Stay was great...room very nice...breakfast buffet was a good quick start to your day....although sit down eating area was a bit to small. Location close to Venice Beach and great location for driving to other Los Angeles fun.

I was kind of iffy on staying at a Super 8 because Ive seen a lot in very poor condition. But not this place! It was very clean, rooms were really nice, big parking lot, free breakfast. I had a great stay and wouldnt mind going again.

The hotel was fantastic! Everything I needed was within a 10 min drive. Vons super market, Rite-Aid pharmacy, Laundry, resturants. There is even a Open Grill Resturant accross the street. We took our children to the area for Spring Break, the room had lots of space, very clean outside. Breakfast was good also, we would definitely stay again. The only problem was that I assumed the pool would be open, I did not see anything on website about it being seasonal.

I booked this room through Hotels.com. I went with my gf and my brother, it was our first time to california. We got a great deal through the website. We are shocked on how huge the room was. I was surprised at the level that the managers kept up this budget hotel. Rooms were spotless and had large flat-screen TVs. Even the shower curtains were updated. The breakfast area is a sunroom with a decent choice of edibles.

The hotel was very nice and clean, service was excellent. Unfortunately at about 3am a woman began screaming outside our door - we called front desk who then called police and the matter was taken care of. I am sure this is not a regular occurrence but really ruined our stay there.

I booked this hotel based on advice from my traveling partner and the reviews I read online. I have never stayed at a Super 8 and usually stay at much pricier places. Thus I arrived a skeptic and left a believer in the Super 8 idea! We stayed in a spacious, very clean room. The hotel was very quiet at night. Breakfast was minimal, but no big deal. While […] we were there, the other guests were mainly European travelers. The location is on the edge of gritty, urban LA. However, a few blocks west along Washington and the neighborhood changes for the better. Lots of restaurants- about a 15-20 minute Saturday morning drive to Santa Monica and the beaches. It's not a place to linger, more a place to call a starting/ending point after busy days and nights. I left feeling I have found a cool little inexpensive place for a weekend in LA. Read more

Especially noteworthy are office staff, very helpful in a variety of ways. I also like the layout of the motel which is perpendicular to the street and therefore as the rooms recede toward the back proximity to the street lessens.

We were traveling on a budget and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, even offering to print out directions for us. There was free wi-fi internet, free parking, and a free breakfast. There was ample parking, in a safe lot, even at 2am. The breakfast was a great start to the day (included cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt, […] oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, apple and orange juice). Keep in mind that you would never get ANY of these freebies from a 4* hotel!! The rooms had obviously been renovated (apart from the bathroom) and were of a much higher standard than any other 2* budget motel. They even had unique decor. The room also included a fridge and microwave - handy. The location of the hotel was great - easy access to the highway, and plenty of places to eat around Culver City. Overall, the hotel was quiet, safe, clean, friendly, convenient, and affordable! My only suggestions for the hotel manager would be that the bathrooms need renovating at some point in the future, and it would have been nice to have one (simple) hot option in the breakfast buffet. well, it's a motel. Pool is between rooms and parking area. No trees or bushes at all. Room was clean but looks a little bit worn out. Beds were too small for me and my child.

We stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding. Location is most important to us since we do a lot of sight seeing. It was quiet and calm area. There is a lack of public transportation and the highways are a mess but that is a city issue. There is a bus stop across the hotel that can take you straight to Venice beach (line 1). We had to drive to all […] our destinations including Disney, Universal, and Malibu but highway access was good and almost direct so we avoided a lot of stress. The room was always clean and we never had any concerns to address the whole stay (1 week). Hotel suited our needs free parking and breakfast included. The wifi worked at times. Plus it was about two miles from Venice Beach. Not far from Santa Monica Beach. Laundry facilities near by and a .99 cent store within walking distance.

This hotel far surpassed my expectations. The room was clean and the service was great. With its location to the highway it made it super easy to get anywhere. There was also public transportation a block away. The Super 8 not only offered a great clean atmosphere in my price range but amazing location to all of the things and places I wanted to see […] while visiting LA. They offered free parking and the I felt the car was safe in their lot the neighborhood was not bad either. One of the days during my stay I had to take the bus and it was very easy to use and figure out. The free breakfast was not the best however there was a grocery store 2 blocks away and the room had a microwave and refrigerator, so we just got a few things to match the cereal they offered. Room is clean, but the sink is separate from the bathroom which is not convenient. Air condition is very noisy. Neighborhood is not good, hard to find a good restaurant nearby. Overall if you just stay for one night, this hotel is okay.
