I have never stayed in a Howard Johnson hotel, so this was my first time. It was hard to get into the parking lot, the roads werent clearly marked. I ended up driving through a companies back yard road to get to the road that opened up to the Howard Johnson hotel parking lot. When I got into the lobby, it was fine, but the moment I opened my hotel room […] door, I was flooded with a smell very close to cat pee. The bathroom was dirty, and the seat was up like someone had been there, and used the toilet. There was a "coarse" hair on the toilet seat as I put the seat down, and the area behind the seat on the bowl had debri on it like it had not even been cleaned. All night as I tossed and turned on the ricketty bed, all I could smell was cat pee. I woke up the next morning feeling very dirty, but even with that feeling, I didn't want to take a shower there. This was by far the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in!! The room price was very cheap, so the term "You get what you paid for" really rings true here. Read more

I have stayed at this hotel on several other occasions and have been satisfied that it was a decent stay at a very good price. This time I was disappointed in the desk staff and the condition of this room. Just a little downward trend but I will consider staying here again because past stays have been better.

The room itself was very small but quaint. Everything was very compact but conviient The bed is very comfortable but bring an extra pillow as theirs are flat. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was very simple....coffee, juice, Danish , toast, ceral, apples. Very close to i10 casinos and shopping.

Wife and I enjoyed the room and the price while visiting Biloxi for a concert. The room was fine; however, there was a little smell. May have been from previous guest smoking even though this was a non-smoking room. Overall, I'd give this place a good rating and the price was great.

Good room for a simple, quick, overnight stay. The rain kept us from visiting the pool so we went shopping. Many shopping centers just right down the Interstate. Room was clean, staff was friendly. The breakfast was very small.

The beds were comfortable, and the AC really cooled the room. There was a stain on one of the bed's comforters. It was replaced. We were told that it was clean, but the stain wouldn't come out. Well...maybe it's time to retire that comforter. Ya think? Also saw a hair in sink and shower. Ugh! They looked clean, but no one wants to see that.

We enjoyed our stay with both of the Howard Johnson that we visited. We stayed for two days in Biloxi and one day in Tallahassee. We enjoyed our stay with Howard Johnson more than we enjoyed our three day stay at "M" in New Orleans. The room was neat and clean. The continental breakfast was fine. Some reviews said it was terrible. If you want a full breakfast, Denny's is right across the street.
