The shower in the first room needed fixing..the tub filled up with water as the shower ran and the tub faucet also ran while running the shower. I was given another room immediately,but the phone and refridgerator didn't work in that one either...which I didn't know until the next morning when all of my food in the refridgerator was spoiled...when I told the front desk agent, she apologized,but it didn't seem sincere.

The Westin Poinsett is right downtown, an easy walk to just about anywhere one wants to go downtown. There are many places to eat nearby as well as in the hotel, and it is both safe and interesting to walk the main streets. The exercise room is large and well-equipped. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a bathroom counter top that is right for a short grandmother like me.

It was such a disgusting hotel. The room was soooo dirty. You cannot see the real color of the carpet on the floor because how dirty it was. The bed sheets was dirty also. At least it looks dirty. The room was dusty. Bedroom was dirty. They did not clean the toilet. There was no shampoo and conditioner at the bathroom. The soup was so small and it smells […] really bad. Heater/AC was so loud, I could not sleep because of that reason. The breakfast was also disappointed. They said they will have fresh fruits but they did not have any kind of fruit. Hotel corridor smells cigarette. Also price was so high with this quality. If you like yourself, DO NOT go to this hotel. Read more

It was ok for the location. When we first pulled up there was not a single car in sight. Made it a little scarey. Front desk was not overly friend but not rude either. We had a nonsmoking room, but walking down hallway there was a horrible smoke odor. I would think if you requested nonsmoking room you would not have to walk through a strong smell of […] smoke to get to it. Of course it could have been coming from the frontdesk office.
