Hotel staff very friendly. nice lobby, good breakfast with fresh fruits and no plastic dishes. After complaining about the size of suite we were sold for 5 persons (definitely too small and not a fair sale) we were given complimentary upgrade to a two bed room suite by the manager which was very much appreciated. Free parking and free wireless internet are very convenient as well as close access to highway and airport.

Free shuttle to the hotel from airport. Nice exercise room and pool. Room was very comfortable, staff friendly, and hotel was well-maintained and clean. Shuttle provided by hotel to points of interest and cruiseport. Definite return stay next time catching a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale.

Location.
The Royal Palm South Beach Resort, located in Miami Beach, Fla., is an oceanfront property positioned in South Beach's Art Deco district. This hotel stands two blocks from the Bass Museum of Art.
Hotel Features.
This hotel consists of two restored 1930s Art Deco buildings and two modern towers. The ocean-view Britto Restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch, prepares continental and American fare, while the Sunset Bar serves poolside cocktails and snacks. The hotel provides 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided in public areas. Fax, photocopy and print services are available adjacent to two Internet kiosks. The hotel's manicured grounds include two outdoor pools. The pool area features exterior fireplaces and a small shop that offers beach toys and tanning products. The beach concierge provides lounge chairs, radio headsets and facial towels. Ocean breezes cool the covered outdoor fitness facility. Other on-site recreational amenities include table tennis, an oversized chessboard and a play area. The hotel schedules children's supervised indoor crafts and outdoor activities. Pets are permitted with restrictions.

The Royal Palm South Beach Resort offers 417 guestrooms, many with ocean or city views. Accommodations feature 1920s Miami Beach photographs and earth-tone color schemes. Beds are draped in 330-thread count striped sateen linens. Room amenities include wireless Internet access, satellite television and CD players. Coffeemakers are included. Bathrooms are stocked with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries.

Britto's Restaurant - Colorful Romero Britto originals on the walls provide a sense of whimsy to this casual restaurant with indoor and terrace seating, overlooking the swimming pool. Serves Mediterranean and American cuisine. Menu items include hummus plates, Mediterranean wraps, and sandwiches. Open for breakfast and lunch. Full bar.
Island Oasis - A poolside bar serving pizza, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and tropical cocktails. Open from mid-morning until early evening.
Deco Lounge/Sunrise Café - Coffee and pastries are available in the morning; cocktails are served from late afternoon until late evening.
A 15-by-30-foot outdoor splash pool is set amidst lush landscaping. A second splash pool, measuring 15-by-15 feet, is located on the upper deck.
An outdoor, beachfront, covered fitness area includes a treadmill, stair machine, strength-training equipment, and free weights. A children's play area is also available.
The Royal Palm provides direct access to the white-sand beach; a daily resort fee includes use of chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas. Water-sports equipment rentals such as jet skis and parasails are available along the beach. A boardwalk behind the hotel is popular for walking and jogging.
Flamingo Park, a mile away, is a public park with a water playground for children, tennis and basketball courts, and baseball and soccer fields.
Two miles from the hotel, the historic Miami Beach Golf Club has an 18-hole course, driving range, and pro shop.
The concierge can arrange helicopter tours for guests (surcharge).

"Etwas anderes erwartet"
Als wir um 21:00 Uhr ankamen, war das Zimmer noch nicht bezugsbereit. Wir mussten in der Hotellobby ca 10 minuten warten wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt. Als wir dann endlich ins Zimmer konnten, fanden wir noch Kellogs Cornflakes auf dem Boden, Haare usw... Aber der Duschbprhang übertraf alles... Er war richtig grau und hatte Schimmel... Als wir dies […] meldeten, wurde er ausgewechselt. Auch wiesen wir den Congiers an, dass Zimmer richtig zu putztn, aber ohne Erfolg... Denke mal die Kellogs liegen heute noch dort... Die Zimmertür lies sich zwar schliessen, aber sie war soo undicht, man hörte alles. Sei es Kinder schreien, Leute welche nach Hause kamen usw... Aber am meisten, wenn sich die Türen schliessten, stand man fast im Bett... Der Strand welcher zum Hotel gehört war super, leider aber auch das einzige. Fazit für eine Nacht i.o. 3 Nächte waren zuviel. Read more

Fin anläggning i absolut bästa läge på South Beach. Inget att anmärka på vare sig det gäller personal, service eller rummets kvalitet. Uppvärmda pooler och kostnadsfria solstolar på den angränsande stranden, och hotellet ligger precis vid Lummus Park som är den bästa delen av hela stranden på en 1 mil långa Miami Beach. Tråkigt dock med de många extraavgifter […] som tillkommer vistelsen. Anläggningsavgiften är 150:-/natt (om den nu är obligatorisk varför ligger den inte inbakad i ursprungspriset?), parkeringen var dyr (nästan 300:-/natt) men det finns ett stort parkeringshus tvärs över gatan där man kommer lindrigare undan, kylskåp på rummet är inte standard utan kostar ytterligare nästan 200:-/natt. Dessa avgifter tillkommer säkert många andra hotell i området men för sitt goda läge och höga klass känns denna anläggning ändå prisvärd. Kan utan tvekan bo där igen vid eventuell framtida vistelse. Habe mit meiner besten Freundin einen Kurztrip ins RPT gemacht. Distanz zur Lincoln Road und Espagnola Way absolut perfekt, alles in sehr kurzer Gehdistanz. Beach- und Pooltender waren sehr zuvorkommen. Zimmer und Hotel im Allgemeinen war gut, sauber und komfortabel. Nächste Urlaub dort ist bereits in Planung.

Vi bemöttes av jättetrevlig personal på detta hotell. Vi blev dessutom uppgraderade från cityview till oceanview, vilken surprise! Jättestora lägenheter med 2 toaletter och 2 separata rum med kingsize sängar, TOPPEN!!! Varma rekommendationer!!!

"Localização ótima"
Pontos positivos: A localização é ótima, pois se tem acesso a pé a bons restaurantes e ainda às lojas da Lincoln, além de ter saída para a praia. É silencioso e os funcionários muito solicitos. Pontos negativos: No dia da chegada meu quarto não estava disponível então me colocaram em um recém reformado (dizendo que eu estava tendo um up grade), porém […] ainda com cheiro de tinta. A vista era ótima e o quarto bom, mas a limpeza deixava a desejar. Parece que não tinham limpado ainda após a reforma. E também não varriam o chão ao arrumar o quarto. Para me manterem neste quarto fui isenta da taxa de resort de 19 dólares por dias que todos tem que pagar, então aceitei. Outro detalhe é que são 40 dólares por dia para deixar o carro no estacionamento deles, o que achei bem salgado, então procurei um parking próximo. Read more
"Preis Leistung super"
Hatte ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und vor Ort ohne Aufpreis eine Suite mit Meerblick bekommen. Da Mobiliar ist sehr in der Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Täglich frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Super Service. Kann Ich nur weiter empfehlen.

habitaciones impecables salvo por la alfombra, algunas grandes, otras muy pequeñas, muy bien ubicado, el desayuno quedaba lejos, no estaba a mano, piscinas climatizadas que disfrutamos mucho. Lo recomiendo!
