The hotel is older, but they do a good job of trying to keep it up. All the personnel staff were great. Pool and hot tub, very well kept.

Everything was nice and clean, the rooms are just dated. The room we were in had a broken refrigerator, the rooms are suites so they have a full size fridge, but in a move that was just amazing less than 4 hours after seeing the maintenance man they brought in a BRAND NEW fridge!!! Maybe we just lucked out and they were on the schedule to be replaced […] but it was a very nice surprise. The staff was very friendly. We will go back again for another stay... Our condo slept 6 people. 2 queen beds & a pull out couch. The only thing we didn't like was having both beds n the same room & the size of the kitchen sink. But what can you do!?! The location was perfect! Right on the beach!! The rooms are very clean, all of the services (people) were very friendly & helpfull, & our room had plenty of space for 3 […] adults & 3 kids to not feel crammed. The price for the stay was totally in our budget. All in all we were very pleased with our stay!!! We will definitely stay there again!!!! Read more

The location is great ... hotel and grounds a bit dated but it is right on the beach with lots to do in the surrounding area. No hotel restaurant. 11:00 AM checkout a HUGE minus. Also they were not offering late checkouts and we had the cleaning person at the door at 11:00 sharp. Telling us the guests have arrived. This all being said I would stay here […] again especially if it were for a few days. The room is a small suite with efficiency so it is nice for the kids. We did get an upgrade to an oceanfront room ... which was really cool. However I am not sure I would have liked it as much if I was not Ocean front as the rooms towards the front of the hotel ( away from the beach ) didnt seem that nice and were actually a bit of a hike to the beach ( but closer to the pools and jacuzzi ). This suite hotel does a real nice job. Rooms are sizable suites and ours had a tremendous view of the Gulf. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is a little outdated, but very clean. Great value.

Upon arrival, Staff was efficient and friendly ... room was smelly ... and was promptly given another room. Much better room ... but it felt like we were in the 70's ... the beaches were great ... sunset fantastic ... and Skinners Restaurant is great food ... and busy.

Decor bit outdated. Facility excellent rooms clean staff very friendly. Great value for money. Have to pay for Internet but neighbouring hotel free signal work. Business acquaintances stayed elsewhere. Paid more and they did not have kitchenette. Hope to return next year

The location was excellent and close to other attractions. The room was clean but would have preferred the bedroom facing the beach/gulf side. Front desk was very friendly. The cost was was also reasonable. It would have been nice to have free wi fi though. I would recommend it and come back also.

Right next to a beautiful and quiet beach. Beachside cabana bar with occasional live music. Two swimming pools. We had a gulf view suite with a nice balcony - for the price we paid, it's tough to beat. Free parking and location is convenient. Staff was very friendly eager to help. Will surely stay here again! It's dated but convenient to restaurants, ice-cream shops, and of course the beach. Based on others' reviews we were expecting it to be dated so no shock there. The tub can use some more scrubbing; but the rest of the room is clean. Also, the tub drain was very slow, I was already in the shower when I found out about it - so I improvised and used a […] straw to poke thru - managed to push the build up (mostly sand from the way it felt) in less than a minute. This is something hotel maintenance should constantly check since the hotel is on the beach. Clearly they should expect that the majority of their guests will get in the shower with sand from the beach... Read more

An older hotel but everything was very clean. Alex and Chris at the front desk were very helpful. Mark in the shop was awesome. Cali and David at the beach bar were tremendous. The staff really made this place and we will return in 2013.

We enjoyed the hotel property amenities in that it had two pools (heated), available games (shuffle board, ping pong, bean bag toss) and a beach bar. The downside was that you need to bring your own beach chairs or rent them on the beach from the vendor out front for $20.00 per two chair umbrella per day. Plus they have the best spots on the beach. On […] Saturday night there is a Cuban dance club across the street that apparently has the ability to blare loud music until 11 p.m. at night. Great king beds, very quiet, nice TV and channels, GREAT Beach (one of the best, if not the best, I have ever been to). Hot Tub was old and dirty but new one was under construction. Not going to be done until end of December 2012. Good value, but no restaurant at this Hotel, but lots of places nearby.

We love St Pete Beach and have stayed in another hotel just down the street and enjoyed it. But we tried the Aldin this time and loved it. Comfortable and clean, with a small kitchen to make breakfast after a long walk on the beach in the morning.

The rooms are SUPER noisy! When I say noisy, I mean you can literally hear people's conversations next door, you can hear then shower etc. Also, the crowd there when I went was in the 65+ category. Dogs are welcome, which was a plus for me, however, the older crowd was not so fond of that fact, which resulted in comments towards me and my dog, which […] I ofcourse did not enjoy. Also the front desk staff is really nice, but that's not the case for the maintenance workers. They are mostly rude. Overall, I would like for them to make the rooms more soundproof since it really annoyed us and the dog that we could hear EVERYTHING from outside and next door (we had a family next to us, who loved to yell at each other and cry etc.) The beach so close to the hotel was a definite plus!!
