The hotel is very nice considering my expectations. It is not an elite hotel, and the microwave in my room was a bit old, but compared to similarly priced competition (i.e. Days Inn) this hotel was grate! The brand new tvs in each room were wonderful, and the service was great!

I'm a travel nurse and this hotel was the worst experience I've ever had with any hotel. Upon arrival I was charged an extra $40 for an early check in fee. The clerk at the counter ran my card over 5 times and it did not go through. He then proceeded to tell me something was wrong with my card. I've stayed there twice now. The first time was good. The room was new and the service was good. The last time I stayed we got put in the old section of the hotel so the rooms weren't as nice but still acceptable. The only complaint I have is that I booked a king room through hotels.com but when I arrived I was told that there were no king rooms at […] that hotel (I know that wasn't true because I stayed in a king room the 1st time I stayed there). This hotel was a pleasant retreat for us in every way. Located very conveniently and close to downtown Decatur, yet in a quiet unhurried and well-lighted sidestreet away from traffic and noise. We were in the newer suits part of the hotel and found it very good for the cost. We were close enough to walk to everything in downtown Decatur. We walked to MARTA from the hotel with our rolling luggage with no problem. Very pleased with the renovated suite we had on 3rd floor, beds were clean, everything appeared clean but in the bathroom someone left their spiderman washcloth which makes me wonder how well they inspect and clean the rooms, but other than that, no issues with the stay. Would stay again.

It was a hotel that served it's purpose. We went for the Georgia Aquarium, in this price range this was the safest and cleanest hotel in the area. I have stayed at this hotel three times now on trips to Atlanta. It is a short 7 minute walk to the Marta station so very convenient to getting downtown. water dripped in the tub nonstop, it didn't drain well either-you would find yourself up to your ankles in water quickly. light over the vanity sink was out. the bed linens smelled like old socks and could have used a long wash in hot water or should be replaced and the pillows were thin-extremely thin.

I realize that I paid for a cheaper hotel for a last minute, unbudgeted business trip to Atlanta but I will never stay in this hotel again. Walking into the lobby, I was hit with an awful smell - not sure what it was. Considering breakfast was also served here (which I did not partake), I couldn't imagine it not smelling better. The room at first blush […] was OK, but I began to notice stains in the carpet, water stains on the ceilings and tons of marks on the wall. I found a wet washcloth which was probably used by a previous guest - hair and all. The hair dryer had pubic hair on it. The microwave smelled nauseating as well. I'm 34 years old and I've never seen a microwave this old. The sign outside said New LCD TV's and New Suite. I'm assuming they purchased new televisions for all the rooms and renovated one suite so they could put that on the sign. The room I stayed in was definitely not new...nor clean. Read more

This hotel was a great deal. While the whole hotel is worn looking and could use a lot of maintenance my room was quite comfortable. The room had worn spots, patches, and a lot of age to it. It wasn't a hotel best but it was more than adequate. The room was clean and smelled like the non-smoking room it should be. The bed was comfortable and I loved […] the pillows. There were a couple of chairs with a table as well as a desk. the light was plentiful and the air conditioner in working order. The bathroom was clean with clean, white towels though, as I said, worn looking. I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay when I dropped my daughter off for college. I was pleased that this met the bill so well. For the price I would stay here again. In fact, I'm going to recommend it to my ex-husband when he goes down. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. I missed the sparse continental breakfast because I misunderstood the time but the manager was accommodating (although the cleaners were unhappy with that decision and didn't bother to hide their feelings as they loudly cleaned up around us.) There are no fancy amenities at this hotel; no view, no concierge, no luggage racks (we had 8 bags) but there is an elevator and one of the staff did offer to help us. The only real complaint I had was people speaking loudly outside my room on the walkway for several hours each night I was there. Luckily I brought ear plugs! Read more

Room was a suite in the new section, which a good deal for the price. Main part of the room was very clean - only cups and coffee maker were covered in dust and insect droppings. We got to location erlier than check in time, the manager offered us to be able to check in as soon as the room was clean at not extra charge. The breakfast was very good and included a waffle maker that my kids and husband enjoyed. We will sure stay at this location again.

This is an economy hotel. Now with that said the room was refurbished. It had a microwave, refridgerator. HD TV. Room was good size. The price was right. If you are looking for just a good room, this is it. I give this five stars for what it is an economy hotel. I do not think you will be disapointed if you stay here.

Is a older hotel, but is clean and well maintain, the staff are nice, does not have a gym or a pool, if you need a pool than you need to go somewhere else. The price is great also, wireless is quit slow btw, is a good place if you just need a place to stay and sleep.

Been staying here last 3 yrs. This room was the dirtiest room ever given to us. Black hand prints on walls, bathroom unclean, etc. Wife was bitten by some type of insect on last nights stay requiring medical attention. Will not be staying here again.
