even acknowledge us standing […] there, by the time she did help us, there were 6 other people in line. I felt it could have been something to call the client back on after we were checked in. The other small problem I noticed was that the clean towels in the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. :(( Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel and grounds were at the Hampton Inn in Ukiah. We had an 11 hour trip and decided to stay in Ukiah to cut our trip into 2 days. Everything was up to date, clean, and the grounds were lovely. The cost was low, and what we were expecting was much less. We will definately stay here again. I have already […] recommended this hotel to others. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were there for a graduation the next day, good service from the staff and overall good experience. The mini terraces are a nice bonus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast selection and quiet. The only room they had left was a smoking room, i was nervous about it but we got in our room and it had a sligh smell, we just opened the sliding door to air out and it never bothered us. We had a great experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best place in Ukiah"
Arrived late at night. No signs of staff. Rang desk bell. After 7 minutes a young, tall, skinny man began to slowly walk to the front desk. He was on the phone and did not make eye contact with me. He proceeded to finish his call (I think it was with a guest) and then began to help me. He turned on the computer farthest from the end where I was standing, […] then asked for my ID and credit card. I found them, set them on the counter and said "here they ate", while I kept looking in my purse for my rewards card. I made small talk and then began to pick up stuff off the floor that had fallen. After I was done (5-8 minutes) I looked up since I noticed it had been silent since I gave him my cards, which were still there. He still was sitting at the other end of the counter, arms crossed, feet against desk looking at me impatiently. He asked for my cards again (which were and had been on the counter). I said in disbelief "I guess I will bring them to you", and did just that. He rolled his eyes, not a word from him. When I asked for the manager on duty he grinned and said it was him. What ridiculous interaction. What a shame the service lacks basic attentiveness to the customer; this actually is the nicest hotel facility in town. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"What a surprise!"
I was quite surprised at how nice the hotel was. I have stayed at Hampton Inns before and never have they been as nice as this one. The room, pool, fitness facility, staff, breakfast and lobby were excellent.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Weekday Stay in Ukiah"
I had business meetings in Ukiah in the middle of the week which required an overnight stay. I checked in about an hour earlier than check-in time, but was allowed to check in anyway. When I arrived at my room, there were three open suitcases sitting on the floor and the television was on. I immediately went to the front desk to let them know that there […] were still people in the room. Without even asking, the front desk provided me with a new room and key, all the while apologizing profusely about the mistake. When I got to my 2nd room, I realized that they had upgraded me to a room with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Within 5 minutes the manager called the room to make sure that everything was fine and again apologized for the mistake. The hotel was immaculate, the room was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. They displayed what I consider to be the epitome of customer service. Although they made a mistake, they were quick to make things right and from that point on the entire stay was perfect. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location in the heart of Mendocino county and the wine country. We enjoyed our stay in the room with a jacuzzi.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were very delighted with how clean the Hampton Inn was. Staff were very friendly as were the maintenance staff, in particular Martha who took the time to offer any additional help to make our room comfortable. Breakfast was a great convience for our family since we want to not go out in the morning. Should we ever need to be in the area I know we […] will be returning to the Hampton Inn. We stayed in the Hotel for a night as we were going down to San Francisco. Rooms are great, spacious, clean, staff friendly, had a summing pool and complementary bfast. Nice big room, supercomfortable bed and very clean. Ukiah is very hot in the summer so the hotel's pool was a nice surprise. Also has a gym and a good buffet for breakfast. Highly recommend this for a stay in Ukiah.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice stay"
We syayed for just one night passing through the arean. The hotel is very nice and I would recommend anyone to stay here. The area of the hotel is nothing special but most people are here to go wine tasting anyway so it's not important.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice surprise, recommended"

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is very clean, very well maintained with super comfy beds and good sized rooms. There is a small but nice pool area surrounded by some gardens with a lovely koi pond. Everything was very clean throughout the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There was a small issue with my room when I first arrived and I was immediately changed to another room. The breakfast was great with lots of choices and the breakfast area was good sized and well laid out. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
"Great hotel and location"

Great hotel for the price; excellent newly redesigned breakfast/eating area with wonderful food selection; staff is very friendly and helpful. Several places to eat within walking distance, also a Starbucks. Walls a little thin so neighbors playing TV loud can be a problem. Still, my go-to hotel in Ukiah.
"Nice for an Overnight"

A very nice motel at a reasonable price in Ukiah. Very comfortable bed, nice pillows and four to a bed! Good TV with lots of channels. There's a pool and jacuzzi. Decent breakfast with warm choices like eggs and sausages.
"No No Naomi - Very Cold and Uncaring front desk person"
11/18/14 RNA1958 Portland oregon
Walked into the Hampton Inn Ukiah after a long day of travel. Nice looking hotel but the person behind the desk, Naomi, seemed bored and put off that I was there checking in. I am a Gold Hilton Honors member and she never acknowledged me as a Hilton Honors member and she never gave me bottled water or any other “goodies”. She gave me my room key, it was a room on the first floor – my profile says that I prefer a top floor and I made the reservation several weeks earlier. I went to the room and it faced a busy street. I came back out and said that room was not acceptable. She didn’t apologize or show any empathy. She told me a list of other rooms which were available so I picked one – it was much better but still on the first floor. Later that night after I had completed my work, I came down for some tea; there was no chamomile tea in the basket so I asked Naomi if there was any Chamomile tea. She barely moved and pointed in the direction of the kitchen and said there is tea in there. I went through the doors where she pointed and entered a dark room using my phone flashlight I found the light switch and found the tea. Wow, this is not the employee you want if you are trying to be successful, she was the worst hotel employee I have ever run across. Too bad, usually Hampton Inn personnel are very hospitable and accommodating.
"Nice place to stay"

This hotel is not far from the highway, also close to good restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is very helpful. Good exercise equipment is available from 6 AM to midnight and a nice hot tub is there.
"They Spoiled Me Last Time"
11/08/14 NovackTravelGuy Memphis, Tennessee
I stayed at the Hampton Inn Ukiah about two years ago for two separate stays, so I was hoping I would receive the "spoiled" treatment I received on the second stay last time. The first week two years ago, I got the ordinary room the first week, but when I checked back in for the second stay, I got the room with the whirlpool tub separate from the bathroom tub and that room included a fireplace. What better life in a Hampton Inn than sitting in the whirlpool and watching TV and the fire in the fireplace. Well, that didn't happen this time. I have been referred to as a "travel snob" and maybe I have to admit they are close to right. I arrived at the hotel on a Tuesday at about 1:00pm hoping I might be able to check in and drop off my bags. That didn't happen. I had e-Checked in, one of the privileges that goes with being Diamond with the Hilton HHonors rewards program. I told the lady at the front desk I didn't have any attachment to that room and would take another if they had it. She told me they didn't have any rooms clean that met my reservation. Okay, the Hilton program has spoiled me with meeting my early check-in needs 95% of the time. I know there are instances, but call me spoiled. The room was your typical Hampton room, but it did have a small patio with a couple chairs and a table, which faced the pool. The pool and hot tub area were nice and appeared well maintained. Rooms on the second and third floors have balconies with the chairs and table, so it is a nicety, particularly with the nice weather while I was there. The hotel is convenient for walking for restaurants and shopping. Not necessarily the most scenic thing around, but there is a Walmart immediately across the street from the hotel. The staff did a good job with the breakfast, and I have to give kudos for the seasoned potatoes, although I only had a couple bites per day. I'm not a fan of the omelets they have, but they did have hard boiled eggs which was a great substitute. Fresh fruit was available, as well as the normal breads and pastries. Good job. Overall, the Hampton Inn Ukiah did a good job. I got over my check-in and room without the whirlpool and fireplace disappointment and the stay was good. If you're going to Anderson Valley, the well kept secret of the new wine country, the Hampton Inn Ukiah will be a very convenient stopping off point. It is also a good rally point for going to Willits, Fort Bragg, or Mendocino, which are all in Mendocino County and the Anderson Valley wineries.
"Great stop before the Avenue of the Giants"
11/06/14 Mustangangi Boulevard, California
Great service, large room, nice view, clean, comfortable, and relaxing visit. Would book again if traveling through the area. Easy access to the middle of Ukiah, so easy to find and get food. Near airport, but no noise as airport is not used much.
"Lost a star"

Lovely location with an amazing restaurant next door...but the hotel wad really quiet and I asked if we could move to a room with a balcony and was told no, we had paid a special price. Didn't even suggest we could pay for an upgrade, felt a bit mean. Plus side is the lovely pool and that they employ people with disability, that was very impressive!

I really enjoy the Hampton Inn Hotels. This is the hotel I try to stay in where ever I go. It is clean, the price is reasonable, and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. There is a microwave and a mini frig in every room too. I am a Hilton Rewards member too so I get points at the Hampton Inn. Try it you will like it!
