Very nice, lovely but expected a more rural area, more open space.

"Not bad considering that is it cheap"
If you're used to places like Radisson and Hyatt, this place won't do. But if what you need is cheap (like me), then it's quite good in a couple of ways. 1) The owner, Mr. Patel, is very nice and tries hard. 2) The rates are almost the cheapest around. Unfortunately, it does cater to a lower class clientele due to the price and it is old. The bathroom […] fixtures are old, the flooring creaks, that type of thing. Terrible - I don't recommend it to anyone.
This hotel is our favorite in the area. My wife and I travel to Reading for an event at Maple Grove Raceway at least 8 times a year. We have tried other hotels that are closer or cheaper and have always come back to the Red Carpet. It's close to everything (Dairy Queen, Dunkin' Donuts, Walmart, Sonic). There is ALWAYS hot water, which is a requirement […] from my wife. The only thing is that it's an old motel, but we only need it to sleep and shower. Read more
