I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my husband, and kids. The stay at the DoubleTree was very comfortable. The staff was pleasant. I would definately stay here again.

It was exceptionally enjoyable. I will definitely do it again. The hotel's ambiance and facilities were at the top of the curve and the staff were extremely professional, helpful and pleasant: it was as if they were part of my extended family.

The room is very comfortable and the service excellent. Only the bathroom is not pleased. The bathtub was obstructed (clogged) and the appearance of the bathroom was not the cleanest, as in the hotels where everything seems to be disinfected and thoroughly cleaned. The location is fantastic for shopping as the Sawgrass Mills Mall is but a stones throw away. The shuttle is complimentary and takes you anywhere within a 3 mile radius which includes the mall, walmart, ross, publix and many restaurants including TGIF, Chillis, applebees and steak n Shake. I recently stayed here and the front desk clerk named WIll was so rude and obnoxious. The shuttle service was supposed to start at 5:30 am but Will refused to ring the driver at 6:45am stating that the shuttle driver was completing important paperwork. I tried to explain how the shuttle was not a problem the previous week but all I got was an eye roll […] and a "one minute please". I attempted to escalate to the manager on duty but was told he was out sick. A hotel manager did call my room and left message that he was going to being me a warm cookie for my troubles. I'm not 3 years old and I didnt want a cookie- I wanted good service. Anyway, I never got the cookie. The hotel was okay and great spot close to sawgrass mall- but the employees need to get fired. Arrived in the room and in the microwave was a piece of chicken left over from previous guest...it was gross, since my party are vegans. But the location was good, the staff was pleasant, friendly. and the room was clean, altho there were carpet stains. Overall a good stay, and would definitely recommend. We thought it was very good for the price. Clean and comfortable - better than some we've paid twice as much for. Great air conditioning and quiet which are both important to us. Good amount of tv channels and a few HBOs to choose from. Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies.

Hotel was great. The only complaint I have is it would have been nice to have extended dining options--11pm was the cut-off. The fresh baked cookie upon arrival was a nice touch!

This is the perfect place to stay if you are attending a concert or event at Bank Atlantic Center! They have a shuttle that takes you there and back which saves you the money and headache of parking at the event! The staff is terrific and very helpful!!

Overall, the stay was good. The warm cookies at check-in were a nice touch, however they had nuts and both my children are allergic to nuts, so the cookies went to waste. The room was clean, except the grout in the shower could be redone. The VIP Lounge was nice.

Hotel was very clean and in a great location relative to the surrounding spots of interest (Bank Atlantic Center, Sawgrass Mall). No hotel in the area is closer. Had a shuttle to the Bank Atlantic Center, which was convenient. Bar w/big screen TV in lobby was great. The double tree by Sawgrass Mills has the most amazing front desk staff!! Our check in was one of the best. They were friendly and helpful! The location was perfect for shopping and food options. The hotel housekeeping however was horrendous!! Our room was filthy....somebody's spare change was on the night stand (not ours), there was some type of grease […] smeared on the window, a dark substance splattered on bathroom door, almost no toilet paper, the floor was dirty, and the only sign that a housekeeper had been in there was that the bed was made, however, I doubt the sheets were fresh. We only stayed one night, so at check out we made reference to the desk clerk, who said they would handle it for the future. It's such a shame that one bad housekeeper could do such damage to what was a beautiful hotel, with an otherwise great staff!! Read more

There was a housekeeping issue. Our room had not been vacuumed, there was some sort of grease smudge on the window. No toilet paper in the bathroom. In the closet next to the room safe was a bag of garbage. The bathroom door appeared to have blood or hair dye on it. We were in quite a hurry to keep a lot of appointments, so when we checked in, we didn't […] complain. Later that night, when we noticed ALL the issues, I regretted not asking for another room. This hotel was quite out of the way and no airport shuttle service. The bar closed at 10:00 on a Friday night so we had to walk across the street to Applebee's. The room was fine, but not worth the price for the out of the way location and no onsite dining amenities available after 10:00. The cab ride from the airport was $50.

The issue was that every pillow and comfortor in the room including the extras in the closet were made with down feathers. My wife is alergic to down feathers so we had to call for additional bedding items. While the staff was prompt to remedy the situation it shouldn't have been a necessity. We were very pleased with our stay. Bed was extremely comfortable, the elevators have locks on them for after hours so you can not use them without a key. The pool was heated and clean. The jacuzzi left a bit to be desired because the jets didn't work but overall, I'd recommend this hotel to stay in.

I have used the expedia unpublished rate twice and ended up in a very nice Double Tree hotel. Only problem is that they give you the worst room in the hotel for your effort. In the first case I got a strange little corner room setup for handicap access. I stayed three nights and will definitely will come back; the service was great, everyone was very polite and helpful. The hotel is across the street from the Sawgrass Mills Mall in a nice neighborhood. Friday's is right behind the hotel in case you don't want to try the hotel restaurant, which is a little pricey.
