Pros: Great location. Good breakfast. Newly refurbished room. Good service at the front desk. Cons: Frowzy smell in the corridor and the bathroom. Minimalistic room facilities. The room was rather small for a **** hotel.

Great location (5 minute walk to Gamla Stan) and great staff at the front desk and in the restaurant and bar. One minor complaint: the housekeeping staff was not attentive to emptying trash or refilling the mini bar; I had to request both more than once.

Totally disapointed by this hotel, because they have a discobar were the music was so loud and incredibly strong that we couldn't sleep until 3 o´clock in the morning, having rooms at the first floor,directly on the bar. We payed for two nights two executive rooms.Unfortunately, all the rooms at all floors (1-4) are possible executive room so the only […] difference is the access at the executive lounge, were at 6 pm was full of people and you couldn't find a place.But more important, they gave us rooms at the first floor, even that I asked for a superior floor, like all the normal executive rooms.They knew that the rooms are imediately over the bar but it didn´t count so it was a nightmare .In the morning they told us that they could change the rooms and why we didn't ask for but at midnight (after a long driving trip) we were so tired that we didn't feel able to wake up and take all the luggage to another room (like we did the next day) and we hoped that the music will stop in any minute (could't believe it is possible to have such noisy music in the center of a town like Stockholm). Location is the key seller. The frintdesk staff does not even know the location of the rooms and sent us on wild search for our room after we have been in the road for almost 16 hrs. Not the most pleasant of things. Breakfast was good.

The Hilton Stockholm Slussen is conveniently located a minute walk from the bridge to Gamla Stan. The staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful. A little disappointed in what passes for 5 star, but definitely a nice hotel in a nice location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The biggest disappointment was the hallway decor...looked like it was unfinished. The room was small but stylish. Booked it at a 40% discount. Wouldn't book it at full price.

I had a room on the fourth floor of the general room selection and it was AMAZING. I had the most incredible view of Gamla Stan, the old city of Stockholm. The room and bathroom were incredible...soft downy comforter, a big screen TV, a minibar, and a marble bathroom. And as a huge fan of Stieg Larsson's Millennium series, I got a bit of a kick out […] of staying in a hotel where the fictional Blomkvist and Berger stayed. Not to mention, you're right next to Gögatan where the headquarters of Millennium are located in the book series. So, if you're also a Larsson fan, this location is an added bonus. The hotel could not be better located. You can walk to Gamla Stan in less than ten minutes, you can take a boat from Slussen to the archipelago, and you can hop on the Tunnelbana and be anywhere in twenty minutes, even the last stop on a line. Amazing food in the area: very near the restaurant Kvarnen, which was a haunt of Lisbeth Salander from the Larsson books. The hotel has an included breakfast and it's one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. Black out curtains for when it doesn't get dark at night (the sun doesn't set till 11 PM in the summer...and then it rises 3 hours later...). Free wifi. I can go on and on...and I would absolutely stay here again! 10/10. Read more

The location is excellent and the breakfast buffet was truly exceptional. Our room was not bad and had a nice view - it was just very dated and the carpet needed to be replaced. Situated just next to the Slussen tunnelbana station, it is very easy to get to places from here. Also the old town is just a walk away. Right next to the hotel is also Kolingsborg nightclub, I recommend.

A bit of a walk from the front door to the room (go to reception desk, down the stairs, through an underground hallway, and then back up elevators into the adjacent towr), but not unreasonable by European standards. Excellent location, only few steps away from Slussen metro and Gamla Stan. Hotel restaurant has great view of the river and Stockholm old town. First 2 nights we were given a much smaller room in the back building. After reading reviews, the last night we requested to stay in the main building and was given a bigger room with complimentary coffee/tea. […] We did ask the concierge if we could go to hotel bar lounge at the top floor to enjoy the beautiful view of the city and to get a drink. We were told it was only reserved for executive room customers. When asked if any other place we could enjoy the city view, he suggested us to go to either the Gondola or a different hotel top floor to enjoy the view. We thought it was a bit strange that Hilton has such an advantage location but unfortunately the lounge access is only accessible to the exclusive customers. Breakfast is great and comprehensive. Great Value for the money. Stockholm is one of the easiest cities to get around in, and this is a great hotel if you want to stay in a nice location but not right in the middle of the old town. Near everything you would possibly want to do (or near the way to get there).

This is really not a 4 star hotel. Our room was tiny, hardly any bigger than the bed, with nowhere to sit apart from on the bed. The bathroom smelled like a train toilet. This was so bad that we had to leave the bathroom window open overnight in minus 7 degrees! We had to carry our bags down steep stairs from reception to get to the lift to the room. […] There was another lift opposite reception which led me to suspect that other, maybe better rooms were available, which maybe accounts for the diverse reviews. The gym was functional at best and the sauna was a tiny corner of the changing room with room for 1 person. Staff were pleasant and friendly as is everyone in this lovely city. Hilton Slussen is very nice and also overlooks the old city so in a good spot. The rooms are great, the breakfast fantastic and you also have access to a real gym. The only issue is the price level on weekdays, toooo expensive. during weekends you can however find excellent deals.
