Overall ok stay. Need some work on the reception area. I stayed at this property several times, and every time is very slow and always an issue... If you want a speedy check in, check out process find a different property. Great surroundings and room very clean. Despite the fact that there were 7 people checking in guests when we got there, check in took 45 min!!! Asked for a late check out, but was denied. Room was nice, spacious, quiet, and clean. The place was cozy. We stayed in the Sandpiper Building on Blatt Rd. it's very clean, but the furniture and appliances are very outdated. The bed's mattress was very old and uncomfortable. "Clean, large, one bedroom with kitchen and bath"
It is like a one bedroom condominium. Large kitchen, big bathroom with a shower, whirlpool bath that we never used. the only thing is nobody will come and clean or change towels every day if your stay is less than a week which was fine with my family. Whenever you need to change the towels for new ones, you could go and do it yourself. There are washer […] and dryer (had to put quarters in) on every floor and that was great for us. We were amazed at all of the available amenities. The rooms are set up great for a longer-term stay. The dual-room set up would be great if we had gotten our two rooms side-by-side instead of across the hall. These accommodations share a common foyer with separate locks for each suite. It is important to note that the town of Weston is within 20 miles of the Florida Everglades so lizards are to be expected in the area. With amenities such as open-air balconies, these “uninvited guests” do occasionally appear in the rooms. We maintain a regular pest control service at the resort and continually receive high marks in housekeeping and cleanliness at the resort. We regret that we failed to meet all of your expectations and we hope that you give us another chance to prove that we are the best lodging for a tropical South Florida vacation.

I thought this was a hotel/motel. It is a time share and not suitable for a 1 night stay. There was no coffee for the coffeemaker, no restaurant nearby, and anything was a drive away. The hotel was in great shape and a great place to stay. Plenty of beautiful pools and activities. Rooms were large and the kitchen was adequate for our needs. BUT... be very aware that the beaches and other things to do away from the hotel are about a half hour to an hour away. I recently had to stay in a hotel for a week during mold remediation in my house. I have a 3 month old baby so I wanted some place with a kitchen. I found Vacation Village just a few minutes away so it worked out perfect for us. Check in was alitle frustrating since they couldn't find my reservation since I went through hotels.com, just have your confirmation # to help them out. No one said anything about timeshares, they just asked if I would go to their free breakfast or lunch, I just said no & they moved on. We stayed in the Osprey building, it wasn't old, our room was a good size & it felt like a home away from home. It had a kitchen, a living room & a bedroom. "Things to remember about Vacation VIllage"
We've stayed here before. It is a timeshare, and our unit had a small kitchen, living room and bedroom. It was comfortable, and met our needs. We are not timeshare owners, and do not want to be. Upon check-in one needs to get a parking pass from guest services, who try to get you to agree to attend a timeshare informative breakfast. We come to this when I can't go out of town it is home away from our last stay we got a 1bed studio and it was quite cuzy. It was nice clean everytime I stay it is very pleasant. The checking in process was gruelin with an emphasis on viewing new units. Definitely, there was a bit of a fast sell going on. the rooms were clean but shabby looking with no carpeting in the kitchen living room area. Pros: Very Spacious Rooms Cons: VERY Dated...so dated that we didn't want to sit on the old couch -location was offsite from the main hotel area. It wasn't even walking distance. No lobby, no concierge, no nothing. It looked like an apartment complex. -Sales staff was extremely pushy with trying to sell their timeshare. They won't give you a parking […] pass until you hear them out. Wasted 40 minutes of our time. - We were told we had a view of the golf course.
