We are photographers and just needed a place to stay somewhat close to Dripping Springs where we were shooting a wedding. This was the only affordable decent looking hotel around. I needed a quick place to stay, and this hotel did exactly that. But I wasn't impressed when it came to cleanliness.. The cleaning service only happens once a week, they don't keep up with shampoo and bathroom essentials, and it's just hard to feel like you're in a clean room, when it feels like a motel 8. I also wasnt impressed with some of the staff, […] they were rude, and inconsiderate. One guy seemed too full of himself, and I couldn't stand him from the second I saw him. But there is this one lady, Heather, who works at night, who is just a wonderful person. The rest of the staff wasnt accommodating, and I just felt like I was in a super cheap place. Nice place. A little hard to get to, not becauswe of location, but convoluted Texas traffic system of fly-over ramps, one-way rontage roads etc. Staff was friendly, especially the mamager.

No hair dryers in room. The free breakfast is set up on a small table in a small area of a small entry way. Grab and go. Coffee and pre-package muffin. Well, the location was our biggest problem. I had a lot of trouble locating the hotel even with a GPS. The young man at the front desk wasn't the friendliest when we arrived and complained a lot. Our bed was concave in the middle and the pillows were horrible. I don't think on our return visits to Austin that we will be staying at this hotel.

It was interesting. It was the first time I stayed at an extended stay anything. It took a little getting used to, no shampoo/products and room not being made AND for 3 days that was just fine. I would definitely do it again.

The Hotel is just fine...However...the signage and directions on how to get there are very difficult...there is virtually no signage and with the road design in Austin it is very difficult to locate.....James and Lisa were both great...very fun and accomodating... :-)

When we arrived the staff told us they did not have a room for us. We had reserved a room with two beds and the room they had for us only had one bed. Luckily they were able to find us a room and then didn't charge us more. After the initial confusion, all went well.

The beds were very flat and uncomfortable and price of hotel should have been lower with the way the condition was. Picked the hotel due to the positive and good rating it had. However it was not up to good standard. No bugs which was a plus but would not stay there again.

Rooms have been upgraded, but the floor was dirty and had not been vacuumed. However, this was late Christmas eve and the room was very inexpensive, so I dealt with it. Also, the beds were great and very comfy.

We read the previous reviews on this hotel. They were not very good. The hotel has addressed and corrected all the negative comments, save one. First, the hotel has a mini-breakfast service from 6:00 to 9:30 am. No pancakes - but I don't want pancakes, so it was fine. Second, the room was immaculate. Went with a couple of friends for a weekend getaway and we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and nice this hotel was, despite the budget price. The room was nice sized, the beds comfy, and the kitchetette inside the room was perfect for reheating meals and shaking up cocktails. In the am I called front desk because I had slept in from jet lag at 10:30 (checkout at 11) and asked if I could get a late checkout. The lady said" NO I have to book that room! this is a no-frills place. It was great to have a small kitchen with full size fridge, microwave and 2 burner stove top range. The bed was adequate. The AC was adequate.It was close to everything we needed except public transport.You must have a car if you stay here.

The hotel was very conveniently located for the area we wanted to visit. I was extremely disturbed to find a live HUGE roach on the bathroom counter when we arrived. During the night the kitchen sink started dripping and the refrigerator had a large puddle of water on the bottom shelf. The carpet had some obvious stains also.

Clean hotel. Rock hard bed. During checkout, they tried to charge me for the room, even though I had already paid via hotels dot com. Another guest had the same problem.
