This place is great if you are on a tight budget and your stay has been extended longer than expected. It is a definite budget saver and the rooms are clean and updated. It is no frills and you will not find a coffee pot, bath lotions or a counter height refrigerator; but it has all you need and a decent mattress. Parking was a bit difficult finding a place next to the outdoor access room during a snow fall. The location is okay with nearby restaurants in Southgate on Eureka and Home Depot, Bob's Big Bob, Gibralter Trade Center next door. This place has easy freeway access in an industrial zone of the city. Nothing fancy but a good value and clean.

Overall it was a clean and comfortable place to spend the night. Clarissa, at the front desk, was most friendly and exceeded our expectations on being checked in. Downside was the pools were not working and those were a main reason we selected this hotel on our route.

Comfortable enough but the sheets needed to be ironed otherwise they appeared to be not cleaned. Found a few bobby pins on the floor which suggested it had not been vacuumed properly. Great price.

Motel need to have room face lift and a real in depth cleaning. The room smelled bad when first entered. Carpet was not vaccumed could see dirt on floor. Air conditioner filter was cover in 1/4 inch of dirt an lent had to wash out so it get air flow in room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Never Again"
We booked our room because it listed a King Room that allowed smoking. Sadly, when we arrived, we were told that State Law prohibited smoking in any hotel room. Had we known, we could have stayed with the rest of our group in the property across the street for a comparable rate. "A Bit Run Down"
1. Extreme musty smell (obviously not used recently) was not cigarette odor. 2. Textured Ceiling in bathroom - 6 inch square had peeling paint hanging down. 3. Coffee pot didn't look very clean probably because of item 1 above. 4. Not impressed with the coffee packet in room, dumped the pot after one sip; but coffee at office was very good, orange juice […] was fine. 5. Not able to rate breakfast since it is all gluten products, my wife and I are gluten intolerant but was aware of the issue before scheduling the room. 6. Some large pot holes in driveway 7, The staff was friendly and efficient on check in and check out. 8. Towel rack was falling out of wall in bath area. 9. The price was exceptional - wouldn't have stayed more than 1 night though. 10. I missed the color scheme of the hotel from the 80's 11. When I had difficuty with my reservation I received very good assistance even though I had troble with my credit card they help me reslove it. The room was clean but. the frig. needed defrosting. "A dollar well spent"
