My partner and I stayed in the Knights Inn because it was conveniently located off of the highway. Our expectations were not high, as we realized that it was a very affordable hotel option, so we anticipated that you get what you pay for. There was hair on the bathroom shower walls before we even took showers and what looked like a blood stain on one of the other bathroom walls. The carpet had not been vacuumed as far as I could tell, and there was a general sense of disrepair in the room (and the toilet water refilled continuously all night long). My overall feeling was that the owners had not invested a lot of time or money in the maintenance of the place, which is why, I suppose, they could never charge more than what they do to stay there per night. The young lady that stayed with us who took a shower in the morning said the water was REALLY, REALLY HOT and could not adjust the temperature.

Terrible is the only way to sum up the stay. It started with being ignored for 15 minutes at the front desk because the desk clerk was interrupted by the owner over some non-guest issue. Then the room. IT STINKS. Do not rent room 143. The bathroom was a poor attempt of hanging cheap white Masonite board on the walls. The holes for the shower and faucets […] were not even trimmed tight and insects were crawling through those holes. The gaps were trim and base board was supposed to be was globs of white moldy silicone. Then to top it off when I killed the bugs in the tub and took my shower -- I grab a bath towel off the rack and it has big brown stains on it like someone wiped their rear with it. DISGUSTING! Then we tried to leave at 6:00AM and couldn't get anyone to answer the walk up window as the lobby was locked -- even though the night clerk told us the breakfast should be going by 6:00 (it was listed as 7:00, still she said, "someone should be here with coffee on"). I shoved the key in the pass through window, as I had prepaid and left. I will be back for the same event in Springfield, OH next year. THERE IS NOTHING ANYONE CAN DO TO MAKE ME STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN! We spent exactly 7 1/2 hours there and it felt like a week of suffering. What you read on other reviews about the train? Yeah it goes through at 3:20AM Saturday mornings. The walls are so thin you can not sleep if a guest in the next room flushes the toilet. Read more

We were looking for hot water and clean sheets and that's what we got. It's a good place to take a shower and get some sleep. Not good if you are a light sleeper b/c it is next to a railroad track.

Old hotel, information in room still lists a pool which appears to have been covered up for quite some time and is now part of the parking lot. Very dated, but clean and cheap. Workers very nice. It was close to places I needed to get to.

Apparently they are rehabbing on a shoe string. Obvious amateurish wall patching, but nicely re-grouted bath tile. Doors badly in need of paint or better replaced, but comfortable bed and clean linens.

This is your normal "motel" and place to sleep. Ig you a not picky this place will do for a t nights stay. We were told there was a "kitchenete" in the room but it was just a refrigerator. Towels were very fluffy and yest they gave us clean ones but did not staright anything up for the or next night.

Lobby was pretty clean and didn't smell horrible but is kind of run down and didn't smell good. They are still using room keys. Room was pretty clean but run down. Everything work but seemed to be on its last leg. Won't do that again.
