"Very kind service"

The hotel reeked of smoke. The room not as much but the lobby and hallways were bad. The service was so-so. The clerk seemed more interested in watching the Wrestling Match on TV which by the way was using quite flavorful language with my child present. "Prairie Getaway"
I stayed at this hotel when I was in town for a wedding. The service was great and the staff was friendly. The price was excellent for the 3 nights I stayed there. "Pros and cons balance"
The pillows could have been of a better quality but they were OK. The coffee pot hadn't been cleaned and on the second day, my leftover coffee and the coffee grounds were still there. The hair dryer was full of lint but I guess you get what you pay for. The waffle mix was icky but the biscuts and gravy were OK. We were in town for a quilting convention […] and just stayed there to sleep anyway so I'd probably stay there again. "Great Hotel"
We could not be more pleased with any hotel. Our room had all the amenities that we could want - microwave, refrigerator, coffeepot, hairdryer, complimentary breakfast, The room was clean and comfortable and included a recliner. I sleep in a recliner and cannot sleep in a bed. Very few hotels have recliners available so this comfort really made my trip. […] The staff was warm and friendly as well as competent. Based on other reviews I had expectations of a pleasant stay. Our room had trash under the bed and hairs on the wall of the shower. The front desk clerk was smoking out front while we were unloading our luggage. The pool was nice and warm, but the hot tub had been filled in with rock and decorated with a fountain. I stayed at this Super 8 over night after driving 12 hours on the Interstate. When I arrived, the front desk clerk was extremely pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone that they stay at this hotel. We were visiting our granddaughter in Lawrence, KS and all hotels were booked.
