Very nice hotel... Does have a night club, and you could hear the music in you room on the third floor... Get a higher room in the towers if noise will bother you in the evenings.

First of all the staff is very friendly, but are hindered by what takes place at the resort. Upon check in we were advised the pool was closed, which was not listed on Hotels.com. The beach area is tiny and not very well maintained. There was a lot of litter from used beverage containers. Now th kicker was that I had requested are room away from the […] night club. At 10:30 at night I found that my room was right above the club. The floor literally vibrated. I called the front desk and another room was not available until the next day. SInce the club was open until 3:00 AM I had plenty of awake time to decide that I was not going to stay here another night. When I spoke with the front desk and advised that I was leaving, the young woman working it was so polite and friendly that it is a shame she has to work at a resort that is not a quality place. She offered again to move us and when I declined she even offered to have someone drive us to our new hotel. Complements to the staff, but I would not stay here again. not to bad. only issue we really had was with the tv. Our first night it wasnt working, so we were without tv due to the hotel mx is not on property 24/7. the front desk guy tried to fix it but was unable to. the construction was not to bad to deal with. the room was nice. The room was very clean and nice. The hotel was nice overall and has many good features. Pros - clean room, good location, nice restaurant and helpful staff. Cons - nightclub can be noisy, cheesy tee shirt shop outside, the hotel can be better for a group looking for a fun beach vacation versus a family getaway.

The hotel was undergoing a major renovation which entailed demolition of one half of the hotel including the pool area. We were aware that the pool area would be closed and were provided access to the pool at a neighboring hotel. We were unaware of the demo of 1/2 of the property. We expected to be able to utilize the hotel fittness center however it […] was demo'ed along with the other areas. This was disapointing as one of the reasons we chose the hotel was that it had a fittness center. Finally our stay was disapointing because the music from a first floor disco was audible in our third floor room, which was otherwise a very nice room. About a mile from Pier 60 not a bad walk and there's shops and eating places in between. Hotel room was roomy. Has complementary valet parking. Staff very friendly. Was expecting a resort fee but did not have to pay any other charges than what I paid to hotels.com. Would def. stay there again!

Hotel was nice it was the noise level of the club that was below us.... I did read the previous reviews and thought we would still try it. That part was not so nice just from traveling all day and wanted to rest and found it hard due to the bass of the club music, I am not that old either :) We were relieved when there was a wedding the second night […] of our stay, no bass and was much more well rested without the club music. unfortunately i stayed with friends during major construction so the pool , spa, and other facilities were closed. The business center was also unavailable so we could not print off our tickets for airport. Loud music until late at night from the tiki bar. Kitchenette didn't have enough cutlery & plates for the 4 people this room is suppose to hold. We were in a non-smoking room, but the room smelled like smoke and the mattresses were dreadfully.

This hotel has at least two nightclubs on-site, one of which is a "Rave" type club where the unbelievably loud "music" and atmosphere is not conducive to most people. After a pretty lousy breakfast buffet (how do you mess up eggs? and don't expect more than one cup of coffee), we went to the office, there were two people working the desk and I asked […] to speak to a manager. When asked by the defensive young lady what it was about, she wanted to know if it had to do with the hotel, nightclub, or the restaurant so that she could refer me to the correct manager. I told her that it was about the loud music the night before. At that point she looked towards the other person standing behind the desk, and I asked him if he was the manager. He then spoke and said yes. He never offered his name, only asking me my name and room number, and then adding this classic Freudian slip, "I wouldn't want you to waste my, ...umm, your time. Our conversation went downhill from there. Long story short, they were defensive, unapologetic, and said that I was the only complaint about the music, but that they would leave a message for the night manager. They suggested that I move to another room in another part of the hotel. I declined. The pool was covered by oily scum, the beach is about 75 ft by 10 ft wide, you have to rent a chair to sit in, and the food and food service is lousy. Very disappointing choice for my wife's birthday surprise "weekend away"! DO NOT book a room at this hotel! Read more

The hotel overall was OK. The big issue is they are not sure whether they are a hotel or a nightclub. Loud bands outside your door every night. Finally left in the middle of our stay as it was so obnoxious.

It was a very nice hotel with a lot of conviences but with the bar and night club right next to the pool it was hard to have a 'family' vacation. I did not realize that the drinking and party crowd would be so bad. We were looking for a quiet time on the beach to relax and get away. This is not that hotel. Great atmosphere at the tiki bar. However, if your in the main part of the hotel the music is so loud that its hard to sleep if you go to bed before 3am. The rooms were clean, but the beds were a little hard and the bathroom appliances a little loose. Service was great and the pool was amazing.

The hotel was very nice, as was the staff. Our children were the only children at the hotel. The tiki bar and beach areas were very party-oriented on Sunday (which is the day we checked in). The remainder of our stay it was not really an issue. The room was perfect with the mini-kitchen.

My husband and I went with my sister and her husband. They had a room on the top floor with a balcony and we had a patio room by the pool. Both were really nice rooms and we each liked our locations and they fitted both our personalities. We like the night life and were close to everything, the pool, the nightlife, and they liked the quietness. A half […] hour after we checked in the front desk called our room and asked if we were satisfied and if there was anything we needed. The whole complex was extremely clean.
