I met some family at this Hotel for a few days and it was great. Mattress was a pillowtop and very restful, plus a big flat screen tv that was a hit with my husband. Desk was very helpful with Biltmore tickets and directions. We bought tickets at the desk and they printed out directions from mapquest for us. Biltmore House was great as well, expensive tickets, but, well worth it in the end.

Convenient location and good value for the money spent. Half price of the hotel next door and there was no reason to spend more for one night. If you were going to stay in the area for an extended period of time, larger rooms and more amenities might be worth the extra to stay elsewhere. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was what I expected to be for my requirement (a place to sleep overnight). I would have preferred to pay $10-$15 less than I did overall. Front desk person was very friendly. HD tv in room was a plus. Property has some age on it. Parking in front is limited and back door is key access only, so if you are checking in late, you have to drag your luggage around the building. Breakfast is very basic donuts and juice. Plan to go elsewhere on your way out.

I really only found a few things wrong with the Hotel....#1 For some reason as you entered our room there was a very STRONG ODOR, after being in the room you did not smell it. #2 Not much space to move around in but had everything we needed, I would have prefered more space with maybe a sitting Chair in the room. #3 They have NO Pool, it would have been nice to swim during our stay. Other than those things, the beds were comfortable, it was very nice to have a Frig, Microwave and Nice Flat T.V. It was Clean and the People that work there were very nice and helpful.

This hotel is rated correctly. The hotel is a bit drab in the tower halls, elevator and balconies but it does have a pool that is located on the first floor and the and water contribute to the drab effect. Otherwise it is a very pleasant place to stay. The rooms are fresh and clean. I would even consider it a 2.5 star. It's a great location - right in the heart of Myrtle Beach downtown.

For the money that I paid for the room, and I got a flat screen TV! You can't beat it. Great location, very quiet, within 1-10 miles of everything. When we checked in, the clerk overbooked and needed to make room. She gave us a free upgrade to a king suite! Very nice, hospitable. Needed change, went to the front desk, asked for it and got it no problem. The clerk gave us insight as to her favorite places to go. Overall, couldn't ask for a better stay. Hotel could use a face lift and a paint job, but for the deal I dont mind a little ugly. Everything was great!
