No complaints at all. the breakfast was good the rooms were clean and the price was great. Staff very friendly and courteous. Hotel was close to the Ft.Boonesbourough state park in Richmond Ky.

The ppl are rude, we stayed one night, and had a reservation for a second night which they refused to cancel ( eventhough they had plenty of time to re rent ) so we where forced to stay the second night and they never cleaned the room, made the beds or anyhing. We would have gotten a cleaner and better atmoshere in a homeless shelter.

Upon entering the lobby to check in, there was a strong smell of smoke. As we got closer to our room the entire hallway was filled with cigarrette smoke. We specifically requested a non smoking room, and that did not matter. The smoke was coming in from under the door. Nice for a quick overnight stay. Clean and nice rooms.

Over all condition of motel and room fairly run down and in need of remodeling and renovation. Linens were rough and room had funky smell [ at least they could use some air freshener]. Breakfast was good.

The hotel smelled of smoke in the halls and of something worse in the room. It was clean on the surface of the room, but the smell made me wonder about the overall cleanliness. At breakfast they didn't have any orange juice in the machine and no napkins at all. It was a disappointing stay.

Budget priced overnight stay on the way to Smoky Mountains. Friendly staff, clean room, decent wifi, country biscuits & gravy offered with more common breakfast items.

The beds were a little too soft for our tastes. Overall the staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, set us up close to a door since we had a person in a wheelchair this made things a little easier. I would like to automatic doors put in for the handicap.

reception staff cheerful and helpful, buffet breakfast very good, handy location off interstate, but rooms, corridors etc dirty and a bit grim. hotel needs the serious cleaning squad. its in tired condition but a good clean would keep it going a bit longer.

The room was OK... except for the fact that the air conditioner had only 2 working settings: Arctic cold all the time... or OFF.

For the price, this hotel was worth it. It was clean and the front desker worker (I think his name was Mark) was very friendly and helpful.

The room was tiny, the carpets in the hall were filthy, it smelled horrible, the area had alot to be desired. The only thing is that it was right off the highway. I felt like our car would be stolen overnight, or someone would break into our room. NEVER EVER STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! Plus the bath tub wouldn't drain and the toliet would go down.

Great location for the reason I was in town. Rooms very crowded. Showers and tubs need to be updated. Management was rude. Pet policy and fees need reviewed by the franchise. A Few places to get gas and even less places to eat near this hotel. Probably won't stay there again because of the pet police and fees.

I stayed at this hotel because it is cheap and right down the street from my job in Richmond where I go twice a week, but the rooms are really pretty disgusting, smelly, and dirty. The carpets are visably dirty and there are cigarette burns on the tub. It does have a coffee maker, free breakfast, and a hair dryer, but sleeping there made me worry I […] was going to get bed bugs. Some deep cleaning would really improve this hotel. Read more

Nice little place to stay, was worth the money. Just need to clean the carpet a little

Except for the carpets which could really use a good cleaning, the hotel was a great find. Easy off I -75, it provided a clean, nice place to stay. The room was clean and well appointed The breakfast was acceptional including biscuits and gravy, eggs, hot waffles and the usual bagels, cereal, etc.

THE STAFF WAS PLEASANT AT CHECK IN AND I WAS HANDED A FREE NEWSPAPER. OUR ROOM WAS ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND WE HAD TO MAKE A COUPLE TRIPS CARRYING OUR BAGS UPSTAIRS BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ELEVATOR. THE ROOM WAS QUITE SMALL FOR ONE QUEEN BED, BUT CLEAN AND HAD A FRIDG & MICROWAVE THAT BOTH WORKED FINE. IT WAS FINE FOR OUR 1 NIGHT STAY BUT IF I STAYED THERE […] AGAIN, AND I WOULD IF I NEEDED TO, I WOULD REQUEST A BIGGER ROOM AND POSSIBLY ON THE 1ST FLOOR. For a quick overnight stay it was worth the money.

Location was good for us. However, not very many restaurants close by. Cracker Barrel was fine but not much choice. Ok for one night.

This was our first stay at a Super 8. Was very pleased with the hotel and courtesy of desk clerk. Room was comfortable and clean with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and supplies. Only drawback was the coffee was very bitter.

I was worried about this hotel by the reviews on here but I was plesantly surprised by how clean and nice it was. My sister said it was a little smelly but I didn't notice. I had my two dogs with me and there was no problem with that. Pizza delivery to the room door and a good night sleep in a clean room. Hotel is located close to freeway which is very convinient; staff is friendly; and the breakfast is provided. However, the place is in great need of improvement with the overall cleaniliness to meet the standard of other super 8 I know.

The breakfast options were good. Continental breakfast pastries, bread, bagels, and cereal. As well as the biscuits and hot delicious gravy. The only issue I had was that the back door lock was not functional, and all they had was a sign that said that if you were not a guest of the hotel that you would be arrested, but that is not the same as the […] lock working. Parking was adequate. And the convenience of it being located close to restaurants, gas stations and stores (e.g. Family Dollar) for grocery items was helpful. Price was right for a one night stay. Breakfast bar was included and it was decent. Sheets came undone from both beds in the night which was a pain! Overall it was okay.

Apparently we smokers, being second class guests, do not rate having a room where the tar / nicotine has been wiped off the bathroom walls, once in a while. I could have done better with a little more cleaning and less "amenities" I had no use for, such as iron, ironing board, etc.

Although the price was very cheap, our room did smell like a sewer and we should have asked for another one. Also we were in no smoking room on the second floor I guess the smoking rooms are on first floor when we went up the steps and opened the door it smelled like someone just put one out ( but it didn't smell lkie smoke in our room only a sewer). […] When we shut the toilet lid it was better. Good for the price, could be a little less. I wanted to watch FOX News and could not find it on there Channel listing. I would stay there again.

The hotel is usually clean, Ive stayed there multiple times before but this time I wasnt impressed. The sheets were dirty and the bed was not made when we arrived. So we had to change our sheets bc someone had slept in them, discusting and the shower had not been cleaned and was COVERED in hair. The maid did not do her job in any way

This was a stop on our way to Florida the price was great but the hotel was icky.. I felt bad takeing my kids to such a grimey place. Thankfully it was late and they were sleeping and we got up super earlie. Maybe sleep there, DONT vacation and stay there. Other posters were right it smelled like smoke really bad in our NON Smokeing room.

For the money it was a good hotel. Would have like to seen healthier choices for breakfast like more fruit and protein item.

I have never seen a room that looked like it had not been cleaned in a few YEARS! There was hair in the bathroom, in the sink and shower, the sheets were so thin that you could see through them and they were very stained! The fitted sheet was not fitted and there was not matress cover on the bed. The walls appeared as if someone had actually urinated […] on them. I would not let my daughter take her socks off while she walked around the room or slept. The lady at the front desk was very nice and gave us plates for the pizza we ordered, but that is about the only positive thing I can say. It was gross! During the evening a few other guests decided to have a cookout and a few beers in the parking lot. We walked out to see beer cans and a grill and loud music playing from a SUV that had the back open. I rushed my daughter to the car and we rushed back in when we got back. One of the drunk men tried to talk to my 15 yr old! Not the best place in the world to stay, but we were there for a basketball touney and it was close to EKU's campus. Read more

The bed was comfortable, several things were in disrepair, some electrical outlets were not working, bathroom was not totally clean. Worst of all was the smell of the place, we stayed in a non-smoking room, the whole building smelled like a cigarette, very very strong. I could not wait to leave.
