I was a little apprehensive in booking this motel, an older La Quinta, in north Dallas/Farmers Branch. But reviews were on the whole good. What I experienced was a very clean room with clean sheets, towels, etc. Well maintained older property, clean paint, walks, pool, lobby. Nothing fancy here, but you can park near your room, don't have to take an elevator inside. TV is flatscreen with cable. Shower is nice with great water pressure. Typical free breakfast, cereal or do it yourself waffles. Neighborhood is mostly warehouses and industrial bldgs. Right on 35E freeway, but not noisy inside the hotel. All the retail you want about 2 miles west on Valley View Ln to MacArthur street. Read more

The power at the hotel went crazy. The electricity would surge on then off. The hotel staff said that the city was responsible. The air conditioning was off and the hotel got warmer and warmer. The hotel would not put any guests into another hotel, even their own chain. They told guests that it may not be fixed for 4 or 5 days. Very poor customer response […] and handling. Was booked for a 3-day stay at this hotel; but, the hotel only input 2 days into their reservation system. Took 30+ minutes to locate my possessions (still in room) and straighten out THEIR problem.

Very noisy bath fan and sometimes cold shower water. Not the greatest breakfast, but typical. My granddaughter did love the Texas shaped and sized waffle.

The man at the front desk was very helpful and very nice. Our room was clean and even had cute bedding! Couldn't hear the highway traffic, and we were a few blocks away from delicious restaurants off of Belt Line.

Clean, quiet and comfortable beds. Only one thing, the quality of the maintenance work is poor and I gladly send a level as a gift to the maintenance team to straight out the mirrors, the lamps and even the crown moldings of the room. Phone was out of service.

Front desk did not initially find my Expedia reserv. There was a strange horrible smell in the room. The deodorizer didn't help. They did offer another room. Won't stay again/ Bathroom exhaust fan very noisy. Hotel needs updating. Most La Quintas are much nicer, guess I got what I paid for.

Next to Interstate, but quiet due to layout. Comfortable bed, HDTV and a recliner. No luxury hotel but a solid deal. Breakfast is mainly cereal, bagels and waffles - no protien but okay. One of the few places where the desk chair is actually tall enough to work on your laptop.

Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. had one issue with hot water, but it was resolved immediately. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to Dallas area.

Although the hotel is in a very convient location, It is needing major repairs!!! The hotel is needing serious remodeling....I paid average to stay in a non smoking room....I get there and there is only smoking rooms left and the room really had a bad odor of smoke in the room. The shower/tub was clogged, bathroom fan was very loud through the night […] (it never turned off), the air kept clicking on and off through the night as well. The bed was confortable and because I only stayed one night, I just let it go.....The parking lot is very dark...no lighting for a single female traveling....that was scary. The location is right off of I-35 and it's a short 2 block walk to the Farmers Branch Station on DART's Green Line. nobody spoke clear english the pool was dirty and had bugs floating in the water. the front desk clerks was very nasty and had a real attitude. they skip cleaning my room and lied and said that i had a do not disturb sign on the door. all in all it was horrible at the sleeze inn the fridge or microwave didn't work.

Choose this hotel because it is pet friendly - no fees, no weight restrictions - and because it was close to where I was having a job interview. Front customer service lady was excellent when we arrived, got a refrigerator and microwave at no cost plus a late check out. Room was clean but toilet didn't flush properly.
