My friend and I went to a concert and then spent the night here afterward because of the 2.5 hour drive. It was good for that; staff was friendly. It just needs one of those Hotel Impossible renovations and it would be perfect.

We stayed over night for a concert and it was a great location for walking to and from the concert hall, we felt safe walking back at night. When we checked in at 5:30pm the room wasn't ready - the owner needs to hire more help. It really wasn't to bad for what we paid and the purpose of the stay. Finding the hotel isn't easy to get to, you can see it but the sign is so small and traffic so heavy it was hard to get into. You actually have to drive through Bob Evans parking lot to get to the hotel. Hotel is old and very run down, property needs some major maintenance and updates. Our room was " clean" but very worn, we had two holey towels and grungy wash cloths. Beds were hard, pillows flat and rooms very small. Kids don't stay free, they charge $7 a piece!! Breakfast was two types of cereal, coffee, milk, oj, apple juice and bagels and coffee cake. It was not good and not clean. Room was on third floor with no elevator, could hear everything going on outside the room. I will not return, for $80+ I will stay somewhere nicer. Will not recommend! Read more

This place wasn't too bad. If you're looking for a cheap decent livable place to stay that's better than a motel quality, then this is your place. However don't expect too much of it. First, the breakfast was a little light and don't expect it to be anything spectacular. They had a couple of different choices (like bagels, apples, 2 types of cereal) […] so at least there was some stuff. Second, the rooms were nice considering how old the place seems. The housekeeping though seems like they didnt like working there. When I got there, the bathroom sink had some toothpaste stains from the previous person in the sink, there was a makeup or glitter gel stain on the counter that was hardly attempted at cleaning, and the towels were a hit and miss. Some of the towels I got had stains on them and I hadn't used them. The beds were decent and comfy to sleep on so that was nice. Tv was pretty standard and got the basic stuff. The room itself wasn't bad though. Overall it was on the cheaper side and an upgrade from a motel status. If you're in the town and need a cheap decen place to stay, this is your place to go to. If you're looking for an upscale place, this isn't it. Read more

The hotel was clean and cheap. Nothing fancy and the 'breakfast' was pretty terrible, but we wanted a place close to the Coliseum for a concert that was clean. This place was both so it worked just fine.

Room clean - breakfast good - check in people very nice and helped us on request of more towels, etc. Had problem with light in bathroom in our room and front desk moved us to another room with good light in bathroom. Overall stay was good, close to all our destinations and I would book a stay at this hotel again.

The bathroom was fairly tidy, but the sink looked as if some kind of soap had been dumped into it recently and not rinsed down. The mattresses gave alot as if they were very well used. The toilet paper almost didn't qualify as a whole 1ply. I reserved a single queen room and was told when i got there they didn't have any and I was being placed in one […] with two fulls. I booked 2 rooms the one was fine the second one however, bed was made , but towels in bathroom were hung as though they had been used and hung to dry, no soap , no tissues, no coffee ect. ..you need to make sure rooms are completely finished before renting them out again.

I didnt like my stay at all, the room was too small, and the rod in the bathroom was coming out of the wall so anyone that took a shower had to keep pulling the curten so that it closes. Only thing I did not like is that whoever stayed in the room prior smoked although it is non smoking and the smell was there is was not strong but since I am a non smoker I could tell. Outside of that everything else was great excellent location and the service was great as well.

The problem seems that there was a main breaker for the room. It had been off before we arrived. There was a small refrigerator in the room, and it had staganate water in it, and was moldy. We stayed for two nights, and told the front desk in the morning what our problem was. He told us that he would tell the cleaning person about it. When we first walked in the room was blistering hot. You could see all the dirt on the floor as if it hadn't been cleaned in a few visits. The bed sat up on wooden planks and the TV was an old tube that made loud screeching sounds when turned on. The breakfast looked like a gas station line up and the fitness room was "Out of Order". The area around […] the hotel isn't quite family friendly with all of the strip joints and the "Gang like" style of the people around it wasn't comforting at all. It was also extremely difficult to drive anywhere due to medians on nearly every main road. To go left you had to go right until you found the nearest stoplight. This hotel is very close to War Memorial Coliseum, which is why I chose it. It was a short walk to and from the concert at the coliseum. Good price, but you get what you pay for. Not too many amenities, very basic continental breakfast, and decent rooms. I would consider staying here again if going to the Coliseum.

We were disappointing because upon entering our room we found a large toenail clipping right between the beds.(We do have a picture but don't think you really want to see that). It was really gross and just set the mood for the room. We never took our shoes off. Luckily we only had to sleep there briefly. Room had a perfectly working microwave and mini fridge that cooled my water bottles very quickly. It's a 'no frills' stay but perfectly comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and there was shampoo, soaps and a hair dryer. The hot water was perfect and the continental breakfast was exactly what I needed; coffee, orange juice, cheese and fruit danishes, […] mini muffins and fruits; all tucked away in a nice room where you could serve yourself and then take it back to your own room. Guests should remember to keep their 'inside voices' when roaming the hallways since late at night or early in the morning you can hear the noise from the hallway in your room but I am definitely recommending the hotel (perfectly located next to a Panera Bread and behind a Bob Evans) for anyone like me who was attending an event at the War Memorial Coliseum. We arrived in town around 6 p.m. and our guest rooms were not cleaned yet. Once they finished the cleaning, our rooms were still not adequately cleaned. One room had something that was "sprayed" all over the front of the TV.
