Overall it was ok. Alarm clock inop and condition room clean but worn. No problems for 1-night stay. A descent value with easy access to I-45.

it was ok since it was a stop on the way to Galveston, had all necessities.Needs renovating badly. Good place to stop the night before a cruise out of Galveston. Price is right, easy on and off the highway, restaurants close by. Very chintzy amenities (a tiny shampoo for 2, no tissues, etc) Skimpy "breakfast". But fine for an overnight stay.

If I had to be in my room other than to sleep, I couldn't have stayed. I paid the same price for a room, on the water in Surfside at a MUCH nicer hotel. The room/surroundings were dated, the air freshener was nauseating. It may have been fine for a road trip in college, just not anymore!

We stayed here before our cruise and it was cheap and convenient. Cheap: It was a bit run down and the room was smokey, which is a big deal to me. I hated that, but others might not mind. Convenient: close to Galveston and we saved a bunch of money over other hotels, but, I wouldn't go again.

The hotel was clean but a little dated. Old TV's, couldn't attach any other devices to the TV to watch movies. They only had 2 HBO movie channels. But having a frig and microwave in the room was very convenient. Overall for the money, you get what you pay for.

We were greeted with unwelcome stares by the front desk personnel and their apparent family that were all sitting in the lounge. At that very moment, if my 2 nights stay had not been paid for already I would have turned around and walked out. Then while we were unpacking management walked outside across the parking lot to watch us unpack. Later that […] day we saw a person leave their room and not long after management went into that persons room and did not come out for about 10 minutes. To top it off, our fishing poles were stolen off the top of our truck and even though they had a camera right on our truck (it was seen on the screen in lounge) they did not offer any help. This hotel should not even be on your list I have stayed in alot of Super eights and never have had one so nasty. And no swimming pool and the restroom when you sat down it felt like you were going to break it was very loose. And it smelled I was very disatisfied and will never trust to stay at another super eight again.
