I really loved the hotel! I wanted something more high end and something that would give me the 'Miami' feeling but for a somewhat affordable price. The hotel itself beautiful, clean, and modern. Seriously one of my favorite hotels now. Beautiful decor and lighting, friendly staff, ridiculously perfect rooftop pool and beach set up options and cool details like glass of bubbly upon arrival. Little things to note: crowds can be rowdy on a druken night - and that sound can seep into certain rooms.

Enjoyed my stay. Only negative was being awaken by housecleaning at 9am on a sunday morning. They were VERY noisy cleaning the room next door. I live in Miami. Came to Dream to relax. I was exhausted the entire day. Other than that the experience was great! All staff was very attentive. The hotel is beautiful from Lobby to Roof Top pool.

Rooms are very small, the lighting in the room is terrible and ver dark. The bathroom has a clear glass door with no privacy next to the hallway and in the bedroom. Just not worth the money. Sorry but very true.

The property had a very sexy vibe beginning with the lobby. Room was very nice - small but sexy. Staff are ready and waiting to assist. The issue I had was lack of bathroom privacy. Glass doors do not allow for any privacy when using the shower or commode. I found that to be a big issue. Glass should be frosted or covered. We managed but very awkward […] for me. Can't imagine how we would have handled this if our guests who stopped by needed to use the bathroom. Dim lighting is challenging in the bathroom for applying make up. Rooftop pool area is fabulous but oddly enough no swimming allowed at night ???and yet the heat was on which made the pool very inviting. That was a problem for me. Would definitely recommend the hotel, room was a touch small but then I imagine most of the hotels on South Beach are probably on a smaller scale. This place is meant for couples!! Expensive parking. Staff was very friendly. Rooftop pool and bar were nice. Lots of noisy construction happening on the beach where you get your chairs but that's not the hotel's fault. Blue lights in room are romantic and fun, but may get old after a couple nights. We stayed for 2 nights which was perfect.

Hotel is nice for couples. Rooms are comfy and modern. Rooftop bar and pool are awsome with a heated pool (fav part)! As soon as you check in you are greeted with champagne, helpful staff, loved it! Only down part is the glass door on the shower and toilet area aka you have no privacy.

I booked a queen junior suite through Expedia. I checked in and they gave me a king standard. I went to front desk to find out about the mix up and was told "thats an issue with Expedia not us, you need to call them." I informed the person that Expedia wasnt there and didnt have the room list in front of them like she did. I was again told sorry. Later […] that evening, the same staff person saw me in the lobby and stopped me and said that she had placed 4 breakfast coupons in my room for breakfast for the 2 of us for 2 mornings. I said, fine at least it is something. We get to breakfast the next morning and the coupon is only good for a croissand a fruit cup. Im not necessarily so mad about the mix up as I am in the staff's unwillingness to make it right from the beginning. Read more

If you're looking for a unique Art Deco hotel in the heart of all the South Beach action, you'll love the Dream! Great place for couples on a romantic vacay get away. Our room was small yet cozy. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nice, except--there are transparent glass doors to the toilet and don't even fully close! Not sure what kind of a brilliant design idea this is, but to us it was a bit of a shocker. The friendly staff, who must get this question all the time, explains that "you can still get some privacy" by closing off the double-doors between the entry […] way (where the glass-door toilet and shower are) and the room. The double-doors themselves are of a semi-transparent mesh type... Anyway, anyone booking this hotel has the right to be warned about this. The other problem is that there are a couple of 24-hour places right accross the street, so there is a lot of noise going on all night. Impossible to get a good night sleep unless you get a room facing the other side of the building. The staff was very nice about this though, and did move us into a better-located room on our 2nd night. I'd give this hotel a 4 or a 5 if not for the glass doors... Read more

Very nice hotel w/ excellent staff in great location. But the room configuration and design is bizarre, I felt like I was in an inside cabin on a cruise ship. :( Dark and not lit well, the lighting is so confusing and BLUE. To enter a hotel suite in the bathroom which is ensconsed in glass (yes the toilet in glass) is not what I call an impressive entrance. […] It's nearly impossible to put in contact lenses or put on make-up effectively in that lighting. We were only here one night. Very nice hotel, looked like it had just been remodeled. BEAUTIFUL bathrooms and very modern decor, but it was almost too slick for its own good-the lighting features were too complicated (kept looking for the 'normal' button! Couldnt seem to find anything but 'glow in the dark' blue:( Also, the walls were PAPER THIN-maybe […] they should invest more in the insulation and less in the mood lighting?? I could hear a little too much from my neighbors). ONE GOOD NOTE-the gentleman at the door was extremely courteous and seemed genuinely proud of his hotel which was nice to see. Roof top pool bar and cocktail hour was very well done, and a great way to begin the evening as the sun went down. Marketing director came by and offered tours and history of buildings. This was our first trip to South Beach and we loved our weekend at Dream! The hotel staff went above and beyond, right down to the cool towel we received while checking in. We stayed in the sun suite, so had our own private outdoor deck with tv and huge sitting area. It was as big as the room downstairs. We also had direct access to the pool.
