"Don't stay here!"
We were put I in room 39 behind the office. The room looks and feels like they converted it from an office space to a hotel room. The conversion didn't work! There are three 3 foot fluorescent lights in the ceiling to give the real office feel. They called this room a suite I guess because there is a big futon sitting in the middle of the room. There […] was no dresser...just an old table with the coffee pot and microwave on top and they cut to make a refrigerator fit under. There were two doors like connecting doors on two different walls that don't really go to another room where someone would stay. One went to the breakfast room and the other to some big room across the side of the hotel. The entrance literally"around back" was creepy and in poor repair. So, if you don't like the feeling of having your bed in the middle of an office, don't stay here! Both Kalispell and Whitefish are only a few minutes away and would be much better options. We had a fine stay. We appreciated the continental breakfast. That was a surprise. Staff was very helpful. We ran out of hot water the first night, but that was fixed the next day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small room, but clean and equipped"
Small room cabin, with kitchenette. Small, but clean and well equipped. Price reasonable for area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. There was a sign posted over the stove stating what cooking, serving & eating amenities should be on site. Less than 1/2 of what was on the list was in place. When I went to the office, the girl had to go search several buildings to find our supplies. They gave us a reason "too many pieces get stolen". The sign […] also said "Leave pots in sink for cleaning staff to clean, due to Health Regulations". This didn't happen. The beds were not made each day. When I mentioned this to the lady at check out, she said "They won't make the beds if you pull the covers part way over the bed." Also our room door was left open not just unlocked after the cleaning staff left. This was very disturbing . Although the room was very unique in it's layout I did not get a warm fuzzy about staying there again. Oh, yes, there was very little hot water. Would I recommend staying here? Only if I knew the staff was more conscientious and diligent in their abilities and the kitchenette was better supplied. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Place When Going to Glacier"
We stayed here prior to starting a backpack at the Park. Worked great. The rooms were clean and there actually separate bedrooms for the guys, which was a nice surpriseGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice and clost to Glacier Natl Park"
Nice older hotel. Was surprised by the kitchenette. Very clean. Nice sitting outside under the lighted trees and playing a quick game of miniature golf.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cool throwback Inn"
If you like an inn where you can sleep in a tepee, cabin or traditional room, has twinkle lights in patio furniture and a small mini golf "course" about 15 minutes from Glacier - this is for you. Beware: lousy water pressure and skip the free breakfast. Very courteous and helpful staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Place to stay - 15 minutes from Glacier Park"
Very well kept inn, great breakfast in the morning to start your day before starting up the trails. Plenty of activities and board games are available to keep the kids occupied. Only downside i could see was that this place allows dogs, our room had a wet dog smell. Would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better than we expected"
We stayed one night at the Western Inn. After we flew into Kalispell, we spent the day looking around Whitefish and surrounding area - and the Western Inn was well located to head into GNP first thing the next morning, ALL staff were extremely warm, welcoming and accommodating. We were told our room was #20 and the location was described to us. When […] we arrived, room #20 was in the building with the restrooms and showers and it appeared to be boarded up. My husband was throwing a fit but I insisted we look before we jump to conclusions. When we opened the door, there was a staircase which led to our room ABOVE the restrooms, etc. The room (actually a suite) was spacious, comfortable, clean and delightful. The ceilings were a little low, which isn't a problem for most people - but my husband is 6'6" and it was a little uncomfortable for him to be so close to the ceiling. The breakfast was basic - but fine. Best part of this place is the people working there - and if staff is nice, it's easy to overlook the little oddities. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was a great place to stay while visiting glacier park. People were very friendly. Rooms were clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is actually 15 miles from the entrance of Glacier National Park not 6 mi as advertised at booking. It is just a no frills motel without a pool or fitness center amenities. But it was a very clean and spacious room with full kitchen area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast had enough variety to give you […] a full and satisfied start to your day. I would stay there again if I return as it offers the best overall deal as far as price, room size/comfort, and location to GNP. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"CONSIDER WHITEFISH, MT"
Desk clerk Mindy is/was the key to our stay. She is super personable and really interested in the guests. Though relatively new to the Columbia Falls area, Mindy gave us several tips to help make our visit to Glacier Nat'l Park more memorable especially being that it rained the two days we were in the area. The facility seems to be old w/a newer facade. […] The room interior was only freshened w/paint. Interior lighting is poor. Been sometime since anyone bothered to dust under the beds. Room had two queen beds w/one in the main area and the 2nd in a seperate bed room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was comfortable. We ended up with a suite -- larger than we needed, but very comfortable. When we showed up for breakfast, staff asked about our plans for the day (we were heading to Glacier NP). Staff went on to describe where the road was closed within the park. This was very helpful to us, as we had no idea that the road was closed. They […] provided us with maps and alternate routes. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Felt like we were in a warehouse. Could hear every word the people next door were saying right down to the man not wearing underwear!! Heard every pop of their popcorn popping. Won't stay again. Staff very friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Considering the time of season and the prices of surrounding hotels/motels that are of quality, this ranks high. Service was good and staff were friendly. There is a great running/walking trail next to the motel if you fancy a walk about or a good morning run. While the motel is a bit old, the staff have gone to great lengths to maintain upkeep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Needed air conditioning in back bedroom, ran out of hot water for showers.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean Great Service But Bring Your Own Dishes"
This was a very cute hotel! Very very clean and I'm very picky. Desk clerks were helpful and courteous. The only thing they could do better is supply dishes for the kitchenette. I asked about this and they told me that the health department made them stop supplying the dishes since the guests would be washing them. They did supply a couple of frying […] pans and some cheap paper plates and plastic forks, knives and spoons. Bring your own kleenex. I would definitely stay here again since they were so clean, loved the way they had the place decorated, had more than the usual courtesy breakfast available, and are just 15 minutes from West Glacier. This room smelled like horrible dirty old socks. I should have asked for for a switch or our money back, but we had someplace to be and didn't take the time. Switched hotels after one night because it was so smelly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good Christmas base to visit the kids from."
Stayed two nights and left without seeing the staff as it was late and Christmas when we got there and before their winter hours had them present when we left early at trips end. They made up the room like little elves and we found it quite comfortable,Genuine Expedia guest review
"Roomy Suite and great location"
Double Queen room was upgraded to a Suite when we arrived. The Suite had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and plenty of room with full kitchen and living room. I liked that the entire facility is smoke free. There's a terrific restaurant nearby that we enjoyed that the front desk suggested. Grocery store nearby as well. Would definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The breakfast was not much in today's world. The front desk, however, was very quick in helping us navigate to all the directions we were intending to go, find phone numbers in different towns, and all around friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review

Very nice hotel! We were upgraded from a standard room to a large apartment with a full kitchen. Although there were only the two of us, it is easy to see how a family could be very comfortable. The continental breakfast was less than impressive, but did offer coffee/tea/OJ and muffins/pastries. All in all, a very nice stay!Genuine Expedia guest review
Staff was very nice but the rooms were very old and the furnishings were broken down and uncomfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Gateway to Glacier National Park"
Western Inn - Glacier Park is probably the "nicest" hotel in close proximity to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. It is only a 16 mile drive to the park yet you still are close to the amenities of city life such as restaurants and 24-hour grocery stores and gas stations. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We found our room to […] be clean and in good condition with 2 large closets, a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker and large screen TV and even a telephone. There was also a strong Wi-Fi signal. The breakfast in the large lobby area looked very good although we didn't try it due to our diet. The coffee was good. We will stay there again on our next visit to Glacier.
