TV remote did not work with TV. The faucet in the bathroom sink had needle spray and was unusable, toilet handle had to be held down thru entire flush to get it to work. Staff was excellent. Room very clean, but the pillows on the beds were too small and soft. They are doing renovations which may improve the above.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The room and hallway had a foul oder of filth throughout. we bought febreeze to try to deoderize the room but it did not help.My grand daughters feet were black on the bottom from walking barefoot on the room carpet.It was obvious that their ideas of cleanliness left a lot to be desired. ""It's alright for what it was""
For the money, you can't beat the deal. But...you get what you pay for. Apparently, the competition we were in town for wasn't the only one. We were left to choose from a smoking room or a smoking room. The window was open when we got to the room and, unfortunately, there was no air circulating. The room STUNK! There were no roll-away beds available, […] thank goodness Wal-Mart was right across the parking lot so we could go buy an air mattress. The staff was very courteous, but there wasn't anything they could do to help. I think, should we go to Douglas again, we may give them another try...I'm hoping we just had bad timing. "It was acceptable for the price."
The people were very friendly. The noise wasn't very good. The room above us sounded like they were having a square dance at three in the morning. The floors are very thin. I don't blame the motel. As explained above we were in town for my Mother's funeral the second weekend of September. An extremely sensitive time for us was made a little better by the extremely courteous staff.
