"Good for the price"
This is definitely the best hotel in town and it is fine for the price. We stay here when visiting family. It beats staying in Corinth and having to drive 20 minutes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"America's Best Inn of Selmer, TN"
My family arrived at the hotel late in the evening. Somehow, our reservation was incorrect in their system & they tried to charge us for 2 nights rather than 1. They also did not have the roll away bed we reserved making our stay even more uncomfortable. This was frustrating after driving for 10 hours. We asked for extra towels, but had to get them […] ourselves. We were laughed at over the phone when we asked if someone could bring them to our room. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. Motel offered what I hoped for: clean, comfortable room for a decent price. Breakfast was a bit of a joke, though...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"America's Best- Selmer Tn"
This stay was only 2 nights but got a very clean, well appointed room. The staff was accomodating. The breakfast could have been a bit better, cold muffins needs a microwave. But overall I would give it a good mark for this type of motel. I will likely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For the money, this was a good value. The room was clean and the beds comfortable and quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Customer Service!"
07/28/14 Dirk T Nashville, Tennessee
Stayed 11 days this July while on assignment which kept me working very long hours on the days there. Reception was very friendly and courteous. Room was clean, the bed was most comfortable and sheets and towels were freshly laundered. Never a problem with parking and the room was well enough insulated that I had no sleep issues whatsoever. Minor plumbing problem - very slow hot water in the shower - was fixed immediately on report, with excellent follow up by the proprietor. The swimming pool looked inviting; however, my schedule this trip did not allow for time to try it out. In all, I would definitely to stay there again.
We traveled from Daytona back to Iowa and this is where my bus of college cheer and dance members stayed. 10 rooms available on a Saturday night! Perfect showers and sleeping stop! Sheets and towels smelled like Downy and the rooms were clean. Nothing fancy, but it was just what we needed. Breakfast was homemade biscuits, gravy and cinnamon rolls! First homemade anything we had ate in 6 days! They offered cereal, snacks and toast, juice and coffee as well. McDonalds across the parking lot too. Thanks so much for sharing your Southern Hospitality, Coach Lisa Conner Wm Penn University Dance Coach
"Service beyond expectation"

The best thing about this motel stay was the service. I had a group of coworkers booked at this motel and the management went far above my expectations in assisting our group in every facet and made the stay a five star experience. They were helpful, incredibly courteous, and anticipatory. The rooms were very clean and the amenities were about what you'd expect for this type of motel. Everyone mentioned how well they slept, owing to the beds themselves as well as the quiet location. I'll take my coworkers there again.

My experience here was fantastic. My room was always clean, very roomy, free wifi, fantastic and very nice staff, parking was never a problem, price was very affordable, especially for the extended status that I had. I would definitely recommend staying here!
"Oh, I hope not..."
Old, dated, not much in the realm of amenities, America's Best Inn is tired and under managed. Oh, it was clean and basic, very basic. Cheap...price and quality. It does have a pool. We didn't use it. It was in the parking lot. Breakfast? Good start breakfast? Cheap warm and serve Danishes and cold no-name cereal in a dispenser. Coffee and tea were luke hot and provided caffeine...I guess. Bed was comfortable enough and the tv worked (reception was poor on most channels). Internet (at least they had it) was very, v e r y slow. However, it's near the Shiloh battlefield, the only reason I can see for being in Selmer. Do yourself a favor and stay in Corinth. I believe it's closer...to everything.

Spent two nights. The hotel has been renovated with new carpeting, beds and linens, and paint. The air conditioner works great. The pool is clean and inviting. Best place to stay in Selmer. The breakfast isn't much and they remove the coffee promptly at 9am. The coffe maker in the room is good but they only give you one pack and there were two of us. I should have asked for another pack.
"Good spot to spend a night"

If you find yourself in Selmer and need a place to stay, there aren't a lot of options. I found this hotel very nice for the price and the overnight stay I needed. I was in the area and wanted to visit Shiloh National Park and this was a perfect location for my needs. The hotel was clean and comfortable. A mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker was in the room. For the price, it was a great deal!
"Pleasantly Suprized :-)"

We've learned to look before we pay, especially at motels in little towns that are obviously under renovation. What a nice suprize to open the door to see a spacious, clean room w/fridge/micro, nice flatscreen TV with lots of channels including Turner Classic Movies, free wifi with decent signal strength, great A/C. The walls looked freshly painted, beds were comfortable with nice pillows and what looked like new bedspreads. Carpet, if not new, was certainly bright and clean. My husband wears a leg brace and the owner went out of his way to get us a room downstairs. We especially appreciate hotels where you can park in front of your room, which makes it so much easier to bring in your luggage (rather than having to load it all on a cart and push it down a long hallway!) Priced right, too ~ we'd definitely stay here again!
I stayed in one of the jakuzzi rooms with my husband and three children under 9. The room was very clean and the owner was very nice. It was a very relaxing stay. There was a king bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch for the children. It was great!
"Great Clean Place to Stay!"

I had an excellent experience during the duration of my stay here at Americas Best Inn. The customer service was very friendly, along side with their great continental breakfast. Very clean and spacious room. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a great affordable place to stay.
