Our hotel stay was an enjoyable one but I suggest that you get some room service(food) in the future or build a restaurant in the lobby area.

It is a older motel but beds comfy..room clean...that is all I really need. I don't come to Corpus to stay in a room all day :-))

I enjoyed my stay overnite. Did not liked the change of room for the reason of having no working phone iin that room. Breakfast hour should be at 10:00AM.
Location.
Situated in the heart of Corpus Christi, Econo Lodge And Suites is close to Whataburger Field, Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, and Art Museum of South Texas. Also nearby are Museum of Asian Cultures and Harbor Playhouse Theater.
Hotel Features.
Econo Lodge And Suites has an outdoor pool and a fitness facility. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. There is a business center on site. "Bath"
They toilet was not attched to the floor so when you sat on it it rocked, the beds were comfy, the neighborhood was a little rough looking.
"Dog Hair"
The front desk worker was very nice, but the room was a mess. It looked as though they let a black dog roll around in my bed before I checked in, there was so much hair. "OK, for the price"
PROS: Very reasonable rates. The room was clean and the A/C worked. Employees in the office were, for the most part, very pleasant and quite obliging. "Great hotel for the price"
I stayed at this hotel a month before and came back because the price was reasonable for what you got and the location. The previous room I stayed in was a double bed smoking on the 2nd floor and it was a little on the dingy side. "Good for Sleeping"
Room was clean but the A/C was not working well. It took more than 2 hours to cool and even when it did the room felt humid. Breakfast was ok if you like bitter coffee, muffins, cereal, juice and waffles. Overall it was ok but we probably will not stay there next time unless I can't find a room anywhere else.

This price was high due to it being a holiday weekend, but the hotel wasn't quite what I expected. It's a little inconvenient to get to and there was rust stains and roaches in the bathroom. "Pleasant"
Nice, very attentive, quick service. Clean rooms and location. Did not have the biggest pool but overall it was very pleasant and had hard working employees. Would stay here again. No roaches or bugs.
"Budget Hotel"
Rates were a bit high in the overall area (i.e. city) as opposed to other cities i've visited in last 2 weeks. It appears that Corpus Christi is taking advantage of tourist trade. My trip was business. Room needed maintenance, but staff promptly attended to it.

The a/c in the room was not on, therefore it was very hot when we entered the room. The room had a very bad smell. It did not smell fresh at all! The curtains did not shut all the way.
