Super 8 Sevierville - Sevierville

We came back because we are so impressed with the room set-up of having 2 separate rooms with separate doors sharing a bathroom/sink area. Of course it would be best if both "rooms" within the main room had t.v.'s and one of the rooms in each included a refrigerator (ours didn't but both of our children's did) or a microwave.... but hey, the set up […] was really cool. While the rooms were clean, they were a bit shabbier than our previous visit but it is probably hard to compete with the many, many other hotels in the area financially. The "breakfast" was considerably scaled back. All in all, you know what to expect (microwaveless, maybe a refirgerator, etc), it's a really nice visit. Read more

The hotel staff was very friendly.On the other hand the shower rod was broken wouldnt hold up the curtin, its 2013 and we had a tube tv, and last was it was a split room with one tv. Also the ice machine on the 3 rd floor wich we were on didnt work and the first 2 nights we were there the jacuzzi was out of order

It took the clerk 15 minutes to switch us from a smoking to non-smoking room. (Even though the place wasn't 1/3 full). Dead bugs under the bed, floors not clean. Breakfast was a joke. But the view from the balcony was nice.

Room was clean upon arrival and cleaned every day we were there by housekeeping. Mattress on both beds were very very uncomfortable, glad we were only there 2 nights I don't think my back could have taken another night. I am always leary about showering in hotel bathrooms, the bathroom was clean, the corners of the tiles could have used some attention […] and I would hang a new shower curtain. Overall it was a good experience and the price is excellent. We especially like the way the room is set up with two seperate bedrooms and the bath in the middle. Overall, we were very satisfied. The only problem we had was that the weatherstripping at the bottom of the door caused so much friction against the carpet that it made it necessary to give the door a significant, sustained push to open it enough to be able to enter the room, which was inconvenient when we were bringing our luggage into the room.

This is an older facility but very well kept up and clean. The best part is that it's right on the river and all rooms have a back door and patio'balcony with a view of the beautiful trees, river and hills.Very relaxing!

The hotel was very nice although the beds were hard and lumpy. The front desk staff was wonderful. The only drawback was the distance with traffic to Pigeon Forge shopping. The walls are paper thin so if there was someone on either side of you, you could hear everything they were saying.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean. The beds were a lil soft for my preference, but other than that I would definitely recommend this Super 8 to travelers!

Never did figure out the jet tub, but that was our fault because it wasso late when we got in and early when we left to go hiking that l didn't take the time and just go ask. the view from our balcony was so refreshing that we left the door opeen so we could go to sleep listening to the running water and night sounds. the only […] thing l didnt care for which was no fault of Super 8 was the traffic lights by the Muscle Car building. I have no idea who was in charge of designing that intersection but l was really surprised that there wasn't a car accident there, simply because l came close to one twice. I was surprised to see my room was in fact two rooms with a queen bed in each. There was a bathroom between the two rooms and a door that led to each. I was on a business trip with three coworkers, so we got 4 rooms. We could have been perfectly comfortable and had privacy with only two. No complaints, though as the hotel was quite affordable. I live in Maryville and me and my mom wanted to get away for a couple of days and just enjoy some quiet time. I read the reviews before my stay and chose this place and I would definitely choose this Super 8 again. I do have a funny story: We were sitting outside watching the river and we saw deer on the other side of the river and they went out of […] our view so we locked our doors and went on a walk to see where the deer went. I forgot that I had used the chain on one of the doors so I had locked us out of our room. They had to use bolt cutters to cut the lock so we could get back into our room. The room was clean, service was friendly and the location was about a mile from the conference center. Great value for the money! My only negative comments: If I were coming to stay for vacation and was going to be spending significant time in my lodging, I would want somewhere with a larger TV (very small in this room) and a couch/comfortable sitting area.
