"Convenience made the stay good"
The staff was very friendly. The room was clean for the most part. The bed was very uncomfortable and for a king bed having only 4 "sofa pillows" was not acceptable. I would suggest getting new mattresses and always bring your own pillow!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
All was good, but really thought there was a Jacuzzi.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a decent hotel. The rooms could use alittle updating. The beds are comfortable. It has a single stall shower which does limit your space. It was difficult to keep shampoo and soap from falling on the floor. The breakfast was OK. I would have enjoyed some scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage. It was a good value for us. The price was right.Genuine Expedia guest review
Second time staying, it is a nice place. Good Breakfast!Genuine Expedia guest review
"decent hotel with free parking for quests."
This hotel is in an awesome location, especially for those looking to go downtown (Its about a block away from three max lines), the Llyod Center Mall or convention center. Mall and convention center are within walking distance. Free parking for guests, which is nice. The front desk staff was great; Jeremiah was our front desk person and he was awesome! The […] hotel is a litte dated, but they do a good job keeping it clean. There is a pool and complimentary breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a very nice place to stay, just across the river from downtown.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Will stay here again!!"
We got this room because it was walking distance to the Rose Quarter where we were attending a concert. The location was amazing!! All maps showed the TriMet Max lines as 1/2 mile away but its much closer than that (we were worried about hauling luggage from the airport but it was so easy). The room was clean and comfy and the fridge and microwave were […] great. This is an older hotel (orginally a La Quinta) but you can tell they take care of it. The office staff were great about recommending places to go and the breakfast was always full and well taken care of (although a little heavy on the carbs and the same thing every day, but we always left feeling full. If we come back, this will be the hotel that we will stay at. Just a hint for those of you needing an elevator-there was only one in the whole hotel and it was across the parking lot from the office. It was fine for us, but I could see it being a problem for those with mobility issues. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"You get what you pay for."
First: Make sure you're on the 2nd floor. There's a parking area under the 1st floor, so the first floor rooms are very cold. It took over 6 hours with the heating unit on high to warm our small room. Had to get extra blankets from the front desk. Second: document your room as soon as you arrive. There were some minor issues that didn't impact our stay, […] but detracted from the image; stains on carpet that still had not been cleaned (strawberry still smashed into the spot), shower drain was a plastic insert and not part of the shower, door would not close all the way and we caught the door ajar twice the evening we arrived while inside the room. These small things could easily be remidied and get a higher rating. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a great little hotel, nothing fancy, but great friendly staff. The room was ready long before check-in time and due to the cold outside; they had turned the heat up in all the rooms so we were able to get into a warm room. The pool was indoor, but it was in its own separate building, so you have to walk outside to go into the pool room; there […] it was slightly heated, but like I said it was cold (in the 20s) the night we stayed. The hotel is close to Lloyd Center and the MAX line so you don't really need a car once you get to the hotel. Would definitely stay there again, but I'll wait until its a bit warmer out. We stayed one night to make a quick trip down to a trailblazers game. We could walk to the arena because of the great location. The staff was great and the room was clean. However, the facilities themselves are clearly outdated. For the what we needed, this was just fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very close to the PDX rail"
We got what we paid for. You could hear the street noise, your next door neighbor, whoever's staying upstairs. But the front desk staff was nice, so that made up what's lacking. The wifi is pretty weak where we're at.Genuine Expedia guest review
The bed was super comfortable!Genuine Expedia guest review
Pleasantly surprised at the value of this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for trip to the RoseGarden (ModaCenter)"
We went up for a Trail Blazers game and the motel was perfect for that. Ample parking, 5 minute walk to the game. The rooms were fine, cleaner than I would have expected for this level of place. The staff was very accommodating. There was a decent pool but no hot tub. The weakest thing was the free breakfast. Pretty poor, but wasn't what we stayed for […] anyway. Will definitely stay here next time! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Room and section had bad moldy smell. Had to wash all clothing even if it was never removed from bag. Staff in morning didn't seem concerned.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Anaversary At Harvey's Comedy Club and Quality Inn"
Bathroom fan sounds like it could use a new life. The shower and tub could use a little bit more room but other than that it was a pretty nice hotel. We did get to sleep and breakfast was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is a good value if you get a room for under $100. Centrally located with plenty of food choices close by.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"good enough for our trip"
Hotel was close to a couple of restaurants, less than 100 yards. Beds were too soft for our liking, and the heater took some adjusting to get used to it. Breakfast was good and the man who worked in breakfast area was great. Always helping and keeping things clean and filled. All in all, not bad for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the Convention Center, convient location"
Nice hotel, very convient location. Easy to walk many places, and the streetcar runs by right outside.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Location near Convention Center"
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Close to convention center and Rose Garden. Have stayed there frequently while wife taking continuing education classes for her business. Place is kept clean. Reasonably priced Cons: Old. Rooms need updating. My bed was old and needed replacing.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Overpriced - Noisy - Unaccommodating"
I recently stayed at this hotel and for the money I spent I should have saved the money and stayed at an "Econolodge" or other motel-like accommodation. The rooms were clean and they had cable TV with free parking within walking distance to my concert I was going to see ... but the pros (for me) stopped there. The front desk was nice enough but when […] I called the front desk at around 1145pm it rang and rang without notice. However, the reason I called was for advice or help with the overall noise from the street and other rooms. The sound dampening/insulation in that hotel is terrible. I could hear almost every footstep upstairs and I could hear my neighbors in the next room at 7-8am like they were in my room. I did not get a full night sleep, that is for sure. The bed is also a bit too soft and they don't have any variety of pillows (hard, soft, medium). The room is also very small for a "hotel" chain. The entire building is quite old and the hallways are musty. Again, the rooms were clean but you get barebone everything. Not a good first experience for the "Quality Inn" and I will probably not try them again unless I am unfortunately pigeon-holed into staying again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I used to stay at this property over 10 years ago when it was La Quinta. It has gone downhill since quality bought it. Really doesn't seem like much was updated. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and aren't too worried about your vehicle being prowled. Go For it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Portland Quality Inn Downtown"
Loved it..... Affordable, convenient, staff was amicable, compared to same level of hotels in the area the cost was apropos.........Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed at this hotel for a conference and from the beginning it was a discouraging experience. The hotel staff that checked us in (a man) was rude and unhelpful. If we could have switched hotels we would have that day. Overall, the facilities were not horrible, just old, outdated, and a little worn down. I will not be returning to this hotel, even […] though it does have a central location in downtown Portland. Also, we placed the "do not disturb" sign on our door, but housekeeping came in anyway. At checkout however, the woman we spoke with (a hotel staff member) was polite. It just couldn't make up for the experience as a whole. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I thought being close to the beautiful convention center amid other higher end hotels, that it would be a good choice, not wanting to spend too much for just an overnight to go to a seminar early the next day. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for"! I was tired driving in and didn't realize what a dump it was until I checked in and realized […] I had already paid in full. The web photos, of course, made it look a thousand percent better than the reality. I was looking forward to a nice swim after my long drive. The pool was seedy at best. No way was I going in that water. The halls were smelly, the carpets stained. I thought I was in a bad B movie at the motel where the criminals were holed up. The only positive thing to be noted was that the gentleman at the front desk was very professional and courteous. The Courtyard next door, and a few dollars more, would have been a much better choice. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"great location but beds were way to soft."
Great location and great breakfast that is all I have to sayGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is fairly old and a little stale smelling, but clean in the rooms. The beds could be replaced, matress is too soft. Staff is friendly. The location was perfect for our group. The free parking is a plus and the free breakfast was good. Hotel staff kept the dining area very clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Value, Good Location"
Great hotel if you're on a budget, or if you'd rather spend money elsewhere (like on the wonderful food of Portland, or at the convention center). Bonus: decent continental breakfast included. The building is older with worn carpet in the stairwells, but it's clean and neat where it counts: comfortable, clean beds, nice size room and bathroom area (I […] stayed in a very pricey downtown Atlanta hotel which had far less bathroom counter space). A short walk to the convention center, only 2 blocks to the Max line--very easy ride into downtown Portland. The hotel is right on the bus line on MLK and the streetcar line to the north and southside neighborhoods. The Lloyd Center mall and restaurants are all within walking distance, Starbucks and other food across the street. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Second time I've stayed here for a quick weekend in Portland, and we really enjoyed it again. Staff is so friendly, nice location close to downtown, beds are super comfy, excellent breakfast...can't say enough nice things about this great place!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient hotel near to Oregon convention center"
Kind and friend staff, but the room space of two queen beds is a little bit tight.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Central, Soft Beds"
Got the room for under $100. Liked the central location, close to Max, Lloyd Center, lots of eateries and other hotels. We slept well, despite the sound of other hotel patrons doors closing. Pretty thin walls. Breakfast was standard.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient and where we needed to be"
Could have done without the tax! Otherwise friendly, clean and safe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Portland, but not the cheapest by any stretch. This was a last minute trip for a funeral or we never would have paid so much for this awful dive. The staff were not accomodating, the room smelled so strongly of bug spray and urine that I couldn't sleep, there was mold growing in the bathroom, and the wi-fi […] kept cutting out. Not to mention how noisy it was (and I'm not generally bothered by noise). Don't stay here. Stay in Vancouver or Beaverton, if you have to but don't stay here. "Decent Price and Close to Transportation"
The whole experience was just...ok. Nothing over the top yet definitely not the worst place I've ever stayed. The room was very clean as was the general property, but it lacked character. There were hardly any decorations in the room, an awkwardly placed mirror, no bathtub, just a crammed shower.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and convenient place to stay."
Driving in from San Francisco, we just needed a place to crash for the night since we were continuing to Seattle the next day. The check in process was a breeze with our 30 lb poodle- paid an extra $11 pet fee which was reasonable. Our room was a double queen and it smelled a little funny just because it's an older building, but nothing unusual. The […] bathroom was clean and having a fridge and microwave was nice too. Beds were comfortable with REAL comforters and clean sheets. In the morning we had the free breakfast, which was simple but complete with waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, hot biscuits w/ gravy, donuts, muffins, etc. Check out was also easy. The location was great- easy to get on the freeway and close to downtown. I will definitely book this place again the next time I'm in Portland! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Was average in condition of the hotel and its appearance. Comfortable room and good breakfast provided. The housekeeping service was good at providing towels but they forgot to make the bed!! Called it to their attention but they really didn't do anything about it but apologize. Close to public transportation, a few restaurants and a large shopping […] plaza was a few blocks away. "good stay - but"
If you have an ENTER-gize thermostat in your room pay attention to how it functions. It can be reprogrammed by the staff to work properly, but we didn't complain as we should have done when we first noticed the problem: The air conditioner would start up for one minute, then shut down and "default" to 74 degrees. We were busy and didn't suffer much […] from this, so it was OK. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall great hotel"
The interior of the hotel was very clean. Friendly staff, one of the better free breakfasts I've had, and conveniently located! Plus, a very nice indoor pool!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the convention center, but smells bad"
The hotel has a convenient location if you need to attend a conference at the convention center, however the facilities were less than ideal. The hallways had a strange smell, and the gym consisted of three machines, one of which was broken. The room was comfortable, but smelled of cigarettes. There were also a few long hairs in the towels and the sheets. […] The sheets and towels were clean, so I assume the hairs just came from the maid while cleaning the room. We've used the Quality Inn Convention Center a couple of times now. It is in a great location, Walking distance (for us) from downtown Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Free breakfast, free WiFi, clean rooms, and friendly staff. I had trouble getting the AC to stay on overnight. I probably could have asked how to set it properly, but it didn't bother me enough to do so.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The overall rating won't let me rate below 3. 2-3!"
Smelled bad. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. bathroom was as big as a portapottie. Definitely not worth $100+ per night!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great if you're seeing a show at the rose quarter"
We needed a quick place to stay while seeing a show at the rose quarter. While the hotel was nothing to write home about, the hotel was close to the venue, the AC worked wonderfully and the beds were comfy. I personally thought the price was a little high for what we got, but it fit all of our needs at the time.Genuine Expedia guest review
