Room was small and crampled. Had to place a towel in the chair before putting my bag down because it was so densely stained and disgusting looking. Went to continental bfast which was a nice set up but was scolded like a 4 yr old child because the waffle iron batter spilled over by a blonde employee. Very obvious I was a thorn in her side. (I am a 50 […] yr old woman) I just said forget it and went back to my room. If you wanted to sit at the table you couldnt scoot the chair back much without hitting the foot of the bed. We go to the Sommernites Cruise In two or three times a year and stay at this hotel because it's in a great location for this event. We have done this for the last three years. We have been to Renfro Valley twice this summer and stayed here instead of Mount Vernon because this is such a good place to stay. Wanted to relax and go to a sports bar, sadly this is located in a dry county, the closest place was about 20 minutes away. Hotel is on a busy street so there were plenty of fast food and other stores around. But a good place to rest and at a great price.

Hotel was not up to par with repairs and overall upkeep. All the lights didn't work in first room. 2nd night the air conditioner gave out and we were moved to another room. Pillows were good and comfortable.

If you are just wanting a place to sleep and not worried about experience this is it. Room was old and not kept up. Turned on air and set fire alarm off, bathroom was clean but out dated. This is just a place to sleep.

There is a note on the reception counter stating the rates have went up due to increased requirements for their breakfast as of 5 July, 12. My stay was from the 8th of July til the 9th. I have stayed in this hotel at least two other times and there was no change in the very limited breakfast selection from the previous visits

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel for the birth of my granddaughter. The location right in front of the hospital couldn't have been better. Also, lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not great, but my daughter and I are not big breakfast eaters anyway so that wasn't […] a big factor for us. Our one night stay was very pleasant and a very good overall value. The room was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The breakfast was very underwhelming even for budget motels. I would stay here again if I am ever in the area.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are outdated and seem dingy. Our bathroom door would not close and half of the door knob was missing. The room was a smoking room, which we did not request, and smelled of stale smoke. We had to go buy an air freshener to help with the smell. A plus is that the air conditioning was very cold. […] Not all rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, which we didn't know until after checking in. This was a disadvantage for us as we needed to have cold waters for our weekend. The continental breakfast included toast, doughnuts, various cereals, apples, muffins, juice and coffee. The juice was very watered down. We have stayed at this location before and it seems to be going down hill. It needs to be updated along with new mattresses. I had a business meeting in Somerset. With the 3.5 hour drive the location of the hotel was nice being right off the highway. I only needed the room to sleep, shower and then leave. I arrived @ midnight and left at 7:30am. Everthing was as it should be, no hick-ups. If I travel to Somerset again(and I'm sure I will) I'll stay there at the Super 8.

The room was very disappointing. We only had one bed for 3 people. My daughter slept on the chair. The room was very badly odor with cigarette smoke. The bathroom tub was dirty. The continnental breakfast was slim choice. Good thing we only stayed one night. I'll know not to stay there again.
