Very anticeptic - strictly business. Kind of out of the way, not within walking distance of anything. New - everything works - food at hotel fair. Go here if you are on business, not for entertainment. It is perfect for getting stuff done without distractions.

Over all it was good. Since i was there for a n=oone night stay the area was not an issue, if i was there longer i would like to have been in a different area, but i felt the area to be safe, and that is what really counts

"only if you have too"
the room was only clean if you did not open the curtains. taowels where grey everything worn out. right next too a truck stop with trucks running all night. never again
"Hotel ok if you need a bed"
No major issues, just a STD cleanish bed for the night. Easy to get to the airport and some decent restaurants in the area.

"reasonable place"
nothing fancy, I stay on my nights in Calgary coming home from shifts further north. The airport shuttle has many available times they leave from and the rooms are reasonably outfitted for the price.

"Not close to the airport."
The road this hotel is on is currently closed and has no access to the airport. It took us thirty minutes longer to catch our flight. The room was not very clean. My sheets had a hole in them at my feet that I kept getting my toe caught in. Very frustrating. One of the pillow cases on there was dirty. It looked like the blanket was old and dirty. The […] towels were not white and were so old and in need of replacement. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. "Stampede Experience"
My friends and I stayed at the Super 8 Calgary Airport and we were surprised with the level of service for what they could offer. "A FINE HOTEL"
Pleasant and helpful man at the front desk when we arrived. Answered all my questions, and gave good advice on public transit vs.paying $50.00 for a cab. Location of hotel near freeways, allowing easy access on and off. Would stay again. Good free wi-fi signal.

The only reason I gave a 3 for the condition of the hotel was due to the towels. They were quite small & very well used. We only had 2 faceclothes each day even though there were 3 of us in the room. Ok for the price, would not stay here for anything other than a layover waiting for a flight. Staff were ok and helpful. Room was clean except the floor, which i dont think was vacuumed.

The main issue we had with this hotel was that the television was not working. There was a problem with Shaw (TV provider) and the one person working at the hotel was unable or unwilling to contact the appropriate person to have the signal fixed. How does this place consider themselves an airport hotel, good 20 - 25 minutes away. Free shuttle, but, almost missed our flight due to the infrequency and it's a co op shuttle with two other hotels, so no guarantee you'll get a ride. very friendly staff, they serve breakfast early in the morning till 9.30 what could maybe a bitt longer, but it was good, good coffee. The stay was short but good and I would do it again.

Very satisfed with the hotel, our room and the staff both night and morning were exceptional. The only draw back for us was the lack of food services on site. I was driving an 18 wheeler; parked in the truck stop next door and in town to pick up my wife from a flight from Florida. "The hotel was perfect for airport travel!"
I stayed at the hotel because I needed to catch a flight the next morning and it had a shuttle to the airport that was free and on time . Contenential break fast was pretty good room was clean, big and had every thing I needed staff was great I would stay there again !

"Great staff but dodgy accommodation"
Now I am not fussy, but I don't like dirty hotel rooms, and unfortunately, this one was grubby (floor not vacuumed, bathroom filthy and blood on a pillowcase). HOWEVER, when we mentioned this to the guy on the front desk, he was really helpful and moved us to a cleaner room. Won't be staying here again.

Ifound the hotel adequate for my needs which was to be afforable in that area of Calgary for my doctor appointments and family visits, however, as clean as they kept the rooms, the garbage cans and counters in the lobby area were very dirty and the place is aging. The rooms smelled stale and the towels that were suppose to be white, were very grey.

I was surprised at the distance from the airport but they had a perfect free shuttle and serviced me dependantly. The lobby was looking old. The rooms were surprisingly nice especially in view of the price point ratio. No complaints.

I chose this hotel as it had airport shuttle and the price was right. The room was great, pretty clean except the usual wear and tear. The gentlemen at the front desk were awsome, polite, helpful and pleasent. Yes I'd come back and plan to in the very near future

To say this hotel is a dive would actually be a major understatement. The carpet was so dirty in my room that my white socks were black! The bathroom had a complimentary size shampoo in the shower but no conditioner. At first I thought it was just an oversight but was told no, they don't have complimentary size conditioner or body lotion at all. We enjoyed our two nights at the Super 8. The free shuttle to/from the airport was very helpful. Breakfast was fine and service was good. The price was very reasonable. We will come again.

Upon arrival we were asked if we wished a king size bed instead of 2 queen sized, I believe this is considered an upgrade since the king room was more expensive on line, The hotel was extremely quiet with a wonderfully comfortable mattress and a free breakfast in the morning. For a one night stay what else could you want?

"Breakfast"
The service when we checked in and out was great. The room was ok. The complementary breakfast they provide was awefull. The worst I have every had. Very poor selection of food and what food they had was not that good. Plus the OJ was terrible.

Very good room! Comfy king bed. Clean! A little tough to find parking lot and entrance of motel, but not a big deal. Overall very nice!

"Close to Airport"
The only room available during Stampede week that was anywhere close to the airport. The staff were courteous and helpful, but the hotel is old and run down, musty and not well maintained. It sufficed for the one nite and got me to the airport.

No Longer a handy airport hotel as Barlow Trail is closed ... $30 Cab rid at 1am. Rude front desk staff at this time of the morning. Very worn down and musty smelling hotel room. Only needed for a few hours of sleep as we were off to another plane. Would not recommend any longer - stay there in the past an it wasn't in this rough shape.

We were happy with our accomodation. We enjoyed the wake up service as well as the Airport Courtesy Van to take us to the airport.

We booked here because it was cheaper than most others & we were just in for shopping & a movie. It is an older hotel therefore small bathtub, no movies in the room & older towels etc. So you get what you pay for & if all you need is a place to sleep with no extras, it does the trick.

My stay was very satisfactory, until the morning when they started maintenance on the room next to mine at around 8:30 am. It made my day very long as I had a long drive ahead of me .
