"Not bad in a pinch"
We stayed here as a last resort when a blizzard came and disrupted our original plan to travel to Monarch ski area. It took 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk at 11 pm and their version of a continental breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. The room was fine and the beds were comfortable, but this place is definately a budget hotel. […] Also, why can't the spa be open before 4 pm? Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice a close to the slopes at an affordable price"
Really enjoyed the management and the location. Would be nice if the Hot tub were outside but it worked and was Hot and peaceful. Just need Coffee pots in the room...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very happy"
I booked a room here because it was the cheapest I could find when I got stranded up in the mountains skiing on my own when a friend got hurt and had to head back down early. I only stayed for one night, but they let me store my bags in a closet during the day while I skied before I checked in, and then let me do the same the next day after I checked […] out. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly and helped make what could have been a disaster of a weekend quite enjoyable for me. The room was also very clean and much nicer than I was expecting. The hotel is about a 7-10 minute walk from the Peru lift and the Mountain House base (where there are plenty of lockers to store your shoes/etc during the day). Great option for a place to stay if you are looking to spend your money on skiing rather than lodging. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Value, Great Location"
I would definitely stay here again. It was a great value, the rooms were large and clean. The gents at reception were very kind. Location is great, blocks from river run area and base of slopes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Value"
This was a good value, basic room with a comfy enough bed & cable tv. Pros: Inexpensive, close to the mountain & free eggos and bagels in the morning. Cons: The beverage vending machine was sold out of everything, there wasn't a hairdryer in the room as specified & a manager has to let you into the hot tub room personally.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to ski slopes"
Our stay was comfortable. The hotel was somehow overbooked so our room with two double beds turned into a room with a queen and a roll-away, but the room was very comfortable and roomy and we all slept fine. The hotel is a bit of walk to the slopes, but we just drove over and parked in the free lot at Keystone which was no big deal. The price was great […] and the staff was super friendly and helpful. "Comfy, Clean, hotel for the ski bum"
Hotel was simple, clean, and comfortable. Some of the layout with the shelf in the closet was a bit odd, but overall it's a comfy place to crash if your main purpose is solely to hit the slopes. It's a place for ski bums ;-)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient, Comfortable, and Priced Right."
Very comfortable bed(s), roomy suite, and great complimentary samples as well as a decent continental breakfast. Only complaint was that the front lot was plowed and shoveled however; the rear lot was neglected. I would stay here again for sure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and cannot beat the price"
Right across the street from Keystone Resort. Rooms were outdated but clean and perfect for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Economy on the slopes"
You get what you pay for. Great price compared to surrounding options, clean, comfortable. Ignore the comments from over 1 year ago - could see no signs of these issues.Breakfast is very basic - would not cost hotel much to include some hard boiled eggs, cold meats, cheese slices to put in the bagels etc to fuel up for a day of skiing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ski Keystone"
Fabulous place. I do think the "short walk" to the lifts isn't so short.: by Google maps it is 1812 feet or about 0.325 miles to the Mountain House lodge (and thus the Peru lift). Even as an outdoorsman - in ski boots - that is a bit more than a "short walk". The motel is very clean, homey, and has the location (previous withstanding) for food, groceries, […] liquor, and ski rentals. The front desk is EXTREMELY helpful. No doubt this is a premium place. "Great Location Trying Hard See Better Days Ahead"
Location is great. Seems like the new management is trying hard to improve the property. A place to crash for a night or two but don't expect anything fancy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic Location, Great Price, Average Hotel"
This is an average hotel, but with a fantastic location and good price. New ownership in November 2012 has brought improvements such as memory foam mattress toppers, flat screen TVs, free continental breakfast, clean rooms, and very friendly and helpful staff. I got a fantastic price at below $100/night thru Hotels.com during the fairly busy spring […] break week in mid-March. The continental breakfast includes a nice variety of fresh bagels, cinnamon raison bread, small toaster waffles, instant oatmeal and some fruit, plus apple juice, orange juice and coffee. The location is fantastic – on US highway 6 directly across from Keystone Resort’s “Mountain House” area and two of the Keystone ski lifts. The free Keystone shuttle picks up right in front if you want to head into the Keystone “River Run Village” area for shopping, dining or hanging out. You can rent ski gear at a variety of locations that are within walking distance (Mountain View Sports and Snowdance Sports are right across the street). The hotel has a big group-sized hot Jacuzzi and a sauna. I didn’t use either but they seemed popular with other guests. If you want the “resort experience” stay at one of the more expensive places in River Run Village, but if you are looking for a comfortable hotel with a great location but at an affordable price, be sure to check this place out. "Great 2 star IMHO"
I would say 3 star. The hotel is under new management and they are making an effort. It is not the Ritz or a fancy condo, but a great, clean place to stay and very convenient for skiing Keystone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location"
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is older but is maintained very well. Don't expect gorgeous decor, it's just functional. But everything was super neat and clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The free shuttle was located just outside the hotel, too. For the location and price, I would definitely go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ski trip convenience"
I was somewhat skeptical when booking this place online. The pictures are never clear enough and often hide the "bad" that you will only discover once you have arrived. There was some confusion on the booking despite the clear description on my booking paperwork, and the staff worked quickly to make the corrections neccesary to satisfy my reservation. […] The lodge was within walking distance of the base lifts at the ski resort, but imo not a comfortable walk. We drove across the street all three days. There were others that walked, but walking in ski boots is not pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The mini fridge came in handy, but there was no coffee pot in the room. The front desk had coffee and a simple breakfast (fruit, baggles and waffles). Overall I would stay here again, the staff was polite and helpful, rates seemed reasonable for the area, shopping and skiing was close by, and I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. "ski vacation"
great place to crash. We have stayed here twice now on Sun evenings during a 3 day weekend to be able to ski Keystone or Breckenridge on Mon. it is close to Keystone. Decent food near by and makes it convenient to ski and sleep. Their complimentary breakfast is decent. Oatmeal and tangerines to hit the slopes works well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Walking distance to ski slopes."
The management has changed in the last two months and big improvements have been made to the inn. The small lobby is very pleasant. The jacuzzi is large and just right after a day of skiing. Eric and Charlie were very helpful, especially as I had to send some emergent faxes and email attachments, which they helped me with. The breakfast is a bit skimpy […] but adequate. The free Wi-Fi was nice. I was there with the rest of the family (two teenagers) and all had a great experience. The Keystone lifts are literally across the street. Kudos to the new management. "Clean economic alternative"
The Arapahoe Inn is what you pay for. It's a clean economic alternative to the expensive resorts in Keystone. The location is fabulous and the service was good. Just don't expect the Ritz because that's not what this place is by a long shot. But if you want a good location and a clean room, this is where you want to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I don't know what other reviewers were expecting.."
I don't know what some of the other reviewers were expecting, but we got exactly what we needed out of this hotel. Nothing more, nothing less. We paid under $100 for the night plus insane tax for a single room in August, and it actually looked a bit newer and cleaner than a comparably priced hotels elsewhere. We had trouble checking in (nobody at desk, […] nobody answered phone...) but after wandering the hotel a bit we managed to find what I guess is the staff lounge and knocked on the door. After that, we had no issues. The room was clean and had a ton of free samples of hair gel, toothpaste, mints, body wash, etc. There was no TV because apparently the cable company shuts it off in the summer, but we just needed a few hours sleep so we didn't need a TV anyway. The room also came with a fridge and microwave which was an added bonus. Breakfast was pretty dismal but at this price range I don't expect much. It's not a resort, but from what I can tell they aren't charging resort prices-- it's a budget hotel in a nice resort town and I would probably stay again if we were in the area. "Typical for a bad hotel but way overpriced."
It sucked. I payed a lot for a hotel with a small uncomfortable bed, no shower curtain, broken TV and terrible breakfast. They were supposed to supply some type of breakfast...and they did. Bagels and frozen waffles but only hot coffee to drink. The juice station was broken. I was going to ask if they had any water but trying to find someone at the […] desk is just as hard as playing where's Waldo. WAY overpriced. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel stay"
We were moved to another room because the cable is shut off during the summer hours in the second floor rooms? and we had children so we needed television. It was nice because we didn't have any additional out of pocket expenses. The room was clean and the hotel staff was very nice with any requests we had.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"PERFECT INEXPENSIVE STAY"
As a single woman, I was surprisingly pleased with my stay after reading the reviews. The room was clean, bed comfortable, staff pleasant. Room did not have a hair dryer, which was the only problem as I was attending a wedding that evening. Location and room rates perfect. I would definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A real deal"
In times when a good photo can easily fool us, and with reviews all over the place, this Inn delivered exactly what they promised and some more. They are a friendly and simple establishment , conveniently located close to all nearby towns. I was there in summer and if you are a hiker, biker, outdoorsy person, or if you want to enjoy Dillon, Breckenridge, […] Frisco without paying their prices, this is the right place. The price was more than reasonable, and I hope to be back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
