Last year we stayed in the Guesthouse Inn down the street and got bug bites so we switched to the Super 8 this year. It was also a better value. We stayed here two nights while visiting relatives. Book early for the best prices and use any discounts you have for an even better price (motel prices in tourist season in Missoula are high). We had a room with two comfortable queen beds. The room also had a desk and two chairs, a table, a small refrigerator, and a good TV. There are microwaves in the breakfast area that you can use at any time. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available at all times and there was also a coffee/tea maker in the room. The room was in good shape; clean, well maintained and serviced daily. The hotel was quiet except when some motorcycles pulled into the parking lot. We had asked for a quiet room and were given a room on the third floor on the side away from the street. There is no elevator, so if you have lots of luggage you might ask for a room on the first or second floors. The breakfast is nothing elaborate with a lot of microwavable stuff but will get you though the morning. The wifi was good but tricky to get going for some reason. I eventually got it going on one laptop but I couldn’t get it to work on our other, older laptop even though I could access the wifi at the Pizza Hut next door from the lobby. It was all we needed and for the price a good value.

The price was higher than what it is worth. Rooms were clean but the place is not worth a stay longer than one night. Does not offer relaxation options. There is one parking for trucks or rvs in their parking lot. Had to park in parking lot for a restaurant that was being used by cars being sold. The breakfast had well less then enjoyable food. Frozen waffles frozen pastries cereal coffee jucie. The dinning area very tight. Was disappointed by my stay.

A super-friendly welcome. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Very comfortable, quiet night's sleep. .Treated myself to a lie-in, so can't comment on breakfast. Missoula a nice city with some very panoramic views. Plenty of good restaurants, bars, shops and casinos within walking distance. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay another couple of days.

Uncomfortable mixture of American flags and references to God in the lobby. Was not allowed to fill my cooler with ice from the ice machine. Walls needed to be painted. Could hear neighbors whenever they took a shower. Typical Super 8 fare offered for breakfast: bottomless cup of concentrated orange juice, frozen breakfast taco, sugar-frosted flakes, bland coffee with non-dairy creamer, etc. Located veeeeeeeeeery far from the Interstate. You drive through most of the town to get here. On the plus side, the room had a fridge, which kept the beer cold.

There are two Super 8s in Missoula – one on Brooks and the other on Reserve. We were headed east and our GPS took us off the interstate at the first exit (nearest Reserve) and then navigated through Missoula to the Brooks Super 8. Missoula is an annoying mixture of one-way streets but we’ll be prepared next time. This one is an older, pre-electronic, motel (outlets are hidden behind furniture). Even though the building is older, it is very clean and well cared for (i.e. a staff that cares about the place). If you have mobility issues, you will have to deal with at least a half-flight stairs – there are no elevators. Even though the building is older, it is very clean and well cared for. Whenever we travel, we always run into a couple motels where they use beds with soft mattesses. This was one of them. If you didn’t sleep near the middle of the bed, you stood a good chance of rolling off the mattress. For supper, there was a Pizza Hut right across the parking lot. They did not provide a menu to the motel so we just walked over, ordered a pizza and brought it back to the room. For breakfast there were no waffles at this Super 8 but they had something different. They had frozen cheese omelets. There were instructions on microwaving them so it was totally easy. They actually made a tasty change from our usual breakfasts. Some day, somebody will come up with the idea of offering both waffles and omelets. For me that would be a killer combination. We also had orange juice, coffee and fruit to round out the breakfast. As we left, we drove by a home that had two huge chalk-boards wired to their fence. The sign said it was a perpetual bucket list for the neighborhood. It was a whimsical and entertaining grace note for the neighborhood. One of the items on the bucket list was “to some day understand Algebra”. It added a quirky touch to our stay.
"Great value, good location"

The is on the main highway (Brooks Street is US 12) is you're driving from the south. Even so, there was little noise at night. It is near restaurants and shopping. There is a super Walmart and grocery stores close by. The room was a good value. Pretty typical Super 8 room. Great staff, very helpful. Convenient parking (biker friendly). Low end breakfast. Excellent wifi. There is another Super 8 closer to the freeway. It is a little pricier.
"Not bad for the money!"

We stayed here one night. We are budget minded travelers so our expectations are never high. We only ask for a clean room, comfortable/clean bed and everything works fine in the room. So with that in mind, let me say, it wasn't too bad. The refrigerator was not plugged in, but we luckily figured that out shortly after putting our perishables in it. They used a porcelain paint in the tub and shower and it was peeling in several spots, but at least it was clean. There was signs of water damage on the door frame, probably from not having the shower curtain closed all the way. Wall outlet by the TV did not work, found that out when my camera batteries did not charge overnight. The bed was clean and comfortable. We did not pay much for the room, so it was still a good value overall. The staff was also friendly and knowledgeable.

This has to be the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Since I am older, alright very old, I have stayed at a lot of hotel/motels in my lifetime. I was actually shocked at how spotless everything was. The staff was super, we had a room that was very quiet, and breakfast was tasty. Highly recommend this particular Super 8 location.
"A Great Bargain"

The Missoula Super 8 on Brooks street is a great bargain. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is reasonably easy to access on the southwest side of Missoula. They have pet rooms and floors that are pet free for those who have allergies. Overall, for an inexpensive stay in a national chain, I recommend both Super 8 locations in Missoula.
