"Great Stay in Mishawaka!"

We will stay at this Super 8 every time we go to a Notre Dame game. It was excellent!

Overall it was adequate but the side door to the outside was broken, which was a security concern, the bathroom doorknob screws were falling out and the shower head leaked terribly.

"Would have paid a little more for cleanliness..."

We would have paid a little more for a cleaner facility. If we were a single couple with no children it would have met our needs okay, but we have two babies (18 months and 3 months) and our 18 month olde brand new white socks were a very dark brown after walking around on the floor for only a short time. I could gathe that walls weren't cleaned due to the gunk I saw on them. Also, my husband had to ask the woman at the front desk to lock the back door after realizing it wasn't just unlocked for us but left that way due to the inconvenience of getting up to unlock it. I don't want to nit pick. It is fine if you don't have children.

Overall, the hotel was okay, but the first floor smelled of smoke, since all the non-smoking rooms were on the 2nd floor. I didn't see an elevator, so we had to walk up after long tiring days, which was not so nice. the room overall was okay, but had a funny, (not bad) smell. The bathroom needed much care as when i inspected it, i was much shocked to find it w/ a ring of rust that well, didn't look like rust, but just a dirty bathroom. the bathtub was WAY higher than the floor so when you got out of the shower, you had to make sure you held onto something, for fear of falling. the bed was clean, comfortable, and for the location and price of the room, it was okay. I would have wanted to pay a little more, if my budget allowed and would've stayed at the many other nicer hotels right next to this one.

"Ok Stay"

The beds were kinda hard to sleep on. The breakfast was not good at all only a few things and mostly directed at younger kids. there was a weird smell in the hall ways. Other then that was a nice stay and not too far from the mall.

For the low price, this hotel was definitely worth it. Clean rooms, good tv and bathroom, breakfast, etc. Highly recommended.

"Filthy Hotel"

I would not stay there again. Room was filthy and hadn't been adquately vacuumed in months. Requested the manager have house keeping vacuum the room especially behind the door which was full of spider webs; nothing happened. Arrived on Sat. afternoon and the manager's kids spent the afternoon in the lobby watching cartoons. Do not stay in this hotel!!!

We went to South Bend on a Black Friday Expedition and booked a hotel near the mall and other shopping destinations. The Super 8 was great. The staff was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction and we had a great stay.

Room was clean and comfortable, had all the basic necessities and more. Not only a tv and coffee maker (standard), but a mini fridge with a freezer. Perfect for a brief stay. I'd definately stay at Super 8 again.

This hotel is in a great location--lots of shopping and dining. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, although a little run down. For the price, this is a good hotel for a short stay. There is no pool.

Needs improvement. The bed was broken. The breakfast wasn't as good as the normal Super 8 breakfast. The owner has been notified of the bed problem.

"Just another cheap hotel"

There were four things that I'll remember about this hotel: 1. the lobby was cold, uninviting and unattended. 2. one of the family staff was coming down the hall one morning we exited our room. There was paper litter in the hall way and she passed right by leaving it on the floor. 3. When our room was made up by staff the bedding was just barely straightened enough to throw the spread back on - the wrinkles in the sheets weren't even pulled out! 4. the middle eastern family running this place is driving a new black Mercedes SUV!
