    Our room was better than expected. Nice and clean, and really close to our events. Plenty of restaurants close by without a lot of traffic. We only stayed one night, so we didn't really test the service, but all of our needs were anticipated and met. We plan to stay there again next year.

    I haven't stayed at the La Quinta for about 7 years. I was highly impressed with the upgrades to the facilities and accommodations. Nice work!! It looks like a completely different place!! The continental breakfast was also a great spread of food and the dining room was tidy and clean. Thank you!!

    We were a bit reluctant when checking in but we had a fabulous stay here! Beds are SUPER comfortable and the hotel was very quiet! Bedding and pillows also great! We loved haveing out Microwave and fridge too!

    Good location in town, friendly front desk, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! However, the buildings (there are 3 separate) need an update. Pool & hot tub are in different buildings. The gate to get into the pool is rusted & difficult to open with very worn AstroTurf. We actually moved to another hotel closer to City Beach.

    We had a nice quiet stay. The room was clean and the location was next to a park, where they had a farmer's market on Sat. morning. We were able to browse and look around and buy some things we wanted for that day. We liked the hotel very much!

The hotel lobby is on the corner, keep on going (a number of people, including ourselves, walked in circles trying to find the "lobby" two blocks up from what we thought was the parking lot).

    Hotel is decidely vintage, but with very friendly staff. Very quiet between rooms, slight road noise from town traffic. Loved that the room had three mirrors and separate sinks between dressing area and bathroom. Plenty of outlets. Comfortable bed. Hotel is scattered between three buildings over two blocks, some with inside entrances and others with […] outside. Photo looks much newer than actual hotel appears in person.     If you want or need to be in the heart of downtown Sandpoint, this is your hotel. We were attending a Festival at Sandpoint concert and this hotel was within walking distance which was why we chose it. The rooms are not special in any way and in another location and another town you'd probably pay at least 50% less. Because it is right down town, you […] can hear the traffic during the night so if you're a light sleeper you'll have trouble. The continental breakfast wasn't bad. We didn't use the pool or workout facility which may be important to other customers. Overall a fair hotel with a great location that is really overpriced. Read more

    Cozy bed, quiet room - kinda confusing with the lobby in different building, but no problem after we figured it out. Bed and pillows were super comfortable! A little walk to broadwalk and lake, but nice walk. Would stay there again for sure.

    When we checked in the desk clerk commented that were traveling with children and put us in a room 5 doors down from the pool. They were in heaven. The only down side is the A/C unit is a bit load. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    The hotel was a little older, but still well kept and clean. Staff was great. There was an onsite restaurant which was nice. The only complaint I had was that the hotel was right on the freeway into town, which made it easy to find, but it was also very noisy on the highway side of the hotel, even at 6 am.

    Please not that I stayed during a Zero or below zero evening. The room it's self was okay however the door didn't seat properly and snow was blowing in under the door frame. The room it's self was VERY cold and basically uninhabitable without constant heating.

    I am very picky when it comes to hotels. We took two rooms and both were immaculate. The halls were clean. The entrance was clean and inviting. The breakfast room was a wonderful surprise. Large, bright, well laid out. A large assortment of breakfast options and very clean. We were impressed. Would definitely stay here again.
