The overnight fellow on Mar 15,2013 was very friendly and helpful. The Very big downside to our stay was our SMOKE FREE ROOM which reeked of smoke. I should have complained then but I didn't. Our clothes also smelled of smoke after being in the room.

The Super 8 desk was very accommodating insofar as on arrival we were informed that we had a SMOKING ROOM. Thankfully they gave us a nonsmoking room. I booked online at Expedia so I guess one should beware when booking online.

The room was outdated except for the bathroom was recently remodeled. The room was clean & the beds very very comfortable. I would give it higher ratings except for the outdated 80's decor and the lobby was smelled really smoky all the times we were in and out of the hotel. Once we were in our room, it was fine but the lobby is really bad.

We only stayed one night but it was a wonderful experience. The night and day front desk staff were extremely friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was satisfying. My husband and I had no complaints and would stay here again.

for the money this was a very good value, the Hotel was very clean, staff very nice, and it was a great surprise to have breakfast in the morning. Only thing is that the bed was not real comfortable, but overall very good hotel.. Thank you....we would stay again.

Clean, adequate rooms. The smell of smoke is very evident in the lobby area but wasn't in our room. Thank goodness. They should somehow get rid of the cigarette smell, it is a turn-off especially since it is so prevalent when you first enter the hotel.

Nothing fancy, clean, friendly. Must note that there is no elevator for seniors or handicapped. They did not mention this when I booked the room for grandparents day at IWU, my mother had a hard time getting upstairs.

I would recommend this hotel. It was very clean and well kept, very safe. Bed little hard. Breakfast consisted of bagels, toast, danishes, couple cereal choices, not much, but included. We also had a nice mini fridge in the room.

This was the best hotel! So clean, staff so helpful, convenient location, plenty of restaurants nearby, and the price was very reasonable. I recently stayed at the Trump Marina Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City and - no lie - this little hotel in Gas City, Indiana was so much better in every way.

What more can you ask? The staff was very friendly and asked several times if there was anything they could do to make our stay more pleasant. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the motel was quiet for as close as it was to the interstate. I'd stay there again, the next time I'm in that area.

We have stayed here many times when we visit our daughter and have been very pleased HOWEVER we were there for two days and no one made the bed exchanged the linens etc even after we pointed it out to the manager. Also the place has gone to the "Dogs" for pet lovers this isnt a problem but two large dogs and their owners walked in when we did, down […] the hall small dogs were barking in at least 2 rooms. We arrived and found the facilities looking very much like the last time. The only difference was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke as you entered the hotel. We are not smokers and it was really bad!
