Our 3 bedroom/3 bathroom condo had beautiful wood floors, tons of space in the large bedrooms, a big kitchen with everything you need, a very short bus ride from the base of the gondola. Couldn't have asked for more.

Great condo with king size bed, gas fireplace, full kitchen and washer/dryer in condo. Also had multiple heated pools and whirlpools both inside & out. Also had an onsite gym. Free shuttle service to mountain on a regular basis and also available to go into the town of Steamboat Springs. Very prompt pickups. Stayed at Trappeur's with a few friends and it was an amazing vacation! Super clean, great location, beautiful views, and only 2 minutes from the gondola... I highly recommend this hotel! We saved so much money cooking breakfast and preparing snacks and lunch in our full kitchen! We had an excellent stay. We found the suite to be very tastfully and expensively furnished. We did not end up needing the second bedroom, which was a little small, but everything else was beyond expectations. The kitchen was very well equipped. I was a little unsure about the mention of potential charges for cleaning services, but actually we did not […] need any of that, since they provided towel changes and trash pickup daily anyway, and didn't need any cleaning or linen services for a one week stay. People stopped by often to make sure we had everything we needed. About the only criticism I can think of was that some, though not all, of the electronics were pretty dated (eg., cassette player in dining area). We were in the Champagne Lodge, which had a heated and secure garage, ideal for my wife to go hiking and snowshoeing while I used the shuttle to go to the ski resort, just a few minutes away. We booked a five day family ski trip for four at Trappeurs Crossing and stayed in condo 2206 at Timberline Lodge. The condo was a two bedroom with a den. It was large, comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Although the condo backed up to a road, road noise didn't prove to be much of a distraction. During the flight back to Texas, we agreed that we […] liked condo well enough to stay there again. Other thought...the shuttle provides regular service from early morning to around 530p. It's also available on call until around 1030 or 11p. The shuttle makes a car unnecessary so you can save a few dollars by taking a non-resort shuttle from Hayden to Steamboat then use the Trappeurs Crossing shuttle for everything from skiing to grocery runs and dinner. The condo we stayed in was in Timberline Lodge. It was extremely nice and very comfortable. The pool and hot tubs were just outside the front door of the lodge. The condo was supposed to be 2 bedrooms but there was actually a third bedroom that was a nice surprise for us so our 2 children did not have to share a bed which made them happy.We had a nice […] gas fireplace and a well equipped kitchen. We drove from Denver for a few days on the mountain. Location was great, free garage parking and a shuttle to the gondola. Staff was friendly, condo was spacious with fireplace and jetted tub. Great location, great service from the resort. The only down side if any is the size of the bedrooms and living room, but that would not stop me from booking here our next time to Steamboat. The unit/property had every convenience that we have at home. The foot of snow we got before Christmas was an added bonus and made the skiing that much better.

Family of four needing a quick weekend "Statecation". Great facility - loved that they had board games to borrow. The pools and hot tubs were a big hit with the kids. We're already looking to come back to the property during ski season.

I rarely give negative reviews, but we definitely had some issues here. I think most of the problems had to do with Hotels.com and their representation of Trappeur's Crossing. The pictures they show on Hotels.com are of nice, updated rooms. Our condo was built in the 70s, had very old appliances, no air conditioning and was certainly NOT 4.5 stars. […] I could have found something much nicer for less money in Steamboat. This complex has several different buildings, and unless you know you're going to stay in one of the new ones, this just isn't worth the money. Read more

Its a condo. The units have individual owners, so the furnishing may vary. There is no daily maid service (this is consistent with renting a condo versus a hotel room). We stayed there in the summer, but it looks like this woudl be a good ski place.

Our reservations were for 4 adults and 1 child 12 years old. We had a 2 bedroom with on double bed with a window in one room and a very small bedroom with twin beds and no window. Only place for a 5 was on the sofa which was not a sofa bed. No sheets or pillow for the sofa. It was very hot in the rooms and no air conditioning. very comfortable stay. All suites are privately owned. We stayed in # 2310, it was tastefully decorated and was super comfortable for us as well as our children. The only thing I would have changed was the temperature of the pool........ a tad chilly. We are looking forward to visiting again!

My son and I stayed at this condo in Steamboat Springs and completely enjoyed it. The condo was very clean and comfortable and plenty of room and amenities. There were plenty of pools and hot tubs for us to relax in and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge set us up for several days of fun activities so we just had to be ready […] for pick up at designated times. We drove to the condo from the Boulder area and didn't have to drive the car anywhere after we arrived until ready to leave. There were vans that took us everywhere and picked us up, the timing was always within 10 minutes of us calling as well. We will be staying here on all our stays. We arrived on Friday, just in time for the complimentary Happy Hour. Got to try several local brews and talk with others who had been on the slopes that day. Was fantastic. Variety of snacks...nuts, chicken wings, egg rolls, meatballs, cheeses, fruits, cookies. Basically this was our dinner. We went up to our room. Was advertized as 1 BR, 2 Bath, but […] we found was really 2 BR with 2 baths (nice surprise) so the den was not a bedroom. had a gas fireplace on timer wonderful for warming up quickly. Beautiful views of the lighted pine trees. The fitness center and hot tubs (both indoor and outdoors) were clean and large enough for a group. Never crowded. Nice locker/shower facility and towels provided. Underground parking kept us from having to de-ice the car (great since it snowed 12 inches in the 5 days we were there). Lockers for skies were convenient and kept mess out of condos. The shuttle service was the best. They took you anywhere you wanted within 10 minutes of your call. Incredible service. This place is magical. The staff was even amazing enough to ship us the bag we left behind that had our IPOD in it. The lodge was cozy and clean. The shuttle service to the gondola was so perfect that it made ski-in unnecessary. The hot chocolate was always ready. I will only stay at Trapper's when I visit Steamboat.
