Not much to say about this hotel. I used it for sleeping and bathing, and it fulfilled those needs. It was 3 miles from the NAS, which was the main reason I chose it. I read all of the negative reviews as well as some positive ones. I decided to take a gamble, and got two rooms. We stayed for a few days, the hotel was absolutely awful. The sign on the road didn't even light up. The room was clean, but the mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. This hotel is okay for one night stay, but it would not recommend it for more than one night. Had trouble getting clean towels. Housekeeping was supposed to come back and emptier trash and they never did. When they didn't clean the toilet in two days it had become moldy on the inside. and it is not located in the best part of town. The rooms still smells like smoke. There were crumbs on the floor in both rooms.The trash can were not emptied. Overall our stay was not comfortable. The room did not not feel clean and we didn't get good rest. The personnel though was helpful with our needs.

This stay was on a return trip and we had stayed at this same motel a week earlier. The first stay was disappointing. The comforter was full of burn holes as well as the couch coushions. When we advised the staff, we were told that housekeeping must have mixed up the bed clothes with a smoking room. Refrigerator was not working when we arrived, however they offered a replacement that my husband had to go get & wheel into our room himself as their maintenance man had already left for the day. There was a used condom wrapper left in the room when I checked in with my family. The shower had very little pressure and your feet stuck to the bathroom floor. The air conditioner never cooled the room all night and the pool was dirty.

OK place. Reasonably close to where we wanted to be without costing an arm and a leg. Had a burned out bulb in the bathroom light fixture which they could not fix over a two day stay because it was a weekend and the management had locked away the replacements and could not be reached or disturbed.

The room was nice, big, clean and quiet. Was a straight shot to the naval air station in Pensacola. Breakfast was a joke, no place to sit down and only had a few muffins to chose from and a couple of drink choices. Shortly after we checked in, we saw a young man sitting out in the parking lot in his car for a long time. Called the front desk to have […] them check on him. Turned out he was using the free wi-fi and they chases him off. They were good about this, but you never know what's going on when someone stays in their car for a long time. For me, the hotel was convenient. I was working on NAS Corry which is only a 2 minute drive. It is definitely an "old school" hotel with no ammenities, old style bathroom, etc. Service came late in the afternoon and I was fortunate to bump into one of the maids to ask for additional coffee. Also, I was not able to make long distance calls from the phone […] in the room. I had pre-paid through Hotels.com which made itinerary changes (I wanted to check out early) very difficult. I attribute that as much to hotels.com as I do this Super 8. Overall, definitely a no frills stay that was just a place to get some sleep. Read more

Cheap way to spend a weekend at the beach. Loud college kids outside till 3:30 in the morning right outside our door on the balcony. No respect for people sleeping! Won't stay again. This hotel, for my purpose, was in the perfect location for me to visit family in Josephine, Alabama. I was very please with the cleanliness and the overall comfort. The only drawback that I encountered, was that it is close to a Navy Base, there were some rather noisy all night parties. I suspect that only occurrs on the weekends.

After checking in it took me about 20 minutes after settling into sleep that the bed bug crawled onto my face. Upon finding this the night check guy did get me checked out of the room and authorized a refund. That was about the only good thing that happened that night.

For the time I was there the hotel was quiet. The only noise that bothered me was because of the Thunder Storm that came through. Other then that all was good. Food was within walking distance.

The hotel room was suitable enough for my needs as I was only staying there for one night since I flew in early. The bed was comfortable, hot water in the shower, working a/c, no bugs...hard to find all these things for such a low price! I had to wait a while to check in because they were updating their system, but the front desk clerk was so friendly […] and he was nice enough to make me some coffee while I was waiting and after I was able to check in he walked me to my room. He was also very helpful with helping me around the area (gas stations, restaurants, directions to the naval base, etc.). Because of the hurricane I was unable to get a car the night before, but it was only a $20 cab ride to the hotel and there were restaurants and a gas station within walking distance so I could still get what I needed without transportation.
