"Good for price"
It was a nice place to stay. We only needed to sleep for the night and the heater worked very well considering it was like 20 outside!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"very comfortable bed"
it wasn't a plush room, kinda small, but the king sized bed was extremely comfortable.. I'd go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is in much need of work. Shabby. OK for just a stop over, but wouldn't stay more than one night. Bedding old, pillows odd. Toilet tank overflowed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy on and off of I-44"
Mattress was uncomfortable and we ended up with sore backs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Warm, Dry, Safe"
This hotel is a good choice if you are on a budget and need someplace warm, dry and safe. Beyond that it's a bit limited. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was average. Descent for the price you pay. Continental breakfast was better than some, with waffle maker.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Unclean, changed rooms due to malfunctioning g tv, breakfast lacking -- no fruit?!! -- and staff unresponsive when checking out (long wait, many bell rings before they came out from their sheltered back room!)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Bring Your Own Linen"
A clean and comfy room with minimal service. We asked for some extra pillows because the ones in the room was pretty limp. We got one additional limp pillow. The towels we worn-out, but clean and changed every day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was clean and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was clean, but hotel is showing its age. Breakfast selection was minimal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"convenience to major highways"
the location was good plenty of places to eat at a short distance some in walking distance very close to six flags which is great. the room was not a 5 star but was clean and comfortable for the price would do a return stay if in the areaGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great for our needs :)"
There have been plenty of negative reviews, so we were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Super 8 Eureka. It was just what we needed after a long day spent at Six Flags. The room was clean, including the fridge and microwave. I noticed a pretty nice breakfast setup, upon going to the front desk to request additional towels. The woman working was […] very accommodating. She hopped right up and retrieved more towels. I was running behind when checkout time came around, so I ran down to hand in our room keys (still with wet hair) and the woman behind the desk was just as friendly as the one that helped with our towels. She just asked which room. Nothing to sign. No additional charge for reentering our room to finish getting ready and to pack up our things. Even housekeeping was kind enough to allow us some extra time. Overall, even though it's an older building, we enjoyed our stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not very walk-friendly"
My husband and I stayed at this hotel because we were going to Six Flags. When we arrived, I had to make two trips back up to the desk because our room key card wouldn't work, then they moved us to another room. The room was clean; the bed was comfortable. However, Six Flags is not as "nearby" as you may think. We planned on walking to the Park, which […] may have been fine if there were decent walkways!! You have to walk along the narrow side of a busy road to get there. Most of the restaurants are the same way. Make sure you watch the weather, we had to walk back in the rain! Tried to call a cab, and the company told us we would have to wait 1-2 hours for a ride. So, the hotel was good enough, but may have planned differently if we know what we know now. "Decent hotel close to Six Flags"
Decent hotel at a great price. Daytime hotel staff friendly, night shift hotel staff seemed irritated I woke him up to get my hotel keyGenuine Expedia guest review
No real probs except why advertise as non-smoking & then place the outdoors smoking area right next to the hallway entrance door ! My room reeked of smoke smell.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"It was a bed to sleep in"
As a traveling Mfg. Rep I see lots of hotels nice ones and not so nice ones, I frequent Super 8 because of good prices and since 2005 Super 8 has been revamping a lot of there hotels. This Super I will not go back too. There was a smell to the room that bothered me. The lady behind the desk refused to take my Wyndom Rewards number until I persisted […] her to do so. I saw a large silverfish beetle running about the halls. The beds where well beyond broke in and the sheets had an oily feel to them. Normally I feel comfortable walking around in the hotel room with out shoe's and socks on, but not here, the carpet looked gross and I was not about to gain a foot fungus. There is a Quality Inn another 4 miles away from this location that I will visit next time despite the fact that will add to the distance and time it will take to go to my meeting and dinner while visiting Eureka. "worth the price"
This is a Super 8, Not a luxary hotel, For a super 8 and the price it was fine. IT was clean. Beds were harder than I like but worked fine for everyone else. Breakfast was adequate, Better than some, not as good as other, Milk, fruit drink, coffee, toast, cinnamon rolls, cereal, waffles, oatmeal. ONly complaint was a couple other customers one seemed […] to think she was at the Ritz and ran the place. Making it annoying for everyone else trying to have breakfast. Another was unattended children taking items with their hands instead of the tongs. Neither the hotels fault, Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"It was close to all main attractions"
If you have a lot of luggage, you need to stay on the main floor, or you will be hoofing it up the stairs cause there is no elevator. There is no air in the hallways, so they get pretty hot. The room was acceptable for the price.. You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a good hotel for a great price, this is it. The room was very clean, and […] the shower had awesome pressure. "hotel good beds suck"
The hotel and everything was good but the beds absolutely suck! !! My back hurt so bad after 2 days of sleeping there. .. I was so glad to get home and sleep in my own bed! ! Everything else was good. The breakfast even though small was good especially the waffles!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth it"
While this hotel is close to Six Flags and very inexpensive, it is not worth it. Pay the extra and get a different hotel! You will be glad you did. Our room had a cracked window that was taped together and it had obviously been there a long time. The odor of the hotel was unpleasant to say the least. We had a smoking room so I understand there can be […] some odor, but this room smelled like an ashtray that had never been dumped and then left out in the humidity, in a confined space. It was overwhelming when we walked in. The hallways had a strong, unpleasant odor as well. Will not stay here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms were clean, and we didn't really have any problems. This place is a good if you are going to six flags, it's right down the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Location was good and being close to Six Flags was nice but hotel is in need of some upgrades and the beds were horrible. You could see the sag in the mattress the second you walked in the room. Also I sat at the front desk for 20 minutes, waiting to check-in, along with 3 other people.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, close to Six Flags"
The location, close to Six Flags, made it nice that we could go to the park and come back to the hotel for lunch and go back to the park.Genuine Expedia guest review
"All was well .... except......"
The staff was accommodating ...room was clean and had all the needed items. Close to Six Flags and restaurants also a shopping center. However the wifi was almost non-existent and the power plugins were woefully lacking. Breakfast could have been better monitored as items ran out quickly and were slow to resupply if at all. I suspect that paying a few […] dollars more a night would have solved the issue but we did get what we paid for and were satisfied. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great price and friendly staff"
When we arrived the staff was friendly and had everything ready to go. The location was great with restaurants right next door and less than a mile away from six flags. The room also had a fridge and microwave which always come in handy when staying more than one night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Was actually better then my day at the park."
The room suited my needs and was comfortable. Sharing the parking lot with Lion's Choice was a plus and it was close to Six Flags St Louis.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location to Park, that is all!"
Service was awful. Could not get a hold of staff by phone and when you finally get someone they were less than accommodating and need some people skills.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
They were rude, helpful, and just horrible never ever staying there again!!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was what we paid for! Cheap1"
If the mattress had been decent- the sheets and blankets not worn through and ragged it might have been much better. It was reasonably clean considering the above and the age of it. but for a one nite stay on our way to somewhere else and considering the price of the surrounding hotels - it was what we paid for 59.00!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was to have a non smoking room but it smelt as a smoking room. Breakfast was very poor no fruit only waffles toast small generic donuts and cereal. Not a good breakfast at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to amusement park!"
If you are looking for a place to shower and sleep with not a lot of amenities this is the place. Rooms are dated but when you are on a budget it is a good place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Six Flags St. Louis super nearby"
The hotel smelled old/dingy/smoke the second you stepped into the hallway (North entrance from the pool) the room was decent and comfortable 4 the night. The continental breakfast definitely needs more of a variety and it seemed as though the staff was very picky and limited as to what and how much food would be taken out for the guests. The cleaning […] service was not to friendly (they were always to serious)and didn't offer to give clean towels or supplies unless you asked for them yourself and they were very picky about the amount they would give you. It was an okay stay for the night but not extremely comfortable to stay throughout the entire day. The pool is very small and not enough room to lounge around and relax. the hotel is about 2-3 minutes away from Six Flags St. Louis with several restaurants close by and a Walmart about a mile away. First room had hair everywhere and the bathrooms have not been cleaned. So they put us in another room and the sheets were stained and dirty. The whole hotel smelled bad.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Not a bad hotel. Didn't like having no security on the back door. But all in all, I will be staying there again in the futureGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not bad at all"
We spent a few days at the super 8 down the road by accident. For the money, this one is way way nicer. The other one stole all our food stuff from the fridge even though we had told the front desk we were staying another night and we had left a few things in the room even! This Super 8 is within walking distance to 6 flags (13mins for us, albeit not […] entirely safe to do so). For the money, this place is good. This hotel is clean and has friendly staff. "Good place to stay."
This hotel is a good option for people going to six flags. Much cheaper than staying at the park. Im not picky, so I don't need much. The rooms were clean enough, the breakfast was good, its peaceful as well. Nothing outstanding about it, but nothing terrible either. It's a solid, middle of the road quality hotel. Its about a 2 minute drive to the park, […] and close to shopping, restaurants, and gas stations. You could probably walk to the park, but there's not a side walk, just a ditch along the road and tall grass. Lots of fast moving traffic, so not recommended. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to six flags but not comfortable at all"
A/C was off in lobby and it was hot while trying to eat off the skimpy continental breakfast where both mornings I had to ask for the coffee and milk to be refilled. When arrived to our room the window unit A/C was off and room was blazing hot and took forever to cool off, which it did not get that cool. floors were dirty. It was suppose to be a non- […] smoking room but smelled like smoke. I have stayed at several Super 8 Motels, we really are not a picky family, but this one was just way too bad to pass up giving a review on. "Close to Six Flags, but don't stay here."
The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. You could not walk out in hallway without gagging from the smell. The rooms were runned down, had the old window air conditioner, bed so uncomfortable, would not walk without shoes because the whole place just had a disgusting feel to it. The pool was unusable, very dirty. My husband would not even go down for breakfast […] because of the dirty atmosphere and he is not a very picky person. "can't say i would do it again"
To start, good location. If your in town to go to Six Flags it is only at the most ¼ mile away. Pretty decent Food, gas options close by right there on the frontage road. The hotel itself, lets just say that you are truly getting what you pay for. You walk in the lobby door and the first thing you notice is it smells like an old musty, dank apartment […] building. It is a three level building, we wound up with a room on the first level, which is Actually “basement level” which only enhanced the musty sensation. The room was seriously outdated, you walk into you’re room and you are transported back to the late 70s, early 80s. So, If you are looking for a little 32 inch flat screen tv, or maybe free internet connection, forget it. There wasn’t even a clock in the room. The room and bathroom was acceptably clean, the air conditioner is a older window air conditioner mounted into the wall, it doesn’t do a great job but is able to keep the room fairly comfortable. Last but not least we need to talk about the beds. THEY ARE INCREDIBLY HORRIBLE!!! The beds are basically a queen sized block of concrete with a comforter and pillows thrown over the top of it. Take it From me, I was drawn in by the price, was able, for the most part go into it with an open mind, roll with the punches, but those beds are a deal killer, they will ruin you’re night and the next couple days.
