"a "quality" Inn."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very comfortable bed and sufficient space to enjoy our stay. Location was excellent and easy to access the Interstate. It was not a true 'suite' in that there was not separate rooms, only a half wall that divided the bed area from the lounging area, however if the sofa is to be used the half wall is a good feature.

It was perfect...just what I needed. I would definitely return to this hotel.

"Off Season Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
The hotel was nice and well located. It was near the downtown area which made it nice for my family who came with me on the trip. The staff was friendly and helpful with whatever I needed. The hotel itself was nice including the room which was decorated lodge style. I came off season so there were very few people there which made it nice and quiet for us. One complaint would be that it had no AC. The hotel offered box fans so we opened a window to pull some cool air in. This was not an issue but might have been if we were there during regular season and had people out in the pool area making noise. The room also had a washer and dryer. When we used the dryer it could make the room quite hot and uncomfortable if a fan was not going and a window was not open. The only other minor complaint would be the placement of some furniture. The room we were in had a couch which had a hide away bed. Across from it was another chair. My kids slept on the bed so when it was out you had barely enough room ( approx. 1 foot) to maneuver past. Other than that it was a great stay.

"Arapahoe Inn"
There were dar stains on the walls in the bathroom near the toilet paper (looked suspicious for poop) and in the main room. The sheets and mattress cover slipped off the mattress every night leaving us in a wrap of sheets; preventing a good night's rest. The reservation was non refundable, so once we found the above concerns, we felt stuck. The "breafast" […] was frozen waffles and bagels; 2 toasters for all the guests. The OJ was good. Hottub at times looked cloudy. Read more

We had the family suite. Large and spacious. TV needed to be a flat screen. Sofa bed sloped towards feet. We just removed matress placed on floor worked better. Mini Fridge freezing cold. Theres no staff on hand most of the time, and when we needed him he wasn't very friendly. No coffee available,no maker in room or lobby. Went to check out At 7 am there's was a sign that checkout is 730 and no ones around come back at 730 and still no ones but there's a bin to put your room key in, so why couldn't it be there the whole time Very stupid!!!!!!!!! "Great Location"
Not sure what the fuss is all about from other reviewers. I stayed here with a friend during a trip to Keystone and Breck and the hotel was fine. Is it a 5-star hotel? No. But is it a decent budget option if you're looking to spend a night or two in the Keystone area? Absolutely. I have to add that the location is great. It's about a 2 min drive from […] Keystone and there are several great restaurants within walking distance. I personally would stay here again next time I go to Keystone. Read more
"Decent hotel"
This was a decent hotel considering it was the cheapest in a 45 minute radius of Vail. I wasn't expecting that much. But I wasn't disappointed either.
"The Hotel Arapahoe Inn under maintained"
The hotel was comfortable and had a nice eating area, but the room carpeting was so old that the nail strip was exposed into the bathroom and we stepped on it a number of times. The hot water in the room was scalding hot at times, the bathroom fan was extremely dusty, and the heater was starting to fail making magnet noises every time it came on. The […] Sauna was not operating and the first day the Hot tub temp was only 99 degrees. Read more
"rude front desk"
The gentleman at the front desk was awful. My 12 year old son put money in the vending machine, the candy got stuck! He asked the man at the front desk for help...he pointed to the 800 number and said "call that number" The towels should be burned...the face and bath towels where like sand paper!!

"Arapaho inn"
Very happy with our stay at the inn. Charming staff extremely accommodating, free breakfast perfect including backpack friendly items, hot tub was wonderful, room was clean, and fantastic location near food, liquor store, and ski slope! Will certainly return!
"Arapahoe Inn - Keystone"
Generally, well satisfied. Clean room, good price (compared to other lodges/condos), convenient. Would have liked more variety for continental breakfast...
"Close to Keystone Ski Resort"
We decided to give this hotel a shot because we drove by it numerous times on our way to Keystone Ski Resort. We knew it wasn't going to be a 5 star hotel and we were OK with that. However, it was a bad decision to stay. The front desk staff was rude and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. I recommend spending the extra money […] and stay at a slightly more expensive hotel for a trip to Keystone. Read more
"Great Location"

"Arapahoe Inn (No Go)"
Arapahoe Inn is a place that I would never go back to. They do not try to solve any of your problems and force you where ever they want and my room had door to one other room which I could hear people talk and laugh in the other room, very uncomfortable. "Arapahoes Inn, simply good"
If you want to go skiing in keystone, it is still better to drive with your car to the resort-parking is free at Keystone, but you could walk if you have your skis at the resort. The location is very conveniently next to a restaurant and liquor store. The room is simple but clean. The hot tub is huge and very nice. The room even had a bath tub and the […] personal is very friendly. If I go skiing in Colorado again I will be in this hotel again for sure! Read more
"Good location for a good priced, basic hotel"
This hotel is in a convenient location-short drive to slopes, next to Dos Locos Restaurant, and across the street from The Goat. It is a good price for a basic hotel. It is nice to have additional amenities like a dining table with chairs, refrigerator, and microwave though they could be more generous with the amount of towels, pillows, & blankets. […] Sometimes the doors stick when trying to close or lock them but the rooms were clean & accomodating. Read more

"Price indicates quality in this case"
Much cheaper than the resort hotels. Desk staff was nice but marginally helpful when key cards would not work. Room had good amount of space to get a little work done on my laptop but furnishings old and run down. Water temperature was the minimum tolerable for a shower in the morning even at the hottest setting. Was going to say something to staff […] but desk was unoccupied when I checked out. Read more

"Arapahoe Inn, Keystone, CO"
This motel was ok. Not fancy, but it was clean and quiet. I arrived shortly after 10 PM and left before 7 AM. I didn't see a single human during that time-no clerks, no staff, no guests. My room entry key was on the counter with my name on it along with several others. At check out there was a box in which to put the room entry card. It was entirely […] bizarre. While uncomplicated, it was eerie. As it was the toilet malfunctioned and there was no one to call. It is not at the top of my list for a return visit, but it served the purpose. I slept well. "Not Impressed"
The man that ran the hotel gave us very poor customer service and was rude to us when we decided to sit on the couches in the lobby from 2:30pm til 4:00pm since we found out the lobby was closed from 10am-4pm after arriving and hoping to check in early. WILL NEVER COME THERE AGAIN HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
"Skiing in May"
We stayed here the first week in May to ski A-basin.I believe this is the closest place to the slopes, about 10 minutes away. There were only a couple of guests staying, so it was very quiet. Overall it was fine, just didn't like that they charged per person for the rooms.
"Good location..."
You probably don't want to spend a lot of time in this hotel. Get in, sleep and leave the next morning. The staff is interesting but they are getting ready for a renovation and it shows. They are putting no effort into the property now (March). Brown scum floating on the hot tub, the room was not vaccuumed once during our week long stay, big hole in […] the wall from the door handle hitting it, towels in the shower were paper- towel thin much like the mattresses. They had the nerve to leave a tip envelope in the room. Pretty disappointing overall. If you want high carbs/ low nutritional value for breakfast your set. It was within walking distance to the ski slopes. Read more

"Arapahoe Inn….Disgusting, Rude & in a Great Locati"
I could not find any other rooms in Dillon or Keystone so I decided to take the last available room at the Arapahoe Inn. The experience was horrible. Our room smelled like vomit and after investigation we found that one of our two beds had been thrown up on, literally, and not cleaned well. While the sheets and comforter were “clean” (to the eye) they […] smelled horribly. When we made the manager aware he provided us sheets to change but said he didn’t have any more comforters. While changing our own sheets we discovered that it was the mattress itself that stunk. We called the front desk employee and asked for more help. He eventually came and we removed the mattress from our room. We then spent most of the night with our window open trying to air the place out…..what a horrible experience. If there had been a room available within 20 miles we would have left…. I would not recommend this Inn to anyone…while the location is excellent the experience will leave you hating life. Read more
"Excellent location for Keystone skiers"
Best thing about this hotel is the location - I was able to walk to the Mountain House base area of Keystone. Rented skis from Mountain View Sports which is right next store to the hotel. Plus the bus/shuttle service as mentioned previously. As for the accommodations, they were fine for me (traveling alone and just came to ski). Here's a recap: Pros: […] The room was large, temperature control was good, microwave and fridge were very convenient, wireless internet worked fine. The TV was small but I wasn't there much to watch it, so I had no problem with it. No in-room coffemaker, but coffee was always available in the lobby which was okay with me. Cons: Gave just two small/scratchy towels and after the first day, almost no bathroom amenities. Worst part was the pillows - one was a brick and the other was thin and limp. Finally, the hot tub desperately needed a water change. Still, I would go back there, just for the location and the price, which was relatively low compared to the on-resort rates. Read more
"Arapahoe Inn - Pretty decent hotel"
Pretty decent hotel. It is the cheapest in that area, so it live up to expectations.
"Arapahoe Inn at Keystone, CO - only good for sleep"
Check-in was fine at 1a.m. However, the next morning the desk clerk was very rude and obvioulsy disliked his job. This is the second time this has happened with two different desk clerks. It is obvious to me that customer satisfaction and the fact that "cutomer's come first" is not taught or encouraged at this hotel. As long as you're only there to […] sleep and not need a single thing from the front desk, your stay will be fine; and God forbid you ask them a question about the free public transportation! If it's common knowledge to a local, shame on you for even bringing it up!! Read more
"great location to keystone mountain resort."
Chose this hotel for the location.Across from Keystone mountain resort and you can walk to the chairlift.Didnt need a car because there is a free bus service and keystone itself has a shuttle service.Quite a few restaurants and stores within walking distance from the Inn.Summit county bus service is free and you can get all over the county.I was able […] to go to Breckenridge on the bus it took about thirty minutes nice ride. Also you can get to Arapahoe basin just five miles away.Front desk people were great. The heater in my room was awesome it would sweat you out if you wanted it to.That was important because it went down to -38 while i was there.Must be well insulated as well because my room heated up very fast and stayed that way.Great view from the room you can see the slopes and some nights it gets lit up with lights. The bed i would rate as medium the mattress could have been softer but was acceptable.Room had a desk ,smaller tv with basic cable, fridge and microwave and dining table.Maid service could have been a little more detailed but was acceptable. The inn provides free wifi which had a good speed.I would stay here again.Keystone mountain is awesome for riding lots of terrain and some nice back bowls. The trees were nice also. "Far from luxurious, there are much better options"
We were extremely disappointed in this hotel, especially for the price rate they charge. The room was clean and the location was convienent. But, that's it. The room was dark and run down. The television was tiny (couldn't see it from the bed) , had no remote, and was about one step above a portable black and white tv. The "high-speed" wireless internet […] was slow and intermittent. The beadspread was torn, the headboard was hanging loose and crooked above the bed, the pillows were awful, and the you could feel the springs through the bed. The bath towels were about the same size as a hand towel. It looked like at one time there was a mini-fridge in the room, but there wasn't when we stayed; just a empty counter with a hole cut out in it. Usually, similar hotels or inns have a small coffeepot and coffee in the room; our room certainly did not. The continential breakfast started really late, and was not very good. We ended up getting coffee and snacks at the nearby gas station, which was better. This was probably one of the worst hotels that I have stayed in, so much for our romantic weekend getway. Read more
"Arapahoe Inn - Great value $ location for Skiers"
We had a great time in Keystone and will definitely stay here again. For the money, you can't beat the location and the room was huge. I don't know why so many people had problems w/ the hotel staff, the guy we met was very friendly and helpful. Jacuzzi was excellent after a long day on the slopes too!
"Comfortable Stay"
Great location for the $. Room was clean, check in and out was fast. Beds were a little soft but was a great deal for location.
"Not bad for the price"
This was one of the cheapest hotel rooms available during peak season near Keystone. Overall our stay was fine with the following complaints: bathroom door did not lock, hotel door did not lock (although when I mentioned this to the manager he said I probably just needed to pull up on the door when closing it since the lock is heavy), and there were […] loud drunk people across from us (I understand this can happen anywhere). Continental breakfast was very simple...white bread for toast or bagels. Got back too late for the jacuzzi but it looked nice and hot! Read more
"Great location and good price"
The hotel/inn was nice, very homey, warm and friendly atmosphere. The room was nice, warm and pretty much worth the price. It is right across from the lifts at Keystone so its a great location - also next to several restaurants-2-3 min walking distance
"Good location, dirty sheets"
The location to the Keystone resort is excellent. It's about a 5 minute drive. I even saw some people walking. The rooms were outdated and uncomfortable. One of my chairs was on the verge of breaking and was rocking when not designed to. The pillows were flat and bothered my neck. The worst part of my experience was how uncomfortable and stiff the beds […] were. Additionally, there was blood stains on my sheets which was very disturbing. However, the jacuzzi and sauna were very nice after a long day of snowboarding. Overall, if you are planning for a somewhat affordable place to stay close to Keystone and don't care about cleanliness or a sanitary room, this might be the place for you. Read more

"Meh."
Economical choice, or as much as one exists in a ski town. Clean, but dated furnishings, linens clean, but beds worn, carpet in need of repair- impaled my foot on an exposed carpet tack near bathroom. Slightly antisocial guy at desk seems as if he's trying to get people not to stay there- neither friendly nor hospitable, but only had limited contact […] with him, so no big deal. Nice hot tub and sauna. Locals are known to pronounce this hotel name with a "c" in front of it. Read more

The hot tub was very large, but not fully functional. Misc issues with the sink and light switch. Don't wait for the office to open. There is no posted checkout policy. And too bad if you want a receipt. But it's OK for a one night stand. Ask for the north side (traffic noise).
"Arapahoe Inn, Keystone, CO"
This isn't the Lodge, but it is 1/3 the price. Clean, coffee 24/7 and close to everything in Keystone. Just wish the guests would stop "borrowing" the clock radios.

"Worst Hotel Experience Ever!"
The toilet didn't work in the room. so we asked for another room. We were told there was nothing with two queens. After insisting that a toilet is a pretty basic request, we were moved to a smoking room. The sheets had not been washed in either bed since slept in last, although re-made. "A Little Creepy"
My sister & I stayed at The Arapahoe Inn for a little get away. We didn't expect it to be so creepy! It seemed there was only one person working there, the numbers on the doors were peeling off, the ice machine was broken... when we asked if there was another machine the man rudely told us to walk to the store. We made some snacks & cocktails and went […] to the hot tub room where the sauna was broken and we got locked in the room!
