Four female Ministers were on vacation, we drove over 300 miles from NC on a budget to rest and have good clean fun. We arrived an hour early before check-in, our room were ready and staff was so helpful and cheerful. The only complaint we had was the last night guest checked in with children and the children played, and jumped from 3 that afternoon until 3 am the next morning. Even with that we are looking forward to staying at The Wild Wing Resort again next year or sooner. Thank you Wild Wing Staff for making our stay wonderful and safe.

Have stayed here twice, and both times it was great. If you like being on the beach this isn't the place for you, its about 8 miles to the beach. However, if you like feeling like your at home & not in a hotel this is the place to stay. Great for families and golfers, its surrounded by a golf course. The children enjoy the turtles in the ponds that are right beside the building. The staff are very friendly & accommodating. Will stay here again the next time we visit Myrtle Beach.

Pros: Big place for a small price, quiet area, nice staff, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer. Cons: arrived a couple hours early, so we may have rushed the maid service. Master bath had mildew stains on grout in shower and my daughter complained of hairs on the shower curtain in 2nd bath. Kitchen floor & cabinet door at sink had something sticky on them. From other reviews, I expected it to be a little cleaner. Would recommend getting daily maid service(extra $)as extra towels are not provided(you get 6 for entire stay and my wife had to do laundry everyday. Also needs a red light at Hwy 501, very dangerous. Still, overall it was fine for the price.

The 2 bedroom suite was extremely comfortable with a big kitchen/living room area. I did not get a chance to take advantage of the 27 holes of golf at the resort, but what I saw looked very nice. There's a pool right there, and the people in the resort office were very accomodating. We arrived at night, and our keys were left for us in a lock box. We could walk to our room from the resort office. It's also close to several golf courses and only about 15 minutes to Myrtle Beach.

Location was convenient to Coastal Carolina University (I was visiting my daughter for parents weekend). Two negative things: 1)Guest services closes at 6 pm 2)They had laid out lime in the gardens, the smell was horrible. I'm not sure if they put the lime to kill an odor or if the lime was the source of the odor, but it reeked.

The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I didn't want to leave the resort for the amusement park and beach. The pool was nice, and the spa was hot. The area was beautiful. If booking through Hotels.com be sure you contact the resort directly regarding checking in after 6 pm since the office closes early. Management company should be checking out the rooms to verify functionality of equipment and furniture. The sofabed in the living room was in disrepair, so once we opened it up, it stayed in that position all week. Called the front desk after the first morning and the repair person checked it out, said he would see what he could do about a possible replacement, but we did not hear from him again the entire week. That was disappointing. The traffic on the main road from the resort was horrendous and dangerous. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our entire vacation.
