The hotel is a nice convenient Hotel, and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are smaller, but have been updated and are comfortable. The breakfast room is nice overlooking the river.

Had it not been raining all weekend, this would've been a great place to explore Sheboygan. It was right on the river and there are tons of restaurants within walking distance. I have stayed at Harbor Winds before and wanted to give it another chance. But I never feel like I am a welcome guest there. I feel like a bother. We were a bit early for check-in. Even though rooms were ready, we were informed that they didn't have to take us at that time. Notes on the ice machine inform guests that that is the only machine and not […] to use too much ice. I know that people take advantage of these things, but I am a paying guest. A 2nd mirror in the room would be a nice addition -- 1 mirror for couples getting dressed can be challenging. Otherwise i would say the room was well equipped and the hotel's location is very convenient.

Very nice location. Room was clean and breakfast was great. The bed linens were strange. They had a white sheet, a down comforter, and a sheet. No bedspread. It did not make it look very inviting. I asked if they forgot to make up the bed and they said no that was what they have recently gone to for bed linens. Not a warm feeling!

Check in process was quick and the staff were pleasant. Basic breakfast in the morning and room was clean. I was attending a wedding and only needed the room for one night.

This is a very nice & clean, updated hotel. However, if you want to sleep, this is not the place to go. The walls are paper thin and we could hear every noise outside the door. The night clerk at the front desk, which was just down the hall from our room, must have had a cold because he was coughing all night long and he may as well have been in the […] room with us. He must have gone off duty at around 1 am, because I finally fell asleep, only to be awakened by footsteps above at 4 am. The floor (ceiling) creaked and groaned with every step. This went on for two hours (who takes two hours to get ready to go out?). At 6:30 am, the free continental breakfast service began, so now we could hear the microwave and waffle iron beeps, as well as voices of the early morning risers. It's a shame because the hotel itself is very nice, in an excellent location. If you go here, request a 2nd floor room in the back of the hotel. Read more

It was excellent, staff were very professional, friendly, room was very clean. It is a must to stay, my group will be back in late September for another conference in the area and of course will stay here again. The sights seeing in the evening along the side walk around the blue harbor was beautiful.

The hotel was clean, convientent and the staff was friendly. The one problem I did have was I couldn't get the wifi to work on my computer, which was inconvenient. The bathroom was very small where the shower and toilet was. It looked more like a closet. For the money I guess the hotel was decent.

Everyone we encountered was very helpful and nice! The breakfast was great, conditions were great, price was great ... My only complaint is they didn't have flatter pillows. Pillows were very large and bulky and I don't like sleeping on those. Housekeeping was helpful, but didn't have any different pillows :) Great place to stay otherwise!!!

The Harbor Winds is right next to the Sheboygan River, with breakfast room and many rooms overlooking the water. Rooms have both refrigeration and microwaves. The boardwalk, accessed by a door near the breakfast room, leads to a beautiful view of yachts, fishing boats and parks. One can walk nearly to Lake Michigan, and if a cut is made out to the road, […] all the way to the shore near the Sheboygan Yacht club. You can't beat a location by the water - Harbor Winds has it. But, for the room's price, it was small, NOISY, and not facing the water. There is no pool either. The bottomline is that we probably will look for a less expensive option next time we visit Sheboygan.

This is a no nonsense accommodation in a fantastic location. You can walk along the water to coffee and some cool shops. It's on the end of the town, but not a long walk at all to restaurants and more shops. The hotel is clean and simple, but priced fairly.
