Greeted warmly by the front desk person who was extremely pleasant and professional. Check-in took under 3 minutes. Hotel appearance was very nice and the locked front lobby door after hours added extra sense of security. Room was extremely clean. Heating/cooling system and its fan are fairly weak. The beds were super uncomfortable. The noise level was high. I stayed at a best western for half the price with a far better room the night before. Not impressed. Not enough parking either. Had to park below at Carabbas and walk up to it. But it is in a good location.

Everything was fine for the most part, but it bugged me that these are listed as suites when they are pretty marginal. Unlike many other suites, there is no separate door for the bedroom from the 2nd sleeping area. Additionally, the room is so small that once you open up the pull-out bed, there is no longer room to get from the bedroom to the front […] door. The sink drained very slowly which was frustrating when you're in a hurry to wash up, brush teeth etc. And the shower curtain was way too long for the tub, and a person could easily trip on it in the tub while showering. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was excellent although crowded. The location was convenient to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. The only draw-back had to do with the sleeper sofa. There were six of us in total so we had to use the sleeper sofa. This hotel is tucked away from a main road but is very near shopping (mall) and a few restaurants. There's a Carrabba's right next door, which is not where you should be eating if you're in Asheville, but it works in a pinch.
