Clean and in the middle of the city sites. Nice rooms well appointed and very comfortable. Nice resturants within walking distance. The central market is also very close. Park across the street was nice. Parking a couple blocks away was a inconvenience but was ok. Overall a very good experience

Great location in the middle of Adelaide. Close to many restaurants and shops and not very far from the airport. Self parking is a garage about 2 blocks away. Not too bad, but you should drop your bags off before going to park if you are driving. Free self serve laundry available on site.

Pros: I liked that our room had a kitchen and the location was perfect. The tram stop was just out the door and the buses were easy to get to. The market, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance but the pros stop there. Cons: Not only were all of the carpets and peices of furniture badly stained but the hotel staff was extreemly rude […] and they charged for everything. Rarely did the staff even lift thier heads to acknowledge us as we walked by the front desk and the hotel charged us $1.10 to make local calls. The internet as $12.50 per hour, yes per hour. The bed was supposed to be a king but it was two twins pushed together, I almost slept on the sofa because it was so uncomfortable. Also the restaurant and bar were rarely open and even when they were the staff was not welcoming. Overall, I really enjoyed the location but would have preferred a different hotel. There is a Hilton just down the road. If you dont need to be in the city I would try and find a place in Glenelg. However, the city is just a short tram away from a great beach town. Read more

This beautifully restored historical Treasury Building is in a very central city location. It is a sprawling complex with comfy large elegant rooms with all mod cons including kitchenette. Very quiet atmosphere, friendly and obliging staff, small gym and heated lap pool. This is my preferred stay in Adelaide and would highly recommend it.

Ideally situated on Victoria Square, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The room was impeccable, with a full kitchen. Couldn't fault the accommodation. Staff were helpful but maybe a bit impatient with a couple of early stay queries. We absolutely recommend staying in this hotel. We are a young family of five and we stayed in a two bedroom apartment for four nights. I would also recommend this hotel to business travellers. It is in an absolutely gorgeous building with big rooms, high ceilings and comfy beds. It is well located and we were able to walk everywhere. The staff at the front desk were amazing, I arrived and dumped my bags with reception without checking in. A beautiful building but we were given a front room - the lack of traffic in Adelaide meant it wasn't much of an issue - but every step the person above took set the large ceiling vent in the main bedroom rattling at a surprisingly loud level - we ended up sleeping on the one lounge and floor as it was SO unpleasant in the room. Everything very good about this hotel except that the baths are very badly designed: a rigid shower screen means you have to step into the bath to put in the plug; as the tap is in the middle of the bath you have to be ultra careful with the temperature control or you burn your legs; getting out of the bath for the elderly is extremely difficult as […] there is no rail down the length of the bath. Nice hotel, great location and helpful staff. Some people complain about the parking being in a different area (one block away) for $14 a day. I just parked on the street of the hotel for free. Its a safe area that's very quiet with free parking during the weekends.

Very comfortable and roomy apartment right in the middle of Adelaide. The staff were friendly but unobtrusive which was prefect. The only small irritation was a failure by the housekeeper to replace our bathroom towels and bathmat one day but that was quickly remedied.

The hotel is impressive and has great facilities, but the one bedrom apartment we had was not that clean. Stains on the sofa, kitchen sink sticky not fresh and clean, grout in the bathroomn discolored and orange in places. Night porter was very helpful. It was nice and quiet the room we had for being in the centre of town.

If you're wanting a relaxing, quiet holiday in a nice hotel than don't come here. They had wedding functions and party goers in their bar/restaurant most nights and didn't care at all about the noise for the paying guests. The beds were hard, pillows flat and service counter staff were more interested in looking at their screens then serving. The Hotel is located in the heart of the city block. The free tram runs up King William St and takes you the 2 blocks to the railway, casino, conference venues. Wonderfully located, quiet, with our room facing the internal large courtyard. Quite historic with old passageways under the building, but nicely renovated keeping the character of the old treasury […] building. We could adjust our own air conditioning, and were also able to sleep at night with open windows and not hear any traffic noise. No nightclubs nearby either, nice area. On check in my wife and I were disappointed we were allocated a ground floor room and since we never like ground floor we asked for a higher level room (only 2 other levels). The receptionist was very obliging and cheerfully satisfied our request. Many ground floor rooms are right on the footpath and not very private with the curtains open. We were […] very pleasantly surprised to get an outstanding room with separate bedroom, quite large, beautifully restored and well appointed. The bedroom in particular was of historic significance and the room even provided a description of this significance. Don't miss a viewing of the the Cabinet Room or the underground tunnels. All staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel is well positioned for transport, shops and restaurants and is also very quiet, then again, coming from Sydney, Adelaide is very quiet. The room had a full kitchen which was well equipped and very clean. The only negative was that we couldn't get the oven to work. Not a real issue for us with a microwave also installed. We reported the issue when checking out and reception were very keen to learn of the problem and gave the impression it was a priority for them. Read more

Lovely old building and the 1 bedroom apartment gave us that extra room to spread out. Only a queen size bed but very comfortable and modern apartment in an excellent position. A big TV in the bedroom as well and a nice big bathroom. 1 blocks walk to China town and the markets and 2 blocks in the other direction to the Rundall st Mall. Also the tram […] out the front.
