Hotel staff were very attentive when my TV remote did not work. Sometimes could hear the Interstate traffic but all and all good place to stay for the price

This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. The only suggestion I made to the clerk when checking out was that they need a clock in the pool area.

"Business travel"
Have stayed here 3 times on business. Adequate and clean, but beds are hard and pillows are flat. Sometimes in the area I travel, it is Super 8 or a locally-owned motel. At least I can count on Super 8 being mostly consistent in quality.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Below Average Even for Super 8"
I booked this hotel based on other reviews and was very disappointed. The young lady working the front desk at check-in was not very friendly and didn't have a lot of knowledge of the small town as another guest asked her about a restaurant recommendation and she couldn't provide this. She was then unable to give me directions to where my room was in […] relation to the front door. One thing I find very strange is when a hotel spends money on new carpeting (which there was) and other nice amenities like vanity lighting but then does nothing to to create a comfortable sleeping environment as the mattress was one of the worst I have ever slept on. The thing that people are wanting the most, a comfortable night's sleep, was disregarded. The toilet didn't flush properly and the water pressure in the shower was poor. The sink didn't drain. The lever was disconnected and I tried to reconnect but it was broken. This made me wonder when the last time the sink had been cleaned as it would not drain. The hair dryer didn't work. This is also one of the last remaining hotels where the television only gets 20 channels and the selection was very poor. "The Super-8 in Crete, NE, Comfort in the Country"
We decided to stay outside of Lincoln to stay away from the football fanatics. The Super-8 in Crete was an oasis in a small town in the country. Staff was very efficient and friendly, the price was very fair, the room was very clean and everything worked fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
