"Room size too small for the price"
Room size too small for the price. Also very few electrical outlets in the room. Switch for the bathroom light is inside the bathroom and behind the door which makes it impossible to turn on in the dark without some ambient light to guide you. No separate soap for bath vs. general. No complimentary coffee in the room! Room and bathroom were clean; Staff […] were courteous. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A wonderful gem in Atlanta"
The Artmore Hotel is truly a great place to stay with great rooms, near the Marta, in a fun vicinity, fantastic atmosphere, all around a complete winner in all regards, and I would definately go back and recommend it wholeheartedly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Upon checking in we were informed that only two rooms were available, right next to the lobby or the last room far away from the lobby. We chose the far away room, not realizing it was right in front of the hotel on the street level. We heard traffic all night long and also the opening and closing of a stairway door. The guests noise of coming and going […] was very loud, unfortunately we did not get a good night sleep. If you are prone to being a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. Rooms were awesome! beds were like sleeping on clouds! nice little workout room. the fire in the courtyard at night was cozy. i will definitely stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Charming and comfortable. Front desk very helpful with recommendations and willingness to accomodate my requests. Loved the bed and TV. Bathroom was small and tub/shower could use updating. Easy drive to the convention center and other activities. Valet parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great little boutique hotel"
Overall the place was very nice, very trendy, small, quaint. Overall it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. Couple of quick negatives, the bathrooms are very cramped, really awkward shelve right over sink, nailed my head on it while brushing my teeth. Staff could be a little friendlier, especially valet...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Across the street from the light rail station"
Very convenient location and very clean older hotel with a comfortable courtyard.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It is near everything, but keep in mind Atlanta is urban sprawl. You don't walk anywhere.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Nice hotel and conveiently located to our Atlanta office. Breakfeast should be included for the rates charged when compaired to other hotels in the midtown and downtown areas that we use.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely rooms, very helpful staff, great bartenders"
I booked through Hotels.com and something was lost in translation because when we checked in, they had us in a 1 bedroom suite instead of the 2 bedroom. We had six people so obviously something was going to have to be done. They wasted no time comping us a second room to accommodate us all. The 1 bedroom suite was a small kitchenette by the door, and […] then up a short staircase was a king bedroom with a slanted ceiling. It was very nice even though it wouldn't sleep us all. We let the two men in our group take that room, and the four ladies took a double room down the hall. Beds were comfy, bathroom was nice, the courtyard is wonderful and the bartenders made some great drinks for us. This was my third time staying at the Artmore and I will be back. "Great hotel - but an odd room"
Love staying at the Artmore and its more often than not my go to place. Its situated in a great location (almost immediately across from Arts Center MARTA station), very friendly service and it has some very comfortable rooms with huge welcoming beds. On this occasion though the room we were given was nice (it was recently refurbished bathroom and was […] a good sized) it had a few quirks... The bathroom did not have a wash basin in it, however there was one outside in the main room. A little odd when you use the bathroom and then have to go outside to wash your hands. Also at around 5am the central heating for the hotel automatically turned on and was very noisy, waking both me and my partner up. Parking is a little expensive too but that is to be expected for the location. Overall - still a comfortable stay and a good hotel but some odd things which did not ruin our night, it did raise a few eyebrows. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel building is freshly painted and smartly decorated with an inviting circular patio that opens to the driveway & W. Peachtree. But it is an old building with paper thin walls and a tiny bathroom. The sounds on the other side of the walls are somehow amplified. People in the hall and adjoining rooms sound like they're in the room. Late at night […] one hears quiet conversation and soft coughing. The attention of the staff ranges from indifferent to very empathetic. When you ask for hand towels when you didn't get any that day, they send wash cloths. (Better than nothing.) Valet parking at the hotel was $19.50, but there is cheaper parking nearby. (Better renew your $10 overnight ticket by 9 am in the covered lot to the S across 16th Street or they boot your car.) The basement breakfast buffet for $10 with many hot & cold items-- and even thawed blueberries and raspberries--a bargain. The MARTA station is across the symphony. The High Museum & Atlanta Symphony are a block farther E. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good price. Nice staff. Clean and confortable room"
For being the first time in Atlanta, I think this is a good place to stay. Good price, very confortable and clean rooms. Staff is very attentive, and room service staff too. I had to request some extra towels several days, and they delivered them immediately. Just one little thing made my stay uncomfortable: my room was next to the stairs exit, and […] since the elevator is not near to a great deal of rooms and the hotel only has 3 floors, a lot of people used the stairs instead (including me!!!!) but the noise at night (From 1:00am an on) bothers… A LOT!!!!!. If I stay here again, I will request a room far from the stairs exit. I had a noisy neighbor the night before my departure, and in order to "help" the other guests near my room, during check out I told the girl in the counter. She was so nice and apologized, wrote a note regarding it and didn't charge me the breakfast and parking fees. I felt really satisfied and appreciate that. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Loved everything about our stay"
This was our first time staying at the Artmore & it will not be our last! We loved everything about this wonderful hotel. I don't like the generic look of so many of the chain hotels & this place was so unique. It is beautiful & comfortable & within walking distance of many fabulous restaurants & bars. The outdoor courtyard with its seating, lights […] & firebowl/fountain are very inviting & the perfect spot to sit & sip a glass of wine after all-day meetings. "Close to arts center"
Across the street from arts center, but not close to anything else. Only a few nearby restaurant options. Extraordinarily nice staff. The room seemed rather worn, neither as charming as an old hotel nor as thoughtfully arranged as a newer one. The usual ~$20 valet parking. Wi-fi was free, but slow. It seemed nice to have a Keurig in the room until I […] saw the $2 charge for a K-cup. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"My second stay here"
I've stayed here a few nights in Dec 2013, and for one night thus far in 2014. Overall, it's a great hotel and perfect for me as it's walking distance from my office. Staff is very polite and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean. I recommend.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location. Comfy rooms with cool decor. Very pretty courtyard with fire fountain. My only complaint was that parking was valet-only... it's expensive and it's not included in the room rate. There is no self-parking... the only alternative is to use a paid public parking lot down the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Attractive midtown hotel that could up its game"
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to a friend. Staff was friendly and mostly helpful, if not seeming to be very professionally trained or dressed. The age of the hotel becomes apparent when you step out of the lobby and walk down a series of hallways to the elevator; it wasn't clear to me if this was a temporary condition, but was a real […] walk for a hotel of its size. My room was adequate in size for one person and well enough arranged. Decor seemed kind of '60s, rather cheap furniture and fixtures but good bed. Lighting was too dim. Still, it was not depressing, even had some charm and was quiet - could be much more inviting with better furniture and lighting. Had a drink at the attractive small bar off the lobby with a friend, where again the service was friendly but not very professional and our martinis were quite badly made. "Plan on spending and spending"
I paid 150$ for a room at this hotel in midtown... On a discounted website. When I arrived I was at first impressed with the architecture and decor of the hotel but then I went into my room.... There was makeup all over the white shower curtain from previous guests and the previous guest had out a shower cap over the smoke detector so the non smoking […] room could be smoking. After calling and visiting the front desk nothing was ever done about the dirty room Also one K-Cup was almost 3$.. Coffee should be complimentary if you're offering it for personal use in the room. The furnace fan is extremely noise. It woke me up evey time it kicks on. We stayed in a suite for 3 nights, but none of us can hava a good sleep. Beside this overall was good and very clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Located in the middle of midtown, very artsy and eclectic. The firepit and bar are too notch and very different looks for a hotel, but lovely additions. Initial arrival is a bit bumpy around the four o'clock time when everyone is arriving because the entry way before valet parking is smaller. Staff is very courteous and well mannered. "Not a good value for the price we paid!"
The rooms were very cramped, and the bathroom was extremely small for four women (2 queen beds)! We expected the small(er) quarters in a boutique hotel. What we did not expect was to have to pay for general amenities inside the room. The little things like travel lotion, coffee inserts for the provided coffee maker, etc. were available... for a FEE!!! […] I was not pleased with this! Also, the High Museum is advertised as being a walk across the street. Well, more like a 15 minute walk. The lighting and decor left much to be desired with name like Artmore. The complimentary coffee bar (actually, a coffee tray) downstairs was not clean and did not look appealing. My best friend is a designer and we are both out-of-towners, and I thought it would be nice to take her to an artsy boutique hotel. Needless to say, we were let down. We would have been better off at a Holiday Inn Express with complimentary breakfast for TWO nights than with paying for one night in this place. Last thing, we arrived an hour after check-in, but had to wait in the lobby (with others waiting) with our bags until they got a room clean. Smh. Not the best experience. This is a charming little hotel that was a total surprise. Located directly behind the High Museum was convenient. Only wish it was closer to a few more restaurants although we had a delicious light dinner in their bar. We'll stay there again in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Easy to get to"
I loved the Artmore! The old hotel was completely re done. Everything was in great shape. Close to Marta so easy to get to from airport and then back downtown. Restaurants close by and GOOD ones at that! My only complaint was that I was booked for a double and they up graded me to a loft suite. It was huge and gorgeous, sky lights in the upstairs. The […] problem was that I had to sleep on the hide a bed down in the living room and it was not comfortable. Fitness center is lame. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Spot in Midtown"
The Artmore is small and tasteful. Our rooms was a bit cramped, but perfectly adequate for sleeping. The hotel is across the street from the Arts District MARTA station, which is also the terminus for the free shuttle bus to Atlantic Station, a cluster of stores, restaurants and a cineplex on the other side of the interstate. You can walk to restaurants […] in about 10 minutes; there's not restaurant in the hotel, although they have a cool small bar in the evening. We found the front desk staff helpful with food and travel info, and just plain nice. Valet parking is required and handy - there's no place to get rid of your car otherwise. This is not a hotel full of tweens competing in cheerleading, or church kids running amok, or loud drunken travelers - it's a great place to come home to at the end of the day, whether you've been sightseeing like we were, or working, as many of the other guests seemed to be. Enter the lobby, or the lovely enclosed courtyard, and the hectic traffic on Peachtree is forgotten. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Family Gem in Midtown"
If you need a room with plenty of space, this is the place. We had a two bedroom suite with a livingroom, kitchen, and dining room downstairs and two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. "We will be back!"
We had driven down from NYC so my fiancé could scuba dive at the Georgia Aquarium with the whale sharks. (Amazing experience btw but maybe next time, we won't do it around Xmas, too many people!!!) The Artmore is located in midtown, easy 10'ish minute drive to downtown where all the attractions were. Call ahead when you need your car and the valet […] boys will bring them around. New experience for us but apparently this is the norm in Georgia. They were courteous and timely. Since we were out of town and from NYC no less where we usually walk everywhere or take mass transit, it was strange that everywhere you had to pay for parking and metered parking was scarce. Most lots are under $10 for the day. Ran into a Jay Z concert one day so "event " parking was at a whopping $20. We only stayed about 10 minutes to take pictures by the Ferris wheel and fountains so that was very very expensive. Should have paid in advance and parked at the aquarium for $8.00 instead as members. Upon check in, I wasn't thrilled with the room we were assigned, very narrow, tight space with a view of the gloomy top of buildings so asked to be reassigned with a courtyard view which they accommodated thankfully. I think otherwise, this would have felt like a completely different trip. Request for rollaway bed is $10 a night bt dubs. The architecture was olden classic Spanish Mediterranean, top floor was the 3rd floor. I loved especially the big fountain flame they would have at night with the stringed lights. There was a wedding reception one evening. Beautiful. One of the main reasons I had chosen the Artmore, we had come south to get some engagement photos taken. There are grand cathedrals, nature, woods, gazebos, arches, cobblestone, trees, mansions, just jaw dropping architecture all around. It was perfect. Really easy to print documents from their business center so we could plan out our days. Free wifi is offered in your room if you bring a laptop. Staff from valet to front desk were truly welcoming and accommodating. Even treated my dog as a valued guest!
