Stayed for 2 nights during our youth sports tournament. The room was really good - better than expected. I'd even say a little closer to a hotel room than a motel room. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels and other items provided. The hotel is very close to the Ambassador Bridge and the US. The area for the morning breakfast needs to be expanded. The hotel is also very close to Malden Park where you can jog, walk or just enjoy the sunshine.

The problem me and my wife had was the hotel had a bad smell. There were other guests partying till 4.00am ,banging of doors ,yelling and screaming.The beds were hard and the bedding old and smelly. The staff were not polite or knowledgeable. Never again!!!

It is a motel so I wasn't expecting a 5 star and it is exactly what it is. Every thing is clean the beds are good. There is a lot of corridors and some people show up in the middle of the night thinking they are alone in the place.

So here I go: 1) Located beside a petro 2) Room is clean 3) Working appliances 4) The breakfast bar has cereal, bread, milk, orange juice, butter and jam. Looks a lot bigger on the picture, the counter space is very small. 5) The room looked outdated and the comforters need to be replaced. Overall you pay for what you get.

The sheet would not stay tucked in on the bed as it was a flat sheet not fitted and there was a bad smell in the room. The love seat had been patched. In other words it was on the shabby side. I felt we paid too much for what we got. Would not recommend it.

Everything was OK - but for the fact that the bathroom had an pungent odor that crept into the main room. I couldn't pinpoint it except the shower curtain was very mildewy. I asked the desk clerk for some lysol-type spray and he just grabbed some industrial thingy, came up to the room and randomly sprayed the corners before saying "that ought to do […] it." Communication failure, it would seem. My guess is they knew full well but were waiting for it to go away or i don't know... perhaps a prior guest smoked in the bathroom and they didn't want to pay the expense to really clean it (it was a non-smoking room). We stayed in a room with two double beds for 4 people, but was only given 3 bath towels. Other than the shortage of bath towels. the stay was very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a very comfortable, clean, quiet and pleasant stay. The included continental breakfast was a nice bonus. 4 out of 5 for sure.

We booked 3 rooms to attend Basketball at Windsor University.All the people (7) found the rooms (2 Queen each) clean and most accommodating.The microwave and the fridges were a great feature. We plan to stay there on all trips to Windsor in the future.

If all you need is a clean room with a comfortable bed, TV, and a bathtub/shower for a good price, this hotel gives you exactly that. I picked it due to the price and proximity to my sister's house in Lasalle, but it is at least 15-20 minutes from downtown Windsor, and about 5-10 minutes from the Ambassador bridge to Detroit.

they are on the "pet friendly lodgings" site, and when I booked through your site hotels.com I DID notify the booking agent that I had two dogs, to make sure that this lodging WAS pet friendly......he (Tim) said it was and as long as none of my dogs were over 75 lbs it was okay...so, I went on with the booking and my VISA was billed. When I got to […] the hotel, they told me that I needed to pay extra for my dogs????? and that they normally do NOT allow dogs in their hotel????? The manager REFUSED to talk to me and the front desk man MADE me pay for my dogs. I booked thru this site before and the price that I was quoted was the price that I was charged. I was never asked to pay any additional fees . Someone needs to ensure that all information is revealed at time of booking so that you are not faced with surprise charges.
