Good value for money, good accommodation
"Our Favorite Place to Stay in T.O."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Our room had two minor issues which we reported at checkout. (Refrigerator did not work well due to broken seal on door and toilet needed a little tightening) I will trust the hotel will address these maintenance issues. The suite was clean, comfortable and pleasing for our stay. This is always our first choice of accommodations, so much better than a standard room. The Hotel has simple elegance and a top rate, friendly and efficient staff.
"An excellent hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent value. An enjoyable stay all round.

"on our way to airport"
It was fine for a one nite stay just to get us to the airport. Rooms need updating. Service was very friendly and helpful. There was a mustiness to the room that was not pleasant.
"really garbage hotel"
the hotel is located far outside of the city which is inconvenient, it is about a 10 minute drive from the metro. The hotel is quite old and even the nonsmoking halls smell like decades of old cig smoke. The rooms are dark and clammy, the windows do not open so there is no way to get fresh air even on warm days. The staff are nitpicky and unpleasant. […] overall a TERRIBLE hotel motel. I mean like really crappy. You might as well spend the extra money to stay in a nicer place closer to a metro stop or closer to the city. I hope this acts as a WARNING for people. Read more
"Would have been nice to get to sleep"
Booked it because it was close to airport and we had a 06:15 flight. We had some child running up and down above us. We complained about the noise at 11:15. It stopped after a while. It started again at 12:15. The desk clerk told us there was no one in the room above us. So he wasn't too concerned about chasing down the problem. It went on until 01:00. […] So we got a wonderful 2 hour nap. Then we had to wake up the night clerk to check out. We tried to ask what was done about the little monster, but couldn't get an answer. I think he was too groggy to understand the question. The shuttle was nice, though. Read more
"Not everything working"
The WiFi was down. The fitness center did not have much. The parking did not give easy access to the rooms. The free breakfast wasn't much. The service was okay. It might be fine short term if you need an inexpensive place to stay, but it left a lot to be desired.
"Go Elsewhere!"
No hot water, room stank, TV had horrible reception and very few channels. Breakfast was terrible......FIND ANOTHER HOTEL!
"Days Hotel and Conference center"
Pros: The hotel is close to Toronto Pearson Airport making it a great location if planning on flying or leaving the car in the hotel. It has great features ike indoor pool wich I found ok. Has nerby restorants and malls. The breaksfast it's alright. Cons: I needed a small refrigerator to store my son's milk and they never provided. customer attention […] is low. The rooms are ok, but they kind The of dirty. The pillows are too big are hard. Bring your own. All linen should be replaced. The Ice machines are not working in all the floors. It lacks of customer attention. But for the price it's ok. Read more

"Don't stay!"
It was our fault - looking for a cheap affordable hotel--This hotel is located in a questionable neighborhood. I wouldn't feel comfortable walking around. No restaurants near by other than fast food - I think I saw a drug deal go down outside the rear entrance to the hotel.
"Scary Carpets-not very clean looking"
Hotel stay was 7/7/11...The hotel needs to be updated, everywhere we went the carpets were very nasty looking...didn't take my sandles off in room..yuk! Hotel front desk staff were very nice, pool area was really great and clean though. The bathroom was very clean as well, just need to clean or replace some of their carpeting and bedspreads...the e […] nd Read more

"Good hotel for the price."
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Service was lacking a little. We needed more towles & washcloths but they weren't brought up soon after we requested them. Had to call again. Pool was nice. The free parking was nice. Restaurant in hotel was overpriced, but that's par for the course. Staff members were very friendly.
"the hotel is old"
the hotel is very old
It's was the wors hotel I ever stay.
Inexpensive hotel. Not fancy and rooms are older, but comfortable and clean. This is the second time we stayed at this location and we were satisfied with our experience this time around. The people at reception were very helpful and when I went downstairs looking for a cup of tea at 11pm (or shortly thereafter), the gentleman at the desk opened up […] the breakfast area so I could bring a cup of tea up to my room (despite the kitchen having closed shortly before). This is likely to be our choice for an inexpensive but clean and convenient place to stay in Toronto. The only negative is that it would not be as easy to get to without a car. Read more

"Travaller"
This hotel is too old. The interior was old, such as wall papper, carpet, sink, tape ...ete. The room is so compact and narrow. The front desk was not that friendly. I have a very bad impression as signed in the hotel. The parking lot was so dark at night and dirty on one side. On my final day of staying in, I got a parking violation for no reasion. […] I went to the front desk and they removed the $20.00 violation fee. For all; this is not the place that I want to stay and it is not worst for your money. I will not recommend to anyone to stay in that hotel. Read more
"Filthy and Old"
The place needs a face-lift and a thorough good cleaning, the toilet tank ran all night until I managed to fix it and even the stools in the bar area had no padding left on them. The only good thing, the bed was very comfortable!
"good value for the money"
good hotel, good value. only problems was thi hotel was away from restaurants. The hotel inspite of being well maintained looks old. Liked swimming pool, free breakfast and free parking

"Won't go back."
Hotel is old and dated, many repairs needed in the room. 2am, blow horn went off in the hallway. 2:30am some guy (drunk) knocked on our door, looking for the wrong room. 3:30am some guy was yelling in the hallway. Finally called front desk, they said they have a look - called us back and said they couldn't see any problem....OK I lied! When we 1st got […] our room, the hallway smelled like "pot". We stayed in a non smoking room, but the room stunk like cigarettes. I will spend the exta $20/$30 per night and stay somewhere else. Never Again!! Read more
"Days Hotel"
They overall stay was fine. But if you are looking for a hotel with a hot tub for relaxation don't go there. The hot tub does not work and when I asked them to have a look at it to fix it they came and felt it and that was it. If you plan to get sleep be careful, they had a hard time for whatever reason figuring out our bill so they called our room […] after 11pm and woke us all up. The rooms are older but our room was pretty clean for it being an older hotel. The beds were quite comfy and we close to many shops and stores. Read more
"Airport hotel"
Asked for a non smoking room... Our room smelled of smoke, had burn holes on the bed and all over carpets. The room was very worn out and not very clean. The only good thing was that the parking was convenient and close to the airport.
"In the ghetto..."
This hotel isnt in the nicest location. It backs on to the 401 near the 400. The neighbourhood is colourful, and the hotel itself isn't in the best shape. On the other hand, it's pretty inexpensive, and as they say, you get what you pay for. Had the misfortune of having a group of dudes partying and smoking pot (in a non smoking room) next to me for […] the two nights I was there. Definately made it hard to get work done on my trip. "Days inn Toronto east"
I had the misfortune to book a room in this hotel last week and will never do so again. Specifically, the hotel room floor looked like it had not been vaccuumed in a week. The toilet got plugged up and no plunger was available as no maintenance staff was working. I requested an extra pillow to my room while at the front desk. It was never delivered. […] The carpet in the hallway on the second floor needs to be replaced. It was well worn and dirty. I have stayed at several Days Inn locations throughout Ontario and Quebec and have never seen one as unkempt as this one. It was a very cheap price and obviously you get what you pay for. I would gladly now have paid double to get a clean room and clean hotel. Read more
"Days Inn Toronto"
We stayed here because it was located near the airport and they had a shuttle. We liked the convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel and being able to have a beer or two without having to leave the premises. The pizza is really good. Made fresh right there. The people were friendly as well. I would stay here again.
Very rude when we checked in, and room was dirty with carpet stains and cigarette burns and this was one of their non smoking rooms.
"You get what you pay for"
The wireless never worked the washroom the paint was peeling ,the beds needed changing, we had to ask for more towels, The positive was a free shuttle to the airport, if you need a cheap stay for just one night that is fine but if you need more then one night look somewhere else
"Days hotel on Wilson in Toronto - needs a reno"
Everything in the hotel was substandard. The bathroom in our room #119 was very dirty, the breakfast that was to be free was not replentished and needed a cleanup, there was hardly any selection. Regarding the pool it was dirty and needed maintainance and three teenage boys came by with skateboards who were not staying at the hotel and went swimming […] then proceeded to skateboard in the hallway. No one from the hotel did anything about it. Basically the whole hotel needs a renovation that is long over due. Read more

"close to the airport"
The Days hotel in Toronto was not to far from the airport. The shuttle bus brought us to the airport and picked us u[ at odd hours. This was great.
"Days Hotel and Conference Center Toronto Airport E"
The hotel was ok, with clean rooms & linens etc. The pool was good but the service was a bit chaotic when we were checking in. The shuttle driver to the airport was really nice and was there on time. Overall a good place with a reasonable price and close to Pearson Airport.
"Days hotel on Wilson Road TO"
Great Service and very pleasant and accomodating staff. Very helpful and good humoured staff.
"Days Inn-close to the airport and cheap, but..."
But dont expect anything. The rooms are super old, and the amenities arent 100% functional -lighting, shower, etc. Cheapness has a price. Never leave anything in the car overnight. The neigborhood is sketchy.

"Convenient stay-"
The hotel over all was good... Everything seemed clean and the service was good, we ended up staying an extra night.. The only complaint I have is that the tv was broken as well as the heater... That was kind of annoying
"Hotel in Toronto"
The hotel is called airport hotel but actually 10km from the airport. The airport shuttle runs only every hour. I booked there because I had to go the airport twice on one day. The first time, I went with the shuttle, but when I came back, I waited over 40 minutes for the shuttle to pick me up after I called. Eventually I cannot wait anymore, after […] they told me the bus driver didn't see me so I had to wait another 20 minutes. So I took a taxi, and the 2nd time I just took my car to the airport. The hotel also refused to do a late check-out for one hour. Gym is bad. Not very clean, no water, and very very few equipment. Good thing is WIFI and parking are free. The surrounding is not good. The mall nearby is not good. Very few restaurant. Read more
"disappointed"
1 towel in room, taps would not shut off had to be done under the counter, the sauna did not work, there were no towels in the pool area and when i went back in the morning there were drink caps (vex) on the chairs with used towels from the night before still there after they finished vacuuming the pool. the hallway had cereal spilled and was there […] from 8 a.m till i checked out at 11 a.m. Read more
"Days Hotel and Conference Center Toronto Airport E"
This hotel had the appearance of being clean when entering the lobby but as soon as you turned the corner to enter hallway you could tell right away that it wasn't going to be good. The hallways were dirty as well and the room. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed in I don't know how long. We even found shards of glass in the carpet, obviously visible to […] the naked eye since we noticed it as soon as the lights were turned on. The hotel was noisy with people roaming the hallways till the wee hours, going in and out of rooms all night long. We expressed our dissatifaction with the night manager the next morning upon checkout. Althought we received a credit on our invoice, we will never stay there again. Read more
